Eli and his Pure Builders' team did a wonderful job on our completely renovated home. We had an inspiration, and Eli and Claire (his designer) were indispensable in helping us with the design and material selections. We had no idea of the multitude of decisions we had to make, and Pure Builders guided us all the way. The end product was exactly like our inspiration pictures and in some areas even better. We love our home and hardly ever want to leave. We enjoy it that much. The scope of our renovation included new roofing material, all new windows, all new exterior doors including 2 new sliders and a new door that did not exist before, new engineered hardwood flooring, a new balcony extending out from our second-floor primary bedroom, an additional patio cover, opening up one wall, an expanded kitchen and primary bath, brand new HVAC and heating system including ducting, and new paint inside and outside. The scope of the work required us to empty the house and move out. Eli assisted us with references for movers and places to stay. Once we signed on, Eli, Claire, and the project manager took charge right away. To start, the team handled all of our permitting and homeowner association and neighbor approvals and signatures. That was a big relief to us. Roofing work and demolition took place while waiting for permits. Once permits were in place the project proceeded in full force. We have to say, Eli's sub-contractors are top-notch. All were very professional, picking and cleaning at the end of each day. I can't say how happy we are with the quality of the construction. Everyone from framers, electricians, drywall people, floor people, tilers, cabinetry, painters, and stone fabricator were knowledgeable, helpful, pleasant to talk to, and excellent craftsmen. Our house feels much more solid and so much better insulated. Eli and Claire also have excellent relationships with Universal Appliances and Ferguson Home. We purchased all our new appliances and hardware through those two outlets, and the experience was fun, the process and installation seamless. The project took nine months which was about two months longer than we estimated. We have been told by other homeowners that it was actually pretty quick given the scope of work. In all honesty, some decisions took us longer to make which contributed to the delay. The overall project also came in over budget, but every bit was explainable. One big reason for the overrun was the top-quality materials we picked for our home. Given our investment, we didn't want to settle on materials, appliances, etc. There were also unforeseen change orders that were necessary for safety, inspections or to achieve a design goal. Eli stands by his word on quality. His team has been to our house several times after construction for minor adjustments and touch up work. This was my husbands and I's first major remodel. Due to all the bad experiences we've had with contractors before, we decided to be very selective in who we hired this time. It wasn't until after our second meeting with Eli that we decided to hire Pure Builders. We truly felt like he was competent, professional, and he was highly recommended by my best friend. A bit of the back story- we had bought a fixer upper home that ended up having a ton of foundation issues. We hired Eli and his dream team Yaniv, Daniel, and Love to help us to renovate our Hollywood Hills home. The home is over 50 years old and had not been touched since the late '90s. The kitchen, bathrooms, and floors were horrendous, not to mention the disproportionate amount of space. My husband and I really enjoyed working with Pure Builders on our home remodel. After our first conversation with Eli, we felt at ease as he gave us a clear understanding of what to expect. We hired Pure Builders for our complete home remodel and the results are amazing. We're the owners of a 4,200 square foot home in Westlake Village that we purchased new in 1996. We bought a house in Thousand Oaks and knew from the beginning that the house would need a complete remodeling. We interviewed three contractors and each one of them had his own approach. We were confused.... Eli Kaspi from Pure Builders was the only one who advised us to sign a contract of a complete design for our project. Pure Builders recently completed a remodel of a master bathroom and jack-n-jill bathroom. We compared reviews and quotes from several companies, and settled on Pure Builders based on a combination of excellent reviews, an excellent first meeting with owner Eli, a competitive quote, and visiting some other properties that used them. Everyone on the team was a pleasure to work with from owner Eli, to foreman Udi, to Love in the office, to the individual workers. Coordination and scheduling was excellent throughout the process. Eli and Udi were very responsive with addressing change requests and correcting any small issues that we noted. In addition to the bathrooms and hallway in the original contract, Eli willingly accommodated additional items that we requested at reasonable cost. There were also several small things, unrelated to the primary bathroom work that Eli took care of without additional costs. There was no nickel-and-diming for small items, which I really appreciated. This past summer, we contacted Pure Builders to do a kitchen remodel on the estate of a dead family member. All I can say is W-O-W these guys are about their stuff! They made sure not only to do an amazing job raising the resale value with granite table tops, hardwood flooring, amazing cabinets with a bunch of space, but they were also very friendly clean and polite.
