During…read morethe exchange process, an employee stated my brand of shirt, Roper, runs a size larger than normal. The cashier took my shirt and told me to select another shirt to replace mine. The store was big but I stopped at the first shirt section I came to. The selection of shirts was much more extensive than I was expecting and this was only one section in the men's clothing area. There were other areas of shirts to browse but I was able to find what I liked right away. The Western style shirt I selected to exchange was the second one I picked because the first one did not have a medium size on the rack. I tried it on over my shirt I was wearing just make sure it was the right size. I liked the deep blue snaps on that shirt. I ended up having to pay another seven dollars for the Cody James shirt I selected because I believe the original gift shirt was on sale. It still cost less than $50 and was a high quality, expensive looking patterned Western cut shirt. I didn't know this store existed previously so now that I know it's here, I will come back to shop for future needs.

With brands like Clarks and Birkenstock, you are guaranteed comfort and good quality. It's not really my style, though. The lady friend was looking at their Uggs, but she didn't find any she liked. These 12 year old Iron Rangers 8111 have seen some things, but I brought them in for a re sole with Traction Tred and the results were outstanding. They estimated the work would take 8 to 10 weeks, and somehow returned them to me in just 5 weeks. Faster than the Kessel Run and twice as satisfying. The boots came back cleaned, refreshed, and looking incredible while keeping all the hard earned character they built over the years. The new soles make a huge difference. They are more comfortable, have excellent grip, and feel like the boots leveled up without losing their identity. This is what proper craftsmanship looks like. I've been loyal to the Asics Gel Nimbus for a few years, until the brand changed the style of the shoe into more of a Hoka. So, it was time to go back to Athletic Annex and find something new. Depending on the day of the week and time of day, you may be helped immediately or need to wait a bit. I was greeted by an employee who had me step on the foot analysis machine and walk on the treadmill to analyze my gait. They had just received new AI technology. She went over the results and pulled a number of shoes for me to try. Athletic Annex sells all the top brands -- Hoka, Brooks, On Clouds, Asics, New Balance, etc. I think it's well worth it to come to a running store like this (even if you're not a runner, like me) to see what is going to be best for you and your feet. My only comment is I was hoping for the sales associate to be more knowledgeable about the shoes and guide me through the process a bit more. For example: what made her select those shoes for me to try, what are the differences, what should I notice when walking in them around the store, etc. Personal preference on what I'm looking for in my shoe buying experience!

I called customer service and they want me to drop it off at a fed ex location. This issue was not rectified in a way that best suits the consumer. I'll never shop JD again.

I was also told that the store should be making this right, not their line. There was apparently no note in my account about this interaction between myself and the brand manager.
