He explained the pricing method for the hand weights and the difference between the types available. He had me in and out in a matter of minutes with exactly what I told him I needed. This place has TONS of second hand sporting equipment in here. I was really awestruck by the amount of inventory they carry on hand. We don't have a huge need for sports equipment, but I will definitely come back next time we do. Why pay full retail if you don't have to?

just had a bad experience .... so I had purchased two…read moredifferent pants for my son not sure which ones to get him because he was not with me neither pair fit him and apparently they have a seven day policy that they can only buy the pants back from you if it's beyond seven days, however these are brand new pants with tags on them receipt in hand. I could understand if they were used pants, but these are brand new. They could not refund money back, but they said they would buy them from me for eight dollars apiece after I paid $35 a pair so they wanted to give me $16 for both pairs of pants after I had already spent $70 on them just so they could go back and leave them as brand new pants and sell them for $35 per pair again. I have no intentions of going back to the store or any other play it again store. and word-of-mouth will go a long way with other people

Bauer refuses to exchange the stick or give me another coupon. They just offered to help me filling out the return suggesting I order a new stick to replace it that would cost $90 more because I used the coupon on the wrong stiick.

It's refreshing to meet employees who are not only friendly but genuinely knowledgeable, definitely made navigating the store so much easier. For anyone entering from the east side, you'll head up the escalator, turn right twice, and walk straight toward the northeast corner of the second floor to find the restrooms. The women's restroom was clean, had three stalls, including a handicap-accessible one, and was easy to locate thanks to the clear directions. The store itself is well organized, and the stadium-chair section was conveniently located near the restrooms. We found a great variety of stadium chairs, from large cushioned options around $60 to several other sizes and styles to fit different needs. The selection and pricing felt fair for the quality. Dick's offers a rewards program and fortunately we also had a coupon for $10 off of $40 purchase, saving while spending makes me happy.

Academy Sports is extremely clean and well organized, plus each department is easy to find. Sale items were clearly marked and quickly caught our attention.
