I was dripping sweat throughout LOL I usually go to solidcore since I have a membership but since injuring my shoulder, I have been taking a break and trying to find new places that are lower impact on my shoulder. I was able to make lots of modifications while still getting a good burn in. I definitely recommend this barre workout for people looking to be active with a slight challenge.

Classes are pricey though and it's expensive to be a member here. All kinds of packages are available but a 3-6 month pass ranges from $300-500. I love this studio but not sure it's worth these prices to me.

Heads up: the walk down is a little precarious since there's no railing for most of the stairs, but it's not very steep and the trek itself is pretty short. The falls themselves were a bit disappointing at the moment--more of a trickle than a waterfall--but it is early in the season. That said, the forested park area it winds through was really nice, and made the visit worth it regardless. I can already tell this place is probably stunning in the summer when everything is green and flowing! Even with the lower water level, it was a great way to explore somewhere new and great to see there were so many people already exploring the park with it being chilly still!

So much easier than dealing with boat launches and maintenance. This all comes at a price though, it is not cheap so if you are going to sign up make sure you are committed. Also this isn't something that's good for someone who isn't able to make plans ahead of time. Don't expect to be able to reserve a boat at noon on a Saturday. The more flexibility you have around your schedule the better off you'll be. If you work late during the week and can't make plans ahead of time then you'll hate this. But if you learn how the system works and plan ahead, you'll get lots of use out of it!

We picked up our boat at 2:30 p.m., and before we even left the marina, the boat was making a noticeable grinding noise, that the sales person heard too. Once we got out onto the lake and increased our speed, the noise temporarily went away, so we assumed everything was okay. We were on Lake Mille Lacs and found a calmer area to take our children tubing. Before leaving the marina, we specifically asked whether tubing life jackets were included, and we were told yes. However, when we got to our tubing spot, the only life jackets on board were the standard orange emergency vests. We had to return all the way to the marina to get the proper life jackets, only to be given three youth jackets $50-90 lbs\.$ and one adult jacket. Our group consisted of two adults and two teenagers, so we didn't even have enough properly sized life jackets for everyone to tube. We had to share jackets, meaning not everyone could participate at the same time. After tubing for about two hours, we were heading back when the boat suddenly made the same loud grinding noise and completely stopped working. My husband immediately began calling for assistance while the boat drifted across the lake toward shore. Eventually, he had to get out and manually walk the boat to a nearby dock to keep us safe. What happened next was even more frustrating. We waited nearly three hours for them to look at the boat. A salesperson and someone introduced as a mechanic arrived, but the mechanic appeared to be intoxicated. He actually fell into the lake while attempting to inspect the boat, nearly striking his head on it. The owner of the dock witnessed the incident and asked him to leave because he was so impaired. That was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. To his credit, the salesperson was polite, apologetic, and drove us back to our vehicle, which we appreciated. However, that does not make up for the experience. My husband started calling for help around 4:30 p.m., and we didn't make it back to our car until approximately 7:30 p.m. We lost a significant portion of the five-hour rental that we paid for through no fault of our own. To make matters worse, I have now received a bill for $750 in repairs. I find this completely unacceptable. The boat was making grinding noises before we ever left the marina, and it ultimately failed because of what appears to have been a pre-existing mechanical issue. We should not be held financially responsible for repairing a boat that was already experiencing problems. This rental turned what should have been a fun family day into a stressful and frustrating experience. I hope Your Boat Club carefully reviews what happened, reconsiders these repair charges, and takes steps to ensure future customers are provided with safe, properly maintained equipment and adequate safety gear.

I really love Pure Barre on Grand in St. Paul. I started at Pure Barre after having my second child - and after taking a hiatus from serious exercise for almost a year. I was scared about a group setting and not being able to keep up but the staff and teachers at Pure Barre made me feel welcome from the start. They make an effort to get to know you, teach you correct form, and make classes enjoyable. Even after a few months, they still stop me after class to ask if I had questions, give me positive feedback, and correct my form on a regular basis. While there are some seriously fit people taking classes, everyone seems to focus on their self and improving wherever you are in your ability. Classes are challenging - but there's always opportunities to make things easier. Overall, I love the studio and am glad to have a Pure Barre in the neighborhood! read more

I'm so happy with this studio! I started Pure Barre about 3.5 years ago in another state (CO) and have done it intermittently between having my kids. It's a 55 min workout that is very low impact and not cardio-based but absolutely hands down...it changes your body and improves flexibility and strength. The areas of your body it targets are essentially what every woman wants to work on; core, upper arms, seat and thighs. I'm not a fan of exercise in general and with multiple injuries/surgeries (two pelvic surgeries due to a car accident, two c-sections, ACL repair, foot surgery) I have a hard time finding something that is comfortable and effective. Pure Barre is my saving grace when it comes to keeping my body strong and my mind clear. Very happy with Pure Barre St Paul and the entire staff! read more

I have been a student of Pure Barre since December of 2016 and have consistently gone 4ish times a week. My body loves it! My back loves it!! I've never moved so little and gotten this big of a result! And I'm 44! The changes I've been able to make have been incredible! My arms and shoulders back and core, legs and booty are more toned than ever! Long, lean and lifted ladies and gents. SO MUCH FUN and SUCH a good workout. To those who are interested in trying it, I will warn you (and the studio will, too) that it takes a few classes to feel really comfortable/confident! I am a former dancer who is a perfectionist and sometimes it got a little frustrating to have a fast-paced class with moves that I wasn't always nailing. STICK WITH IT. It takes about 10 classes to really get the rhythm, but it is SO worth it. The instructors, the barretenders (front desk workers), and the other people in class create a warm, friendly atmosphere. I went to my first barre class this morning! Loved it! The instructor was great. I felt very supported and welcomed as a first timer. Everyone from the front desk staff to the instructor made sure I had everything I needed, I knew where to put my stuff and where to go...that's half the battle going your first time. I plan to go again. PLUS when I got there they said I could do a buy one get one free class pass! Also liked I could make my profile online with my payment info and they could charge that card when I got there so I didn't have to carry that with me. read more

Started taking Barre classes at this studio through a Groupon and have loved it ever since! I am a runner and was looking for a supplemental work out on my non-running days and Barre could not be more perfect. The instructors make it a point to learn your name and call you by your name when you check in, during class and leave. They are also extremely encouraging and uplifting during class! The instructors definitely treat you as if you know what you are doing and help/give further instruction where they see you need it. All the teachers are great, but I often find myself in classes taught by Heather, Sophie, and Samantha. Core is a small, very welcoming studio and can accomodate levels of practice from beginners to more advanced practice. I have been helped immeasurably to recover from more than one surgery. Personal limitations are taken into account and modifications are always available if needed. This is a very respectful atmosphere which helps to inspire continued participation.

Unfortunately, corporate has decided to close the Woodbury location and redirect members to Edina. While relocating might be acceptable for some, the real issue is the lack of flexibility: longtime members like me can't cancel their memberships via the app. This creates a frustrating situation. Staff at the club are unable to assist, corporate redirects inquiries back to the club, and online chat support offers no resolution. It's during moments like these--when a customer seeks to cancel--that a company's true character is revealed. Sadly, Title Boxing is not showing its best side.

To make matters worse, when I finally decided to cancel, I was charged for an additional month, despite all the hassle. The whole experience was unnecessarily frustrating and disappointing.

Cycling - It is challenging and fast paced but the instructors always show modifications for you to do what feels best. They have cycling shoes you can borrow for free in every class. Strength- I was initially so intimidated by the strength classes and did not know what to expect. I now go like twice a week to these classes and love to be able to see my progression each week. Once again, the instructors are so accommodating to injuries or things that just don't feel quite right. Sculpt / Yoga - These classes are so nice, it is a heated room, and it challenges my core and strength. There is plenty of street parking and other metered parking in the area for like $3/hour.

I was there way early because I wanted to change from my work clothes and the staff that were there were BEYOND helpful and friendly! The facilities were clean, coed lockers and bathrooms, with showers available. And the WORKOUT, OMG! It was a great HIIT strength training 50 minute class with upbeat music and helpful adjustments from the instructor. My body is still feeling it days later and I can't wait to book my next class. I knew from friends who attended that membership was nothing to take lightly. The first 10 weeks consisted of a challenge among attendees, with one person taking home a $1000 check. There was a weekly meal plan that was encouraged and turned in for review along with coaching on the physical exercises which were completed in 45 min workouts 6 days per week. I found the workouts challenging from the start, but always wanted to go back for more. The classes were offered at a variety of times throughout the day and members were welcome to join in with whichever time worked best for their day. After the first 10 weeks, you are considered a FIT member and are encouraged to continue to make progress towards personal goals. The owners, instructors, coaches, and fellow FIT teammates treat each other like family. There are social events, a Facebook page, and notes of encouragement that bring people together with a common purpose and keep them connected. During the current COVID 19 outbreak, our Farrell's family has been particularly interested in being of support. Tireless efforts have been put into an online format so that members can continue their hard work and progress during a period of social distancing. Resources were delivered to the door of members who ordered bags and bands to continue workouts while the gym itself was closed. It is truly a special place where everyone is welcome to get their own start at a new outlook on life, living at Level 10.
