Professional service, but two major safety oversights. I have mixed feelings about my recent experience at Purdy Hyundai. I brought my 2024 Hyundai Elantra in for a 30,000-mile service (costing $1,100), but what followed was an incredibly stressful and dangerous afternoon. The Issues: Engine Failure: After leaving, my car blew a cloud of black smoke and lost power while entering the freeway in heavy semi-truck traffic. I had to limp back to the dealership with the engine shaking. It turns out a step was missed during the fuel line cleaning, leaving non-fuel residue in the lines. Undercarriage Failure: After the first "fix," I headed home again. 40 minutes into my drive, the front undercarriage cover fell halfway off and began dragging. I was stranded on a rural stretch of the freeway, 40 minutes from the dealership. The Recovery: Despite these major mechanical oversights, the staff at Purdy Hyundai were exceptionally kind and professional. When I called from the side of the road--exhausted and frustrated--they were apologetic and immediately offered a loaner and a tow. While they didn't have staff available to drive to my rural location that evening, they coordinated through Hyundai AAA to get me off the road quickly. The next morning, they replaced the damaged panel and personally drove my car out to my home (almost an hour away) to deliver it to me. Verdict: The technicians clearly made some significant errors that put me in a dangerous situation. However, the management and service advisors handled the aftermath with grace and high-level accountability. They made it right, even though the experience was a nightmare. I appreciate their kindness, but I hope their service department implements better quality control checks in the future. I thought about giving a star rating of 3, but chose 4 instead because I've taken my car here for all service needs since I bought it, and have had nothing but positive experiences. I also chose to give a score of 4 stars because of the professionalism and accountability from all staff members who helped me. My car is doing much better now, as am I. read more

This dealer ACTUALLY sells their vehicles for the price listed on their website and their prices are hard to beat. Believe me, I looked at numerous dealerships before we bothered traveling to Tulsa to buy a car. Our salesperson, Brandon Tipton, was a pleasure to work with and was upfront from the beginning. Most every dealership I looked at in TX/LA/MS/AR offered great pricing (comparable to Regional) however their advertised price included every single rebate under the sun. Basically, the other dealer's price included a military AND first responder AND recent college grad rebates. What are the odds a buyer would qualify for all three?!? And a couple even snuck in a loyalty discount or HOA President rebate. Again, why advertise a sales price that the average customer cannot take advantage unless you are dishonest? And why would anyone do business with a company that is dishonest out the gate? The paperwork did take longer than we were promised (the dealership was very busy) and it had already been a long day so that one area could be improved but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Regional or Brandon Tipton - in fact we already have! Again, I would make the out-of-state trip back to Tulsa again to spend my money with a reputable, honest dealer. read more

We own two Hyundai Venues (23 and a 25), and we were taking them to the Tulsa dealership on Memorial for service, however we had some really bad experiences at that location. I tried to get a recall done on 3 separate occasions, and each time it did not get done and the gave me multiple excuses. We decided to give PURDY Hyundai a shot in Broken Areow, and I'm so glad we did. I took my 23 Venue in for an oil change and to hopefully get the recall taken care of at the same time. They were able to do both the recall and oil change within an hour. The front desk worker was very helpful. I wish I could remember his name to drop him some love here, but he was super friendly and helpful and put me right at ease I had a cup of coffee from the fancy coffee machine in the waiting room while I wrote some Yelp reviews and next thing I knew I was back on the road again. Purdy Hyundai is now our go to dealership to take care of our Venues, and I have no doubt we will check them out for our next vehicles down the road. (Dad pun intended) read more

I received an online quote to sell my car to Purdy Hyundai. Made an appointment with a representative to have the car inspected and sell before the offer expired. When I arrived at the dealership, the person I made the appointment with was "on vacation." The person filling in immediately knocked $2300 bucks off of the online offer, not because there was anything wrong with the car, but because "that was the market value." Told the rep at that price, I'd sell elsewhere. He said it was a very aggressive offer, but he understood, but more often than not people that walk away end up coming back to sell... I ended up selling elsewhere at the negotiated, haggle free price. Would not recommend selling here. read more

The guy checking us in tells us there's now a $185 diagnostic fee for each problem. So we would be paying almost $400 before they even fixed anything. And none of that goes into the price of repairs. I went this past Sunday to look at the Santa Fe and Elantra. Both cars have been recommended by friends. I have been in the market for a hybrid and I am looking around. When I got on the lot Bill greeted me, only after asking me if I was looking to buy a car. I told him I was looking, but I wasn't going to buy the same day. I still wanted to look at a couple options. But I assured him, very clearly, but if I ended up buying a Hyundai, I would come back to him. I then told him that the cars had come highly recommended and I was very interested in seeing them All he did was open the door to one ELANTRA and one Santa Fe. He never offered a test drive. When I told him I wanted the limited version, he said "we don't have one in stock this is what we've got". I said I would be happy to order one if I liked it. He had zero interest in me since I wasn't buying the same day. All the other salesman were sitting under trees chatting. No one even bothered looking up. I ended up buying a Santa Fe with all of the bells and whistles, but I went to Oklahoma City to get it. I do not recommend regional Hyeon day at all. Unless you're ready to buy that same day, they don't seem to care that you're looking. Bonus, my son went with me to Oklahoma City and fell in love with the ELANTRA. He put a deposit on one. Purchased a new 2024 Palisade from Regional Hyundai. I took it to the dealership for the first oil change at 8,000 miles. Long story short, they failed to put oil back in the car! I didn't get a 1/4 mile from the dealership when the car died and wouldn't restart. There's no telling how much damage was done to the motor and other parts. I expect them to replace the motor or give me a new Palisade. Even if they get it running I won't accept it because there's no proof that there isn't hidden damages that could cause future problems that they won't fix. read more

I would not recommend purchasing a car from Ferguson Kia. I decided to purchase an extended warranty for my 2021 Kia Sorento only to find that they have a waiting list for a loaner car of 28 people. My car has 40,000 miles on it and the check engine light came on. Our local mechanic checked it out and said it has a bad thermostat and since those can be expensive to replace we should use our warranty. The service department can get me in after a weeks wait but no loaner car. I asked why purchase the warranty if Ferguson won't honor the warranty by supplying a loaner car? If I could give this business a negative score, I would. Eleven months ago I bought a used car from them. During the discussion on financing, my husband was clear that we did not want to buy an add on warranty or insurance. We were told they were going to fix the check engine light issue and replace a sensor and finalize the paperwork so I would need to pick up the car the next day. I had to come back alone the next day. The finance manager assured me the contracts were exactly as we agreed. He said I could sign them and then have my husband double check when he got home. Then he asked me to go to his company holiday party while handing me the contract! I was so shocked and disgusted that I signed quickly signed the papers to get out of there. Then we realized a few hours later that the finance manager added gap insurance and a warranty! We called immediately and he told us that was a mistake and it would be removed immediately. He set my payments to begin in two months to make up for the mistake. When the payments started coming thru, I noticed the payment was not what we agreed. I called the dealership and did not get any response. I caked dozens of times a month and emailed several times with no response from anyone. Finally, my husband went into the dealership and made sure he got someone to talk with. We were told the finance manager was fired for similar incidences and given papers to remove the policies. They were filled out and returned the next day. That was two months ago and my credit union has still not received anything from the dealership!! I called again and was given the run around and told I would get a return call. Still have not gotten a call. Thousands of dollars lost in eleven months and they never even replaced Ed the sensor that was in the contract! Next step is channel 2 works for you and an attorney. I would not trust these people at all. I was dealing with them for a Venue that they had on the lot. We had a deal, paper work was all but signed, had the check cut and ready to pick up the car. They sold the car to another dealership an hour before we were to pick it up. If they tell you the sun is shining, you better look before you believe them. This is not how you treat customers. Regional hyundai replaced my engine that was covered under my warranty. They left pieces unattached, 5 parts all together. There are no bolts in multiple parts. There is a bolt sticking out of my alternator. The splash guard is missing. I have multiple videos sent to me from the mechanic at another dealership in tulsa. I had to bring my car back 3 different times because you didn't have something connected, and when my waterpump was all bent down. I paid you to replace the belts and hoses and do a transmission flush and you basically stole parts off of my car and just stacked the rest back together. Walmart would have done a better job. When I went in to buy a car. I actually wanted a pick up. But was refused. They advertise letting you choose your own car but I wasn't given that option. They sold me a car that had an old battery, I had to replace it a month after I got the car. Everything on the steering wheel was shorted out. Meaning the Cruze control didn't work, the phone answering part didn't work, the volume control for the stereo didn't work. Then, knowing I'm on disability, they charged me $500 a month for this disfuntional car. When I fell behind one month, and explained that I could pay two months on my next check. But instead of working with me they towed my car. When I paid the two payments, I tried to contact them to see if I could come get my car, they wouldn't answer the phone, now would they call me back. ***READ BEFORE YOU BUY*** There were a few major flaws about this dealership that makes me question its business practices. Give me a moment to explain. It all starts with their website. They claim they have the most competitive prices in the tri-state area due to high volume sales. Their website prices also seemed as such. All their vehicles on the website will display a "Final price", usually much lower than the competitors, to reel you into their dealership. My first interaction with them was on their website. I found a really cheap, brand new car for $13,800 as that was the advertised "Final Price". I reached out after hours and got a phone call the next day (which I missed) followed by a text from Sean Capron asking me to call back. After lots of SMS messages, Sean kept giving me the stereotypical salesman speech (which you can just tell he copies and pastes to all his clients). I even asked Sean to confirm the price of the car at the $13,800 price to which he replied, "Im not at the dealership right now, but that sounds about right." I was a little nervous over his unconfident answer, but still made the 2 hour, out of state drive to buy the car. When I got there Sean seemed a little unusual. He talked really fast and would not let me talk. Every time I tried to step in to talk and ask questions he would just keep talking and talking and talking.... looking back on it I knew what he was up to. He doesn't really want you to get a word in for negotiations. He quickly steps up and talks, says what needs to be said and then walks away. He was clearly avoiding conversations. When we started paperwork, he kept giving me these numbers of my monthly payments and APR, but when I ran the numbers, the price was way to high. Every single time I asked him about the price of the car, he kept lying to me about how he didn't know. This was such a lie cause he already had finance offers from multiple banks. Also, every time I asked about the numbers seeming too high, he had a lame excuse, changed the subject and walked away. I was getting frustrated. Eventually we spoke to the finance manager. They were going to charge me $16,200 for a car that their website advertised as $13,800 when I asked about the large gap in price, I was told that the $13,800 would be the price of the vehicle if I qualified for every single discount. The website does not make this clear (see attached photo). I was also told that Sean should have told me about the REAL price before I made the 2 hour drive. Sean said he forgot to tell me, but in all honesty, I know he withheld that information on purpose. Further into the paperwork, were we're finalizing the purchase, and the price was STILL too high. I asked why and he said "Well there are other fees". I asked about 5 times for a breakdown of the fees and he could not answer me. Literally a Finance Manager could not explain what over $1000 of fees were for... The finance manager and Sean just stared back at each other while they were in the room the entire time. In a nutshell, avoid this dealership. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE BEST PRICES, they are simply fluffing number on their website to trick you into a sale. Sean Capron will not treat you right. He is a highly trained and experienced salesman who knows all the tricks in the book to avoid the conversations you need to have to make informed and well educated decisions. If I could rate no star I would. My daughter, son in law and newborn baby went to buy their very first new to them vehicle. First off this truck should have never been shown to them because it had not made it through the shop yet but the dealership made sure they signed the dotted line to get their money. The dealership agreed to replace the mirror that wasn't working and they ordered the wrong ones because they went the cheap route and ordered from eBay. Not a huge deal except they have to drive 2 hours every time to take it back to them. After that they noticed a huge antifreeze leak. Took it back again. They said nothing wrong with it, because it is absolutely normal for antifreeze to leak out in huge puddles daily. This whole time dealing with a service department that is absolutely incompetent to diagnose a vehicle properly. They have had it in twice in a month to fix a sensor in the transmission that leaves them stranded every time they drive it. Kept it for two weeks, my kids had to call and check on it and they said yea I think it's been ready for a few days. Needless to say they left with vehicle as they were closing and 20 minutes they were stranded again. This truck should have never been sold to the public. The general sales manager will not take their calls or return calls and is never available for them to talk with. Service department is the worst I have ever dealt with. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. Save yourself and go to a dealer that takes pride in what they are selling. read more

If I could give them a lower score, I would. Bought my 2018 Hyundai Tucson {with about 5500 miles} in October of '18. In the Srping of 2020, the engine went out. We had purchased an extended warranty package through Hyundai, so we began the process of getting the needed repairs, after having the vehicle towed into their dealership. It took four months. Four months of them getting the repairs approved by the Hyundai Plus warranty {they tried to place the blame on me, for what was disocvered to be a manufacturing defect}. We had our service records to prove that we did maintain the car. Once the repairs were authorized, it took a while to get the parts in and the repairs to be completed. Four months. The week afterI picked up the car, the starter went out. Once again, I had the vehicle towed in for repairs. It took another week. I decided that it was time to trade the vehicle in for something else. I was even willing to trade for another car there. The dealership wanted nothing to do with me. I tried to get copies of my receipts for the repairs, to prove to the next car dealer, where I eventually traded it, that the vehicle had a new engine, and the service guy Ray told me that he would email me those right away. Didn't happen. In fact, every communication about the car during the four months it was in repairs was initiated by me. This dealership lacks integrity. read more

Worse service I'v ever had. Bill greeted us, and we let him know I wanted to test drive a Palisade and Telluride. He told us they didn't have any Tellurides...which they did because we found it online before we went. He also told us he didn't have anything within our price range... yet we found several when we were walking around the lot. I asked to test drive one of the Palisades and he told me I could go sit in one and he would go look to see if they had any Tellurides. When I asked which one I could look at he said I don't know. One of them is unlocked and walked off "to go look if they have any Tellurides". While he was gone "looking at inventory" we found several Tellurides. He refused to let us test drive one because we were just looking to see which one we liked better and were not going to decide that day. He then told us he has other customers and when we were ready to make a purchase we could come back and test drive one. The whole reason we went to look at cars today is so I could decide what I wanted, so after my car is sold I could go buy what I want. But how am I suppose to know what I want if I can't test drive it. Definitely won't be back here and will tell everyone to stay away! read more

Not only did they want me to repeat every question that I had filled out online, they wanted me to forget the agreement document that was emailed to me. I decided not to buy from them given the unsettling nature of the call. SInce then, my phone and email has been bombed with messages. After hitting a curb during the ice storm I dropped my car here to get the front wheel suspension fixed. They diagnosed the damage and quoted me $1700 to fix, which I agreed to. They had my Palisade for two weeks and called me to pick up. After driving it about a mile it was obvious this problem was NOT rectified. I brought the vehicle back that day. Upon further inspection, they called me to inform me that another $1500 repair was needed. But because of the inconvenience they would only charge me $1300. I declined and will take my vehicle elsewhere. I'm baffled how a dealership could have missed this? At BEST, this was incompetence. It was obvious, they missed it and never drove the car after "fixing" it the first time to insure it drove correctly. Unfortunately, I've got three Hyundai vehicles in my family and could use a service dealer I can count on. This is not that place. read more

Definitely work with Tanner Tanner is an asset to Regional Hyundai. Buying a new vehicle is never a fun process. Regional is the fourth dealership that I tried negotiating with. Once I we settled on a price, I arranged for a transportation company to pick up the vehicle. I could have driven the car away, but I didn't want to put any miles on the car as this was a present for my mother. I gave Tanner the transport company's information and the pick-up went smoothly. Arrival of the car went well. Note to self, get an enclosed transport if you don't want the car arriving dirty on the outside. Other than the road dirt the car was in perfect condition with a full tank of gas. This purchase of a new car was done without me ever setting foot in the dealership. Nothing was hidden in the pricing or terms of the agreement; thank you Tanner and Zach. What stood out the most in this pleasant transaction is the politeness of Tanner. Tanner kept calling me "sir" which I'm not used to, but was nice. I will be sure to recommend working with Tanner to my friends at work. Give Tanner a salary increase. read more

I contacted the dealership Thursday morning about a vehicle, scheduled a test drive for the following day at 1PM. Let him know we'd be driving about 2 hours but we're already pre approved (for well over the asking price) so we'd be ready to go. The salesman (Zach Allen) let me know he'd have it ready for me. We get to the dealership Friday and it's sitting out front with a dent in the passenger door and the car is disgusting. He says they just got it in and haven't had a chance to detail or service it. Having known I was coming from out of town since yesterday morning but didn't have time to get any of that done but okay, I get it, things get busy. We point out the very obvious dent and he said he didn't mention via text because it was shown in the pictures on their website. (Looking now, I see it but nothing was mentioned in the listing whatsoever, but partially my fault for not looking closer at the few pictures posted). We test drive it, really like the car. Sit down, I tell him what I'm willing to pay which is obviously much less than asking because large dent. So we finally come to an agreement. He says they're going to get it detailed and serviced while I work on financing. On to financing. The dealership works with the credit union we use so we're able to do the paperwork and finish the loan there. Again, we've been pre approved for well over what we're buying it for. The finance guy (Stephen) tells us that the credit union has come back after submitting and countered with less than what we're buying it for. So at this point, I see it's an auto response from the credit union and just want to get out of there and get home and know that I can refinance with my credit union once I get the paperwork. So of course he "finds us the best offer" through their financing. We sign the paperwork. Done. I just contacted my credit union this morning inquiring about the counter offer and about refinancing once we receive the title and our loan officer immediately calls me. He tells me that he had seen where the dealership submitted the loan Friday as he was working at the time and that it got an auto counter offer. So he (our loan officer) immediatly emailed the finance officer we were working with at the dealership and told him that the loan was approved in full and they could finish it. That the finance officer flat out lied to our faces. That he had the email in front of him at 3.38PM which is the exact time we were sitting there. So the finance guy lied directly to us about financing. Back to the salesman, once the paperwork is done we walk out to where we think we're taking our car home. The salesman informs us that through the inspection, they said it needs 2 new front tires that they are unable to get today. But that they're doing us such a favor by replacing these tires. He says we can come back and get it tomorrow. So again we inform him we cannot come back tomorrow, it's a 4 hour drive and our daughters birthday party is tomorrow. So he says not a big deal, they'll get the tires and have it done in the morning and delivered directly to us. We're just trying to get home at this point. So we go to get our stuff out of my escape that we traded in, I ask him to remove my car tag from my escape to take it with me. He tells me he'll have it removed and sent with my new car tomorrow when it's delivered. Now comes Saturday. I check in that morning about delivery. No response. Check in again, get the response that he's super busy but will get back to me. Check in again, he tells me they're having issues getting the tires. Check in a few more times throughout the afternoon, no response. Finally my husband calls him. He says they can't get the tires today but can deliver it Monday. Absolutely not. We need the vehicle before Monday, which he knew on Friday. So- finally they get the tires.. but don't have anyone to deliver the vehicle today because he has to leave at 5. He goes on about how he made sure the detail was amazing and tires are great and he'll personally deliver it Monday. So finally my husband tells him he's on his way to get the vehicle now. At 6PM, on our kids birthday, he's having to go get this vehicle that was supposed to be delivered that morning. Finally get the vehicle home. It's disgusting. There's still trash from the previous owner, the dash and cupholders are disgusting with stuff stuck in them, I had to spend an hour vacuuming out dog hair and sand and cleaning it. They literally barely wiped it down and vacuumed the visible floorboards. They didn't send my tag from my escape. Didn't send the spare key. Literally nothing. I reached out to the salesman this morning with my concerns, things that were forgotten, as well as pictures of the car. No response. Reached out again, no response. I have since reached out 3 times to any type of GM, manager, anything and have gotten no response and no return call. As well as reached out to Zach once again with no response. read more

Worst Car Buying Experience Of My Life!!!! The Salesman We Had Of Whom Went On The Test Drive With Us Told Us A Story About Him Having ADHD/ADD And How The Meds Made Him So Tired So He Sold Them To Some Coworkers At A Previous Dealership And How The Guys Ate Them Up (His Words Not Mine). We Get Down To Talking About The Vehicle And We Negotiate A Price That We Can Handle. We Went And Signed All The Paperwork While Said Salesman Goes To Clean The Car Up. We Walk Out To The New Vehicle We Just Purchased To See The Tail Light Busted Out Of Which Is Not Acceptable Or Road Legal And Said Salesman Just Says Let Me Go Talk To My Manager. I Heard That Phrase A Lot Throughout This Experience As The Salesman Didn't Seem To Know A Whole Lot And Was Always Saying Well Let Me Go Ask My Manager About Everything. So He Walks Back Into The Circus Tent Of Which In Hindsight Seems Pretty Fitting For My Experience. The Manager Is On The Phone So I Wait And Once He's Off The Phone I Talk To Him About The Situation That Had Arisen Plus We Also Noticed That The Key Fob Is Missing The Key That Unlocks The Doors And The Key That Locks The Tailgate. His Response Was We Will Fix The Back Tail Light But If You Would Have Paid My Asking Price, I Would Have Gotten The Key Fixed. Needless To Say I Was Shocked At What The Manager Just Said. Who Says That???? So We Leave With The We Owe You Slip For The Back Tail Light But As We Are Going Home In This Car We Just Purchased, The Left Brake Light Is Out Along With The Two Tags Lights So The Car Is Not Road Legal When We Drove It Off The Lot. I Know When You Buy A Used Car It Is "As/Is" But You Would Think That A Reputable Dealership Would Have Checked Those Things Before They Sold It. So Now I Am Also Out $140.00 On Lights That Should Have Been Checked Before They Sold The Car And Whatever The Key Cost To Have Made Because I Didn't "Pay What They Wanted" For The Car. read more
