This gym is a beige blur in a world exploding with vibrant hues. It's got the skeletal structure, the iron bones of a decent workout space, but the soul is missing. In a market shimmering with innovation, this place is clinging to the mundane like a barnacle on a forgotten hull. Wake up! The muse of movement is whispering for something more! Forget the humdrum treadmill monotony. We need an infusion of the arcane, a sprinkle of stardust on sweat! Imagine: women channeling their inner Valkyrie in a self-defense class that leaves them feeling like they could topple empires. Picture the fluid grace of Tai Chi and Chi Gong weaving through the air, not just as exercise, but as a dance with the sacred. And let's talk about reclaiming the power of the feminine with pole dancing and belly dancing, unlocking a fierce, sensual magic within the walls of LA Fitness. And yoga. Oh, the yoga. It's time to banish the mediocre and summon the gurus, the sages who can guide us to true alignment, not just a slightly deeper stretch. We nerd wisdom, not just another sun salutation led by someone bored. Then there's the iron. For the love of all things holy, where is the HEX BAR?! This isn't a niche request. It's a fundamental piece of the strength-building puzzle. Its absence speaks volumes, and none of it is good. Stop pandering to the lowest common denominator and dare to be exceptional. Offer free personal training with membership. A women's only workout night every week. Yes, you heard that right. Make members feel valued, seen, invested in. That's not about cost. It's an investment in loyalty, in results, in creating a buzz that echoes through the fitness landscape. And for the love of all things nourishing, ditch the dusty vending machine and partner with a powerhouse like 3Natives. Imagine post-workout elixirs bursting with flavor and goodness, a reward that feels like a celebration, not compromise. This gym has the potential to be a sanctuary, a powerhouse, a destination. But it has to shed its skin, embrace the extraordinary, and conjure some serious magic. Otherwise, it's destined to fade into the background noise, another forgotten space in a world that demands dazzle. The bones are there. Now, for the love of all that is fit and fabulous, breathe some life into it!

The machines are dusty, dirty and the floors are disgusting. 3 of the small wall TVs are on, so nothing to watch to keep me on the cardio machines. When I joined, I was told that I could bring my teenage son on my membership. This was perfect because I love to see my boys active, healthy and establish good habits early on. Recently, new management has been hired, Anthony Malcaus. Anthony tapped my son on the shoulder during a "set" and asked if he snuck in. He then proceeded to ask if he was using my membership, told my son he was too young to work out there and proceeded to tell my 16 year old to call me. Son calls, and Anthony gets on the phone and immediately states after I say hello, "I'm not sure what they let you get away with before, but your son needs his own membership. I tried to explain how it was when I joined. He stated, "Well that's not what's going to happen here.". I said okay given how you're talking to me, maybe I should take my business elsewhere. He told my son to get out. He's down one membership since getting hired and had he been even remotely pleasant, I'd signed my son up, but I guess he's too young for Anytime but not for Crunch...!?

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this location. Go to the Hollywood Blvd or Wickham location…read more For years, the group training rooms and daycare room have gone unused. Instead, they blast music in the personal training area to compete with the music already playing throughout the gym. When you complain, they tell you that it's a corporate policy to play the music that loud. When I contacted corporate, they said it was at the GM's discretion. The one fat personal trainer loves to pretend he owns the gym and has tried to kick people out for working out in that personal training area during sessions. Nowhere in the contract does it state that any areas are off-limits during any hours. They're also frequently out of wipes to wipe down the equipment. A solution could be for them to provide towels. Might be cheaper than buying disposable wipes. Also, they seem to not care when people leave their weights everywhere. The only reason I didn't give them 1 star is because the staff at the front are always friendly. They greet you and bid you farewell as you leave.

The LA Fitness at 4454 Hollywood Blvd in West Melbourne has seriously deteriorated and is now…read moreunacceptable due to persistent, unsanitary conditions that management consistently ignores. For months, the bathrooms have been revolting: toilets frequently overflow, sewage and filth get tracked across the locker rooms and even into the turf and workout areas, creating a clear health risk. Showers often lack hot water entirely or provide only inconsistent warmth, while the hot tub has been out of service or barely lukewarm for just as long. Members have repeatedly reported these exact issues--through the app, emails, and directly to staff--yet nothing improves. Maintenance requests sit "in progress" for nearly two months, with empty promises of fixes that never materialize. Staff seem indifferent or unresponsive, and the overall decline continues despite the membership dues we pay. Expecting basic cleanliness, reliable hot water, and a hygienic environment isn't asking too much--it's the absolute minimum any gym should provide. If you're thinking about joining this location, look elsewhere until they finally take member complaints and basic upkeep seriously. This place has gone downhill fast, and it's obvious that cleanliness and accountability aren't priorities here. Disgusted and extremely disappointed--1 star is being generous.

It literally does not make sense except as a means to get more memberships. This kind of underhanded, lying greedy practices should not be rewarded (this hurts as someone from L.A.!) Standardbearer of what amenities and services a gym should have: pool, changing rooms, saunas, cycling room, dance hall, gym, plenty of machines, and a personal training area. The staff is friendly enough and the instructors energetic and fun at what they do. Only star demerit is that it has no smoothie stand and its design is too suburban-oriented - it will ever not be absurd that people drive to the gym instead of bike and walk.
