Pure Barre is my absolute favorite! We recently moved into a new studio, and you can feel the love and care that went into it-from the fresh design to thoughtful touches like a filtered water dispenser. Sophie and Kristen are absolute rockstars, I pray they never leave! These classes have helped me get back in shape after having kids, and I honestly feel stronger than ever. Ok this is my favorite location. I've also been to the location in Chandler as they have the same owners. Chandler is great as well, but the vibe and energy is so different at this studio. The staff is very welcoming from the moment you enter and makes it a point to talk to you and connect to you. I feel like there is more of a community as this location and other class members are more outgoing and friendly. The studio is clean and well maintained. The instructors are energetic and positive. The staff cares a lot about each person, they are super welcoming from the moment you enter, throughout the workout, and the moment you leave. It may seem intimating to try something new but with the help from all the staff you walk out feeling amazing and comfortable! It's a great family like community there. *MEMBERS BEWARE OF INCORRECT CHARGES AND WATCH YOUR ACCOUNTS CLOSELY* I loved going to pure barre. The instructors are amazing and it really is a great full body workout. What made me quit was the front office staff. I've been a member at the Chandler location since 12/28/2021 and never had any issues. I called to downgrade my plan to the 4 classes a month membership in February and was told by Sophie it would be effective for March. Mid March I received emails from the PB billing department stating I had a past due invoice of ($204). I called the billing department and paid the balance since i didn't want to accrue late fees. They were able to provide a statement of my account and it showed I was a member at the Ahwatukee location since 11/1/2021. I didn't think much of it since both locations are affiliated with each other but it was odd I had a past due invoice, especially since they had my card on file. I called Purebarre chandler right after for more info on the issue but they were closed. I should've been consistent with following up but it honestly slipped my mind. I recently saw I was charged my previous plan (8 classes a month) for March and called the office. Turns out the downgrade was never made and I had two separate accounts. Tatum was able to look into the issue and somehow my name was put on someone else's account at the Ahwatukee location. Not really sure how that happened and I still haven't gotten an explanation. The $204 past due invoice I paid was for someone else's account. I was refunded for March but am still waiting on the $204 refund. I provided the front desk all the emails I have regarding the issue and haven't heard back in over a week. Now looking at the receipt for the invoice it shows my name with the other members right next to it in parentheses. Luckily my account wasn't charged twice but not really sure how a mistake this big was made. Again, still waiting on any updates, the lack of urgency is unbelievable. Just an fyi to current members, if there's any odd charges to your account, I'd definitely look into it. read more

Interestingly how this place can charge you membership fee with no signed contract. Canceling my membership on January 2nd, technically gives them 30 days notice since there are 31 days in January, yet I was told I will be billed for February too. It's just too bad there isn't 0.5 star because that's all they deserve for their inconsiderate customer service. read more

Absolutely love this studio. All the staff is extremely welcoming and you feel a part of the community right away. I love how passionate the teachers are - they're always eager to give challenges and modifications as needed. No matter what kind of day I am having, I always know I will walk out of this place happier and lighter. (Plus it's a great workout!!) read more

I'm loving the experience at Pure Barre Ahwatukee. The ladies at the front desk are always friendly and kind at check in, the instructors are strong, prepared and know their choreography well, music is great! I love that the location is new, everything is nice new and clean. The retail merchandise is displayed well and rotates quickly always giving me new items to shop. But what I love most is the community. I have friends who attend the classes and it's so fun to see them in class. I love chatting with the instructors and front desk associates. The owner did a great job during Covid19 keeping the community strong by doing Facebook live workouts. There is lots of encouragement and positive engagement on social media. I love all the contests too. I especially love the workout I'm getting. We do lots of planks, lots of core, leg, arm and booty work and I see results. I sweat like crazy in each session but never have to do crazy stuff like burpees. Highly recommend trying Pure Barre, you won't be disappointed. I signed up as a founding member and I will be a member for a very long time! read more

This place gets a zero. The owner refuses to refund my money and spews straight lies on how she doesn't know the contact for the corporate office. If the owner does not refund my money soon, this will not end. read more

The instructors are great. the management and headquarters are a disaster. I became a member sometime in 10/2019, I went to a few classes and required a carpal tunnel surgery for which I could not exercise for 12 weeks. Placing my membership on hold was an additional $15 dollars a month. Then COVID-19 hit, the studio was closed, in March I was diagnosed with a autoimmune disease and decided to cancel the membership. I ended up paying almost $200 dollars extra to cancel, they needed 30 days in advance to cancel, even with a physician's note, there were penalties involved, etc. This is NOT a place I would recommend to anyone. I have over a dozen emails training to resolve the issue without results. Poor customer services overall. read more
