Popular restaurant and café, good food, many coffee and tea varieties, including dry packaged…read more Café Jun is a restaurant and café in the Forest Green shopping center on US 40. It's a smallish space and indoor seating was really full at 11 AM on a weekday. Because of rain, the outdoor benches were not in use, and I saw closed-up patio-umbrellas too. I ordered from a kiosk or you could order online or in person. I got the bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was made quickly by welcoming staff. It was a regular size croissant with very light cheese and a layer of crispy bacon pieces in a well toasted croissant. The flavor was good. This café also sells a number of beverages, including fresh ground espresso, and various teas And they sell some bakery goods, candies, and quite a variety of dry-packaged teas and coffee. The parking right in front Café Jun can get pretty full, but there's plenty parking in the rest of the shopping center. You can enter the shopping area from eastbound US-40 Baltimore National Pike, or from westbound Frederick Road. It's just east of Centennial Lane/Bethany Lane and about a mile West of US 29. The larger shopping area has a diner 3-strip mall sections, one of which is called Princess Shopping Center, so I'm a little confused which mall-name covers which shops. They have a summer concert planned! That should be fun!

I will say, if you're going alone it may be a little more difficult to find seating but since it was two of us, we found seating and then ordered. Signage does say to order food before sitting, but if you plan to stay, I would do the opposite. The wait wasn't long for food and you get the Wifi code by ordering, as the password is on the bottom of the receipt. Certain seating doesn't allow laptops, so pay attention to that. The chipotle chicken wrap was SO good and I loved the Island Green smoothie. Pricing was on the typical side for a cafe, not too expensive but not the cheapest either. I would go again to see if it's always busy, plus to get that wrap again. We went on a Tuesday around 12PM.

We discovered this place from Instagram promoting their new line of Dirty sodas so my wife wanted…read moreto check them out. We were greeted and pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and the wide selection of options. This is a smoothie place BUT also so much more than that! They offer things like fresh smoothies, fresh lemonades in a bunch of awesome flavors, smoothie bowls, and even crepes. The place itself is really nice and positive inside. They have positivity in everything from the colors they use in their decor and even their counter has saying posted to brighten your day all over it. I was curious about this so we asked more about this place and were both surprised and delighted by the answers we got from staff. This place started as a food truck five years ago that turned into a physical location about three years ago that is one of one. What makes it such a wonderful place is they work with special needs individuals and they also have them intern at this place. That's such a wonderful thing as someone who mentors someone with special needs and has a wife that works with individuals with autism that means a lot to us. My wife is pregnant with our son and we can't wait to bring him here :) we also can't wait to return to try other options. We even thought about the having the person I mentor intern here for some life experience/fun environments. They have 9 different dirty sodas and they come in 24oz (we'd love smaller size options and flights options if possible! We wanted to try all the flavors) They also have games for you to play while they make your items. I love that they asked for and value feedback and are stoaked with giving recommendations which I asked for and genuinely care about what you think and wanted to make sure you are happy with your items. This was a 10 outta 10 experience for us. Well done guys! - SupaFlyITGuy approved! We loved our choices of purple haze and Dr. Mash and my Joplin smoothie

I think it's excellent in general, not just compared to other vegan restaurants. I give Great Sage 5 stars, meaning everything was tasty and I was impressed. Well balanced flavor in all the dishes. Cheese didn't feel oily or fake, just nice and creamy. Staff is great. Space feels clean and open. Wish it was a little cheaper so I could come more often. However FYI - happy hour on M-F 3-6pm where tapas are $6 instead of $9 and appetizers are $12 instead of $18. Definitely makes it more doable!

We were seated close to the restroom. The lighting is very dim , my husband had to use the flash on his phone to read the menu. Service- our waitress was friendly but slow, had to wait for on everything Atmosphere- chill, earthy, warm, too dark for older folks Food- cocktails way too sweet, it was like drinking syrup, especially the pumpkin martini, I tasted no alcohol only sugar ; crab-cake, the sauce drizzled on top was too sour with no flavor just ruined the entire dish, the combination they place the crab cake on was delicious; balt wrap, so-so not very good, tasteless; mac n cheese, super good, highly recommend ; portobello mushroom Bulgogi sauce over rice, it was good and came in big portions ; Brussel sprout appetizer was yummy ; so was the baked potato . Price- not cheap, mid to high range Foods of @WineDinenVacay didn't care for this experience, don't recommend.
