This place offer aerial pilates, aerial yoga, TRX, pilates mat, pilates equipment training and more. Friendly service. Always return phone calls and are patient with explanation. The downtown location is easy to find. On the corner of Palafox and Main street. Street parking. Nice layout, have merchandise for purchase. Nice yoga wear with brands like Onzie - they have some sale items too. They had tanks, crops, pants, capris, bootie socks, headbands and more. Kinda on the pricey side for my taste if the prices on the tag were accurate. After the little store area is the 2 workout rooms, the first area had the pilates machines. 2nd room for other classes like aerial and trx. This place does have windows- I'm not sure if pedestrians can see inside or not. Nice lighting. Very clean. Large cubbies to store your items. Our TRX teacher was very patient and supportive. The class was quick but intense enough for a burn. I really like how easy the moves were to pick up. I wished we had time to warm up a little before the class but we did cool down. She played music from her phone too. I live good music with a workout. Overall, I liked the class and the place. I hope to take more classes at either location. They did have group packages and offered discounts for military, teachers, and students.

This place is located in a shopping plaza just over the bridge in downtown gulf breeze. I love, love, love the decor of the place - light grey and pastel pink accented walls. Kangoo is a fairly new cardio workout that is becoming really popular. Class started on time. The instructor named Barbara was very nice and encouraging. The kangoo shoes look like roller blades on top of some kind of spring device. The shoes are rented at $14 and the class was $10. You do have the option of buying the shoes I'd you're interested in having your own. They don't fit by regular shoe number size, they are small to large. I wear a size 11 women shoes and the large was perfect for me. They felt really comfortable. The instructor helped you get them on, and then you have about 5 mins of adjusting to wearing them. At first it felt really weird, it's al about balancing. You do have a slight bounce when you walked. Next, class begin and it was straight to the chase. The class consists of a lot of jumping, toning with leg lifts, toning with the small ball between the legs and squat pulsing, total ab workout because you need your core to stabilize yourself. We used some light weights too. You had the option to use the barre for balance and take breaks as needed. The class was 1 hr long. A definite good cardio workout. I felt the burn and got a good sweaty workout. Barbara has been using the kangoo for 5 years. There were 2 students that had been going for months and one stated she loss over 40 lbs in 6 months while taking the class twice a week. I thoroughly enjoyed the class and how challenging it was and look forward to returning and doing it again.

I started with private Pilates sessions once a week, and the difference showed up in everyday movement almost immediately. (Getting out of the car, stairs, standing on one leg to put on a sock.) After a couple of months I felt steady enough to start joining classes (mostly reformer and some mat classes), which I wouldn't have believed at the start. I've worked with several of the lead instructors and the apprentices across both, and the attention is the same either way. Even in a class, someone still knows what my hip can and can't do. Now I feel strong and sturdy, with better balance and flexibility than I had going into surgery. If you're rebuilding after a joint replacement, this is worth your time.
