It may just be me but when I see the word Boutique I automatically equate that to high prices. I ended up buying a cute leopard purse. They also had some bath salts, some lotion, and candles. They had a table that had some cute Christmas ornaments on it and also in the back they had small toys for children like wooden puzzles and wooden pull behinds. I also saw on their sign out front that they would soon have coffee. I will have to stop back by when they have a little more time under their belt and when they have coffee. Once you walk in the lemon colored front door, you will be amazed at the beautiful decor throughout the shop. From the lighting to the flooring and everything in between, this is first class! The front portion of the store is filled with all kinds of stylish fashions and accessories. They have a small section of cute clothes for kids. Most items are suited for young to middle age women (even though I'm considered a little above middle age, I still find plenty of things that are age appropriate). They have sizes that go up to 3X in all the beautiful styles. Anne certainly has an eye for fashion and they are always getting new selections. Their inventory turns quickly! I have found that everything is neatly pressed, tagged and hung on a black velvet hanger. With each purchase, your item will be wrapped in yellow tissue paper and tucked inside a nice shopping bag. Even their POS process is top notch when they use their IPad, you can either take the receipt with you, have it texted or e-mailed or both. There is a comfortable seating area in the back for someone who may be shopping with you to sit and relax or it's roomy enough for children to play on the floor. The dressing rooms are beautifully decorated and the whole place smells amazing. For you listening pleasure, they have some nice music playing in the background. This is a true stress reliever for me! The employees are very friendly and will let you look around, but are there if you need them. I had the pleasure of meeting two of Anne's daughters on my last visit and they were both knowledgeable & very pleasant to talk with. Make sure you check out all the jewelry that is placed around the store, there are some very unique pieces. If you are interested in the Lenny & Eva collection, they have several pieces of this. I had not wanted to spend much on the trip -- and, well, Blush on Main ended that fantasy pretty quickly. Blush on Main has racks and racks of beautiful women's clothes and accessories. If it weren't for being pregnant, I may have revelled in these racks a bit more. My sister-in-law, though, found a few items to try on here. What I really loved was Blush on Main's hat collection. I'm a sucker for a great hat (for proof, see my main Yelp profile pic). This shop had a few varieties that were particularly good for more regular wear, such as when outside at home, at farmers markets, on vacation, etc. I found a straw hat with a blue band that I had to have. It cost around $45, I believe, which was over my budget for the day (see the second paragraph above) but not so much to break the bank. I forked over my credit card, and I wore the hat the rest of the day. My sister-in-law and mother-in-law also got great hats. The clothes wear and wash well the styles are interesting and unique. This location in the Edinburgh Outlet Mall has the best selection and sales. Today, everything was $12.99 and under with an extra percentage off. I bought several shirts and pants for under $5 each on the clearance rack along with a couple sweet dresses for $5! Hard to believe those prices which are marked 80 percent off. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They greet you when you walk on the door and tell you about the daily specials. I even see them making sure that the staff has lunch. What great teamwork! Today, they were the only store in the mall to offer gift boxes. I'll take two! Parking can be a bear but I find that I can park in back of the store for easy in and out. If you've got special kids on your list, check them out!
