Space/location The space is on the smaller side, so it's not ideal for large groups, but it's cozy and inviting, with a few counter seats inside and some patio seating outside. Food and Drinks: The food and service are consistently good, and compared to many other cafés and patisseries, it offers excellent value for money. The hot chocolate and coffee are standout. The lady behind the machine clearly knows what they're doing, because every cup is spot on. The sandwiches can be a bit hit or miss, but our recent visits have been great. The smoked salmon croissant is served cold (they always check if that's okay), and even so, it's one of my favorites. The portobello sandwich, served warm, is also rich and full of flavor. And the cakes and pastries? Dangerous in the best way possible. The kind that keeps you coming back to North Van "just one more time." :)

It was a pleasant walk on the Spirit Trail before we found it. It was busy with customers waiting for sandwiches, pastries and beverages. We ordered a sandwich, rhubarb spritzer, a couple desserts and enjoyed every bite. The sandwich was delicious warmed up. I also picked up some bags of hot chocolate and some chocolate bars. We're really glad we found them. Great service and food. It's very popular as there were constant customers coming and going. It was off the tourist area and well worth the walk.

This is a small shop located on Bowen Island with a reputation for creating fine organic…read morechocolates. The service here is not memorable so not a spot I frequent to buy treats for myself. For me, this is a good place to shop for indulgent chocolate gifts to show your thoughtfulness and care for someone special. I am on the fence about recommending this place to chocolate lovers because chocolate preferences are highly individualistic. You need to sample and try to see if their chocolate is to your liking. I have tried their various truffle flavors and they are very good quality chocolate yet I haven't come across a favorite flavor that I would crave for. So I mostly shop for their chocolates as gifts because I do appreciate their commitment to quality organic ingredients. Their chocolates are priced higher than most and present as nice thoughtful gifts that show extra appreciation. This shop also serves gelato, which is especially popular in the summer times. Also, some may not come to shop for chocolates and actually visit for their hot chocolate drinks which is quite rich and delish.

I loved the creaminess of their hot chocolate without it being too sweet. We also bought a small box of chocolates to share and we loved the variety of chocolates that they had. Highly recommend to check this place out when you are on Bowen Island!

No windows, no window display, place is very un-welcoming if you don't know it - I assume the front door opens in the summer though. No free samples. We tried the Mango chocolate and absolutely loved it and went back the next day and got 2 variety boxes to try. Salted caramel was very strong, coconut very weak, mango 10/10, mint too weak, sake - tastes like those alcoholic chocolates, tiramisu and coffee one were 10/10, strawberry good, lemon basil could have been more lemon less basil. Overall the texture was 12/10 the best. Boyfriend is very excited to order these online from their website for tasty Christmas presents.

One of the shop owners greeted us and gave us some recommendations and we decided to try those as well as some other flavors we were eyeing. Every flavor they offer is rich but not heavy at all, with just the right amount of sweetness in each chocolate truffle bite. I didn't find any of the truffles overpowering at all, very balanced and in just the right amounts to satisfy your chocolate cravings. The sake hot chocolate reminded me of a chocolate-y amazake they serve in Japan, it was really good, I haven't been to a place that serves a hot chocolate like this, so hoping they'll have this next year as well. Will definitely be back to grab more! 〇【Menu Items Ordered & Rating Details】 ・Salted Caramel, $3.99 ・Milk Tea, $3.99 ・Earl Grey Dark Chocolate, $3.99 ・Yuzu, $3.99 ・Matcha, $3.99 ・Hojicha, $3.99 ・Sake Hot Chocolate, $4.99 (Ttl: $28.93 CAD (tax excl.)) 〇【Food/Drinks: 4.0】 ・Good variety of chocolates to select from in different forms. 〇【Service: 5.0】 ・The shop owners were in and were great with giving us recommendations. 〇【Atmosphere: 3.5】 ・Interior is decorated with chocolate goods and some educational items regarding cocoa in general. Soft white lights keep the store lit. Store is in North Vancover in a neighborhood close to the Burrard Dry Dock Pier area. In a cozy little strip with other small businesses in the area as well. It might be a little hard to find if you haven't been in the area but there's clear signs on the road that will point you to the shop. 〇【CP: 4.0】 ・Considering how delicious the chocolates are here, they're priced pretty fairly compared to other places I've been to. 〇【Misc memo】 ・NFC payments (Amex OK!) ・Street parking
