The facility is quite large and very clean. There was order to the day and all stations were staffed with judges. There were numerous vendors and everyone was having a great time. Please forgive the length of this review but it is important to me…read more I joined this gym to build back the muscle I lost during my cancer treatment which involved surgery and six months of chemotherapy. I knew I was going to need a trainer to insure I wouldn't hurt myself trying to lift something too heavy, or fall from attempting an exercise that my extremely weak body couldn't handle. I was referred by my friend to hire Debbie Barnes to train me. I will admit that what I have endured through my cancer diagnosis and treatment was harder than anything I went through and when I started with Debbie I had a wealth of fear and reservations. We agreed to start my workout at 6:30AM on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays for 30 minutes. The gym is nice and cool with plenty of equipment. Some of it needs a little maintenence here and there but overall it's in good shape. The bathrooms are always clean and stocked with the adequate amount of soap and paper towels. There are plenty of machines, free weights, treadmills, bikes and so on. I never have to wait on a machine. One of the things that I appreciate is that everyone wipes down the machines or weights after using them to minimize the spread of germs. Debbie is extremely knowledgeable and was conscienous of my inability to do much when I first started. We began with little or no weight on the machines which was all I could tolerate. I still remember my first work out and how I thought I was going to die right their in front of everyone. It has been three months since that day and I have been as dedicated as anyone could be to working out considering my condition. What's the point of this diatribe you may ask? Good question. It is to show you that this establishment has dedicated individuals who care about what they do and where they do it. They realize that a business is more about the flesh than the paper that runs it. If you are looking for a well maintained gym with knowledgeable and caring staff, you found it!

I first went there in 2021 and recently returned. It seemed like the same cardio equipment that was "out of order" then is still out of order. Of the ellipticals that function, only four are worthwhile and one would not find these 4 in better run facilities. It needs a wholesale cleaning and upgrade in every piece of equipment. Since the owner's know they are the only game in town, there is NO SHOT of that happening. Use it for a work-out, but be prepared to be keenly underwhelmed. It's a really tired space that has so much potential to be great. The owner's are not in a rush to make it so.

I never worry about attending alone as both staff and clientele are very welcoming. In addition to the extensive range of equipment, there are multiple classes, something for everyone. Juan, at the front desk is delightful, very welcoming and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. "Body by Design" personal training sessions are my favorite. Rich is extremely knowledgeable and somehow just knows what you are capable of, and how far he can challenge you, whilst also having an awareness of your personal restrictions and adjusting the training accordingly AND, best of all, you see tangible results fairly quickly. James the other PT, works slightly differently to Rich, but still get results nevertheless. I've not actually trained one to one with him,but have watched him transform some pretty overweight, out of condition people. He's also very good with those who have physical disabilities. We have had the pleasure of visiting many Crossfit Boxes over the years and this is an old school box. Allie has been in the Crossfit business for many years and he has a depth of knowledge that is rarely seen these days. He took the time to work with us and help us develop our weaknesses and gave us some simple queues that have already made a step change in our performance. There are many Crossfit boxes to choose from, but we highly recommend this one if you're in the Cocoa, FL area.

Aqua classes are wonderful; great instructors! Tiffany, a rock star & Heather; superb instructors. One sweet aqua instructor talks the entire class; a lot for 8a.m. ! Mostly an older demographic in aqua classes. 'Pilates Mat' class is phenomenal; yet overcrowded. Protocol: You must arrive half an hour early to get a ticket for class, which is why I delayed going for a month: Class of 45 may be full when you arrive. Can you please consider adding more of these wonderful classes? It's a good issue to have; a super popular class & instructor Leah. Adding more of this class, will attract a lot more members & keep current members happy. 'Pilates reformer' is a different class, for which you pay extra, due to equipment costs, etc.
