I do not recommend this location due to the major lack of communication, hidden fees, and lack of professionalism. Firstly, I'd like to say, the instructors here were very kind and seemed knowledgeable. The very few classes I attended did provide a decent workout. However, there are a few things that they fail to inform you when signing up. One class I signed up for was not included in the unlimited membership I had. I wasn't informed about this until roughly 40 minutes before my class (past the cancellation time) even though there was almost 24 for them to inform me about it. The class that was not included in the highest membership they offered me was $35. I called and informed them that I was not aware of this when I booked the class, no one ever informed me, and I won't be able to attend that day. I was told that I will be charged the $15 no show fee still, which was later refunded to me as credit to their shop. I then informed the receptionist that I would like to cancel my membership. What they don't tell you when you sign up is that they require a 30 day cancellation notice. I was not offered the opportunity to read the contract at sign up, and was told it would be emailed to me. But, I never received the email. Due to their 30 day cancellation notice, even though I never stepped foot on their property again, they still charged me for another month. $149 - the highest membership they offered me at the time of sign up. When I called to pay it the receptionist failed to take my card information completely, forgetting to ask me for the expiration date which I realized a few moments after the call. She called me back stating my card was declined and asked for me another card instead of admitting to her fault. She was very rude and as someone who works in customer service, this was a very unprofessional way to speak to someone about their money. So overall, I would not recommend this location to anyone because of the major lack of communication, hidden fees, and lack of professionalism that I experienced. read more

I am so happy that there is a Pure Barre in Melbourne. I was a previous client may moons ago in Austin and the additional variations of classes they offer now are amazing. They now have a HIIT Class which I tried out today and it was very challenging and included a lot of core focused exercises. I am excited to try all of the different classes. read more

Moved to the area from Dallas a couple years ago and had previously done Pure Barre there. This experience has been even better than back home! The instructors are so so kind and attentive! You can't go wrong with a class by Bella, Abby, Emily Anne, Erin and basically ANY of the staff! Just wonderful. Not to mention the owner of the studio, Erin, is always there which is just awesome. As someone who loved Bar Method, when I moved out here from California, I was looking for my new Barre family. I was lucky to find PBV. Since joining I've found that I like Pure Barre even better! The variety and change-up of the workouts is top notch and unrivaled. I love that it's for everyone at every stage. My mom comes to class with me when she visits and we are one two different workout levels, and we both can enjoy it together. I love taking the 'challenge options', and I love that the instructors get to know you, your goals, and your abilities individually. I could never push myself like they do, and I'm thankful for it. Speaking of the instructors, they are kind, upbeat, bubbly and will make you feel the best about yourself. They are helpful and extremely easy to communicate with. If you like Barre but have tried different options like Bar Method please try this place out. I promise you they won't disappoint! Pure Barre is not only an exceptional workout and fitness program, but an inspiring and wonderful community. The classes are great for all ages and fitness levels, including people who suffer from injury, and each exercise can be easily modified to accommodate your specific needs or fitness level. Initially I had anxiety over working out in a studio environment, but it was totally unfounded. The environment is judgment free, the instructors are helpful in a constructive way and overall there's a special camaraderie among pure barrers. I've been going for 5 months and I've been seeing great results. The staff is so amazing. It really is an amazing workout. The first week is free and that is one hard week. Pure Barre is such an amazing but challenging workout. I definitely think there is a perception that it is easy but let me assure you, you WILL get a really good workout. I think the best thing about it is low impact and it is suited for anyone despite your fitness level. You can easily modify if you have back or knee issues like me. Give it a try.
