Core is a small, very welcoming studio and can accomodate levels of practice from beginners to more advanced practice. I have been helped immeasurably to recover from more than one surgery. Personal limitations are taken into account and modifications are always available if needed. This is a very respectful atmosphere which helps to inspire continued participation.

There is a strong sense of community community at Fly Freak - students and staff both are so accepting and encouraging. I love how everybody cheers when someone does a trick for the first time! I love chair dance (shout out to Kit!), aerial yoga (all the teachers for this are phenomenal) and Sling (my go to teachers are Clara, Christy and Hayley, but I've never had a instructor I didn't like!). I also love the workshops and special events - self defense classes, guardian and kiddo classes, sound baths and my personal favorite, photo shoots! If you're looking for a new obsession or even just want to try something different, you won't regret going to Fly Freak. ​

The instructors she had were really encouraging, which made a big difference for my soft-spoken kiddo. I noticed that on days she went to class, she slept better and her overall mood improved. Since a lot of sports and physical activities for kids tend to be competitive, which isn't really her thing, Fly Freak has been a great alternative. If you're looking for a way for your child to move around that also helps with regulation, I definitely recommend giving Fly Freak a try!

Definitely beginner friendly class since we were all first timers. I feel like I did not get much of a workout this day but it was more of an intro to Pilates. No notice, no notice that even my schedule access would be revoked, there was promise of me returning once I feel better from this medical condition that I had where I couldn't even finish a 60 minute massage, and then come to find out that is no longer viable because they filled up my room and no longer have any need for any of my services anymore. Directly contradicting what was originally textually agreed to. This is severely disappointing. I see the reply from merry Beth to my comment and want to point out there was not an adequate amount of time for me being away. They did not give me 90 days per my contract and decided to fill my room and choose someone else while I was recovering without letting me know they were going to go ahead and do this. If I was unable to fulfill my contract they could have talked to me to see what we can do. And they chose to not do that and not offer me another contract. Thank you for taking the time to read. My daughter was only able to go in twice as appointments were difficult to schedule and not readily available. We called several times and finally went directly to the store. We were told the 2 special massage coupons expired and the remaining paid full price for expired 1 year after issue. The women at the front desk was not very welcoming. I had went in to see about Yoga lessons but was completely put off by the service. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

The upstairs workout area is new, between that and the downstairs area they have lots of workout machines. It's never been too busy when I've gone. Some people don't like the parking here but I've never had an issue finding a spot in the ramp so it doesn't bother me at all!
