The ladies/trainers are wonderful! I'm not sure how they remember everyone names, but they are good at it. They are very helpful and make sure you're doing your forms right. Well, what I couldn't see in the videos was how much shaking and burning these folks were experiencing. Barre workouts are REAL. You'll learn how to do these micromovements that will tone your muscles efficiently. But pay attention to your instructors. You want to make sure you get the forms right so that you don't hurt yourself and so that you're getting all the benefits. The folks at Pure Barre are very friendly and encouraging, and the facility is brightly lit with natural light and very clean. You can purchase classes one at a time, or in packages. And if you're up for it, you can go all in for their unlimited package.

It is on the second floor of the building, but they send thorough directions to you before attending your first class. Some people have been coming here for 2k+ classes - there are some real devotees here which means they must be doing something right! Classes are a little more expensive than other studios in my opinion, but you are buying into a high quality studio. Also, I felt like this was a more wide-range age demographic as far as students. While Pure Barre to me feels more like 20-something year olds, I liked that this was a more diverse age demographic.

Think twinkle lights, calm music, and sound bowls. I really appreciated the instructor who made sure everyone was comfortable and knew what to expect from the hour long sound bath experience. If I hadn't had my coffee that morning, it would've been very easy to fall asleep. She has comfortable padded mats already laid out but recommends bringing a pillow and blankets and showing up in cozy clothes. This experience was wonderful and I really hope to do it again. I've been at this location a little over 2 years now and didn't think I could love it more. They've continued to run things smoothly given the ongoing pandemic and provided a safe, welcoming and fun environment for the members. I recently got to participate in a celebration for some challenge finishers and we were blessed with the presence of the owner (who no longer lives in state) and other instructors. It was great to see them all just as proud of the finishers as the finishers themselves. Everyone from member - instructor - owner are the sweetest gals. Nobody makes you feel any less of a member than someone who is there occasionally to someone who hits major milestones. There is lots of laughing, but lots of pushing to your limits as well. There's a class and modification options for every level. You might leave a class without sweating and you might leave a class needing a wheelchair (in a good way). hehe Have I convinced you yet? I'd love to see your smiling face (once you can take off your mask) in the studio. If you visit, tell them I sent ya!

The experience kicked off in the best of ways with a very friendly welcome and tour of the space. I was really impressed by how large their building as in how many rooms and classes they were able to host at the same time. they offer a small shopping area three dressing rooms and several different weights to coordinate with different classes. My particular visit was for the hot stretch class which included intense stretching in a heated room for 30 minutes. It seemed that this was just what my body needed after a few days of spin classes. Note that if you do not have a mat, you can rent theirs for two dollars as well as towels and water bottles. I also appreciated that their first sample class was only eight dollars for new customers. Often times the $20 for a first class at other studios makes it a bit too much when you don't know what you're getting into.

When I was in Friday they were in the process of switching over to fall attire. Lots of gorgeous blouses and dresses in fall colors, florals and jewel colors with sunglasses, jewelry, booties, hats, scraves and sweaters to accessorize that new outfit. I received a warm greeting as I entered the spacious shop. Since it was my first visit the young lady explained where each size group was located from small to plus sizes, and where to find different accessories. I always enjoy a store that I can go directly to my size and not waste time. Each area was organized well and easy to shop. Love the barn door dressing rooms too. A great spot where you can build a stylist outfit head-to-toe quickly or grab a few items to update an existing piece. I look forward to returning soon to browse the new items.
