Patti welcomed all the newbies by getting to know each person individually. Patti did a great job keeping her eye on every single person while gently reminding you of how to keep good form when doing each exercise. She also explained how each exercise may be modified to work with any physical limitations you may have. Patti has great comradery with her students--both new & regulars! I have a few physical challenges (shoulder, heel, back) and Coach Zak always has an effective modification and/or accommodation of a typical exercise that would otherwise be ineffective, or possibly harmful, for me to do. Coach Zak is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and studied Exercise Science in graduate school at FAU. You would think the owner/ trainer would tell me the class is 100% ladies in their 70's and older so if you want an actual Pilates workout to come to another class. NO! She just let me suffer and waist my time and money. I Did not even break a sweat. It's great these older ladies are taking Pilates class it's the owner/teachers responsibility to group students according to fitness level. I want a refund!!

She worked with me for a year getting me in the best shape I could be in for a surgery on my spine that involved surgically have two rods put along my spine from below my shoulder blades to my waist. I was physically ready for the surgery and recovered at a good pace. Once able I started backup with Maria. She works specifically on issues that each client needs addressed. I have the highest respect for Maria's vast knowledge of how the body works and how pilates has improved my overall movement and health.
