I don't mind stopping to support a good cause and today was a perfect day because everything was 30% off! There were a lot of cute clothes and the prices didn't seem too bad. It may just be me but when I see the word Boutique I automatically equate that to high prices. I ended up buying a cute leopard purse. They also had some bath salts, some lotion, and candles. They had a table that had some cute Christmas ornaments on it and also in the back they had small toys for children like wooden puzzles and wooden pull behinds. I also saw on their sign out front that they would soon have coffee. I will have to stop back by when they have a little more time under their belt and when they have coffee. They were having a little wine party in the store to celebrate Small Business Saturday and the mood was very festive. It seems like a fun place to hang out, and a very calming atmosphere, lot of room between fixtures in the store and a little seating area. The clothes are probably for the 20-mid 40 something crowd. I didn't find anything for myself but saw a lot of things for my daughter. I did buy a soy candle that was locally made in Fishers. The saying on the glass jar reminded me of someone and will make a perfect hostess gift.

The boutique offered me a 10 dollar gift card to the boutique and suggested that I take it somewhere to have the button sewn back on?!? I sent pictures and everything and they insisted it was not packaged this way stating that it was not refundable and I could file a claim with the post office. They answered that they issued the rebate in April but that USPS returned it to them- no reason given to me as to why. But said to give them my address and it would be taken care of - so I did but here a month later and still no rebates. This is $80 due me for batteries which were 3 yrs old from mfrs date at time of purchase. What more will it take to get my rebates?? How is a large corporation allow something like this to happen?? I mean they had my email address and phone number so surely someone could have called, texted, or emailed me if they was a problem with my address?? And I've lived in same place for 20 years so it wasn't like it didn't get forwarded!

The store is really open and very brightly lit, the walkways were clear and it looked very recently updated. The people behind the counter took care of me quickly and we're very friendly. She handled the transaction in literally seconds, gave me a coupon and thanked me for coming in. As I looked around the building, they seem to have a large selection men's women's kids, shoes, tons of stuff for everyone and I know that their prices are some of the best around for this type of clothes. One of the coolest things they had on this St. Valentine's Day was a "Bloom Box" (I think that is what they called it). It was several bins filled with gorgeous wildflowers and you could hand-select the flowers of your choice. They also had a table with butcher paper, twine, shears and tape so you could wrap your bouquet with thoughtfulness and love. I had so much fun picking wildflowers and accompanying greenery to craft the perfect bouquet. I especially love the cute bags they use for your purchase. I decided to get a latte today and sit and enjoy the little space they have ... bonus points for not having a room full of people using their space for office work or it looking like the coffee shop we tried yesterday. Very nice ambiance and the sunlight makes that room so warm and cozy. A nice array of books to just look through. I enjoyed it very much! Maria made my latte, she was very sweet. I even was able to try the graham cracker ice cream which was delicious! Definitely going back for that! I purchased a couple little trinkets, and looked at all the different items. I have a thing for costume jewelry and they have a lot of it. They have clothes, coats, jackets, shoes, a few books, jewelry, and odds and ends. At $2 I have not found any good designer high end pieces but it is fun just to look and see what you discover. She was excited to tell me more when I asked at checked out too. I was the only customer in the store during my visit and I appreciate that she didn't stalk me or bother me while I was shopping. The store was originally located in Beech Grove for 8 years, but the owner is from Morristown and hated driving so far, so she eventually relocated it closer to her. I'm giving 3 stars because it's one of the most disorganized thrift stores I've been in. There is next to no organization. The racks are labeled with sizes, but I always found lots of other sizes mixed in. And clothing is not separated by category. There's 3-4 racks of each size spread all throughout the store and each rack has anything from swimsuits to dresses to jackets on it. When I was greeted, she said "it's a treasure hunt". It was definitely a hunt trying to sort through the mess. The lighting is dim, there were at least two larger rooms not being used for merchandise and a large section in the middle of the main room closed off housing misc appliances. They have one fitting room that is literally a closet with a mirror. I think they would do a lot better if they organized the items better. Most people don't like digging through stuff...even for $2 items. She also said they take donations, but they've only had 5 since being at this location.
