    Treasures!
    Catherine F.

Update!! As wonderful as the Blue Caboose experience was last time, right now EVERYTHING IN THE STORE IS $2!!! I wandered in to look, found several treasures, and left having spent only $10! I'm halfway through losing a massive amount of weight, and my size is a moving target... I'll be heading over a lot this year, I can tell! Don't. Miss. This. Right now she has a TON of nice high quality bathing suits...

Full of clothes from front to back!

The Blue Caboose is the best kind of place to walk into and search for buried treasure. Lisa, the owner, greeted me when I walked in and explained the store to me. She buys clothes from anywhere she can -- Target, JC Penney, and anywhere else -- by the truckload. Then she sorts them by size and sells them in the store for $2. Yes, literally everything -- dresses, coats, shirts, pants, scarves, purses, shoes, toys, jewelry -- is always $2. Think of it like a thrift store / Goodwill but on the corner of Beech Grove's Main St. Now, the store is crowded and could be more organized (I did say *buried* treasure). However, I think the joy of digging through such an assortment of clothing makes up for it. There were pieces that would be great for costumes or decade days. There were some pieces that you'd actually wear out and about. Plenty of kids clothes, too. I enjoyed flipping through the racks. There is a fitting room for you to use in the back on the right. It's cute and has three mirrors in it. Oh, and this store is pet friendly if you have a little pooch you want to bring while you rifle through everything.

This is their updated hours and prices

This is a cool little place so it's a small thrift shop but they also sell things that are new with tags. But here's the kicker everything is $2 even the stuff that's brand new. I love this because I feel like it truly helps people that really need these items. I went to goodwill a few times and man they overpriced everything and if they get stuff with tags donated they pretty much want to sell it to u for the full retail price geez. So another neat thing is that on Fridays everything is $1, Saturday .50, and Sundays .25. With these prices I feel like they truly help people they care and don't over price stuff. They also take donations on clothing and I belive some small home items. Their hours are not updated here also they have a new location on Main st. Hours are Tuesday-Sat 10am-5p. Sunday 12p-5p and they're closed on Mondays. One more thing to mention is that they have a Facebook page and they pist new items they get in also if you're interested in that particular item they have a rack towards the back that has all the items that have been posted so u can find it quickly

I don't mind stopping to support a good cause and today was a perfect day because everything was 30% off! There were a lot of cute clothes and the prices didn't seem too bad. It may just be me but when I see the word Boutique I automatically equate that to high prices. I ended up buying a cute leopard purse. They also had some bath salts, some lotion, and candles. They had a table that had some cute Christmas ornaments on it and also in the back they had small toys for children like wooden puzzles and wooden pull behinds. I also saw on their sign out front that they would soon have coffee. I will have to stop back by when they have a little more time under their belt and when they have coffee. Give it a look-see and see if you like it because I did.

They had just opened when I arrived and were very friendly. They prices are extremely affordable and they also carry children's clothing which most boutiques I've been to don't have. I really enjoyed their selection of graphic tees. I'm a graphic tee addict and was able to siphon through a huge couple of boxes they hadn't put out on the store shelf yet. It made me feel like a VIP when the store owner offered me those boxes. I also really enjoyed their huge selection of leggings. And their sale rack left me going home with some dresses I never thought I'd wear. Shop local and head over to this store if you're in Greenfield!

The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they always have to text the owner to find out the price of something because it isn't marked. Most of their prices are affordable and they have a sweet little clearance room where just about everything is $12.99. I found the cutest dress today for just $12.99!!! I couldn't believe it. The employees are always really sweet and helpful and I love the owners photography posted throughout the store. She also gives 10% of her proceeds to charities around the community. Gotta love that!!!

Once you walk in the lemon colored front door, you will be amazed at the beautiful decor throughout the shop. From the lighting to the flooring and everything in between, this is first class! The front portion of the store is filled with all kinds of stylish fashions and accessories. They have a small section of cute clothes for kids. Most items are suited for young to middle age women (even though I'm considered a little above middle age, I still find plenty of things that are age appropriate). They have sizes that go up to 3X in all the beautiful styles. Anne certainly has an eye for fashion and they are always getting new selections. Their inventory turns quickly! I have found that everything is neatly pressed, tagged and hung on a black velvet hanger. With each purchase, your item will be wrapped in yellow tissue paper and tucked inside a nice shopping bag. Even their POS process is top notch when they use their IPad, you can either take the receipt with you, have it texted or e-mailed or both. There is a comfortable seating area in the back for someone who may be shopping with you to sit and relax or it's roomy enough for children to play on the floor. The dressing rooms are beautifully decorated and the whole place smells amazing. For you listening pleasure, they have some nice music playing in the background. This is a true stress reliever for me! The employees are very friendly and will let you look around, but are there if you need them. I had the pleasure of meeting two of Anne's daughters on my last visit and they were both knowledgeable & very pleasant to talk with. Make sure you check out all the jewelry that is placed around the store, there are some very unique pieces. If you are interested in the Lenny & Eva collection, they have several pieces of this. I have included several photos for you to get a better feel for what this classy boutique has to offer. If you ever need something to wear for a special event, I have no doubt that you can find something unique at Lemon Lane!

Have you ever stopped into a store "just because?"…read more That's pretty much what triggered a recent visit to Butler-Tarkington's Lunch Money Boutique, one of the more recent additions to this perfectly lovely area that specializes in luxury children's clothing from newborn to size 16. Lunch Money Boutique emphasizes sustainable fashion for the kiddos (Am I the only one who wrestles with whether to spell it as kiddos or kiddoes?). Lunch Money is located next to Byrne's Grilled Pizza. I really do love this corner, though it's definitely more of a premium corner in terms of shopping. Lunch Money? The styles are adorable (and yes, leaning toward "luxury"). The employees are friendly. The store itself is nicely designed and a genuinely pleasing atmosphere. I'm not sure what it says about me that these newborns have better fashion sense than I do, but if their parents shop here it's definitely true. For those with mobility issues, entering from the back is your best option in terms of accessibility. There is a step up-front. It's my one major downer for this entire neighborhood - it's just not particularly wheelchair friendly. I didn't end up buying anything on this visit, though I undoubtedly would. If you're looking for more premium options and care about sustainability, I'd definitely recommend a visit here. As an added plus, this is also the same building as Kids Ink. While I'm getting old enough that most of my friends don't have young children, on those occasions when I am looking for options for the children in my life I won't hesitate to return here.
