We purchased a 2018 Highlander here, before pulling out of the lot the check engine light came on. My husband went back in and they said they would take a look at it and fix it. They "fixed" it and we took it home and the next morning the light came back on, we took it in and they sent it across the street to the Toyota dealership for a week. Then we got it back, WITHIN 24 hours, the check engine light came back on AGAIN. Drove it back up, they sent it to Toyota for another week. Barely able to tell us what was done. Luckily we ran the code before taking it back the second time. Now, we have had it in our possession for just about 2 weeks and the check engine light came back on WITH THE SAME CODE they had never resolved and it's now having trouble starting. I would NOT recommend buying from here. Lazy work, no real fix. The light coming on before leaving the lot the first time tells me they just cleared the code before selling. Dishonest. read more

I noticed a substantial amount of paint chipping all the way down the edge of my driver's side door on the black Nissan Pathfinder Platinum that I purchased (with all the warranties) from Jackie Cooper Nissan on 3/17/23. If I could give zero stars I would. Took my car in to have e recalls fixed on February 23rd 2026. One of which was an ECM update. That was done and not a week later I get engine malfunction warnings popping up. Take it back to Jackie Cooper to be told it is the Mass Airflow Sensor that needs to be replaced and it will be $1200. I spoke with several mechanics who told me with the ECM update it will cause the Mass Airflow Sensor to malfunction due to the change caused by the ECM update. Jackie Cooper refuses to acknowledge and fix the issue. I did contact Nissan Consumer Affairs and they only spoke with Jackie Cooper Nissan mechanics. So now they are wanting $1200 to replace the Mass Airflow Sensor. This literally has been a month long process, my car has been at Jackie Cooper Nissan of Tulsa this whole time. I just don't understand how you can do business like this? I have 3 Nissans and I can assure you I will never buy another! Purchasing a car was easy considering my friend worked here at the time as a salesman. I would never come here on my own to buy a car without knowing someone. They are extremely pushy and horrible with communication. You can try to get ahold of the finance department 7 days out of the week and no one will answer or return your calls. I will never be returning to Jackie Cooper Nissan. Every time I call they are extremely nice, I give them that. Took my daughter's car in for service to update for a recall notice. Had the pleasure to meet/work with Erik who was very attentive with the recall service and a "SD" card that was needed. He was so nice I asked Erik to add an oil change while I was there. There was no hard sell on additives to the oil change and I welcomed his suggestions for services. Later met Nick, his Mgr, at checkout where both engaged in friendly banter to this out-of-towner as we settled up the final invoice which was VERY reasonable. Did a online kbb offer and they msg me to buy my car gave me a good offer when I went there they test drove it. they put my car in manual and put it in 3rd gear and drove slow so the rpm would be 5k then recorded it and came back and tried to tell me my transmission was messed up. After 2 oil changes, noticed oil on my garage floor. Took it back and they took car in to check the oil filter, drain plug and wipe down and said it might still have some drops on my garage floor, not to worry about it. Now that the car is out of warranty, Nelson Nissan found the source - timing cover gasket had failed and $1,800 to fix! I contacted Jackie Cooper Nissan 3 times about why it wasn't figured out when I was returning on what I thought were oil change related issues AND under warranty - No call back from Service Manager. Gasket failure issues on Nissans are well documented, too bad them won't surface them when under warranty. The tech should have seen this early on. Case # 46214554 read more

My wife's Rogue was informing her that her left rear tire was low. The tire pressure sensor was showing 15 and the others were at 34. We called Nissan Service at Jackie Coopers an immediately we were transferred to William. He listened and suggested bringing the vehicle in as soon as possible. Upon arrival my wife said everyone was very friendly and helpful. William got the vehicle in right away. During my wife's visit she couldn't help but notice one particular service advisor going above and beyond with the customers...Her name she believes was Melissa Rivera. Not only did she work well with the customers but also with her staff. My wife said they need to move her up to the sales floor or better yet we need to be talking to her for our business.... Within 30 minutes my wife's vehicle was diagnosed and back on the road. Come to find out the Rogue had a small nail in the sidewall. Since we had just purchased new tires a month ago it was replaced. I have driven over 200 miles round trip to see a car at Jackie Cooper Nisson. I made that 3 hours round trip 5 times. Each time the bait and switch happened. The car i wanted to see was always in service. I was told every time that there were other cars for me to look at, come over here and drive this one. I am very disappointed with their lack of professionalism, their tactics are underhanded, all they want is to mark the price up with extra junk fees, (doc fee, prep fee, detail fee, etc, each one is an extra $499.00?????When there are 4 or 5 extra fees, that can get pricey.) Bought a 2009 Infiniti G37x from them 3 years ago. Recently we got T-boned from a 16 year old driver. We got the estimates and they wanted to pay us $5200 when we still owed $6500. We thought we would be okay because back when we negotiated the payments per month, we opted for an extra $20 a month for "gap insurance" for scenarios just like this. The salesperson Bryan Gray is not trustworthy. He broke our first deal (by significantly increasing the car price without proper explanation after the deal has been made). He did not honor his word and did not give us the promised gift card (which was part of the deal) even after few reminders. Additionally, he wasted my time by trying to push a sale of the cars that haven't went through the inspection yet. With one of those cars, I waited for few days just to be told a different price. Another car was not fully ready for the test drive. Also, I was told that car is ready for a pick-up, when in fact it was not for few more hours, and I had to make additional trip and arrangements. I should have gone to another dealership, which is what I will definitely do the next time I need a car. read more

Where to begin? I love this place. Service: I've been through 3 dealerships (1 GM and 2 Nissan) - I try to be loyal when doing routine maintenance on my vehicles and JCN stands above the rest. I think what I like most about this business is that the staff are always friendly and courteous. All of my cars when serviced here have been washed and vacuumed (no extra charge). They let me know big maintenance is due (i.e, transmission flush, etc.), but they don't try to push me to get it done. Prices seem competitive. Sales: Honestly, a car will sell itself, we just need the associate to do the paperwork. I've bought 3 cars from here and each experience has been pleasant. No pressure when we were undecided and our sales person was always available when we had questions - even on Sundays. The finance guy was wonderful, he actually saved us money, which lowered the payments. Facility: Maybe because it's newer, but the interior seems bright and airy. Although I don't take advantage of it, but they offer coffee/tea, water, and snacks and fresh baked cookies for the customers (at no charge!) It's always clean, even the bathrooms. It's a good feeling when you walk into service and are greeted as if you're remembered - even though they won't know your name until they run the VIN. read more

After a bad experience with a previous dealer, I was a little nervous taking my car in at first. I had received a recall notice on my driver side airbag and had scheduled an appointment through their text service. They were able to fix the airbag and do their complimentary inspection in a little over an hour, half an hour less than the time estimation I was given initially. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I am very pleased with their service overall! Then buy a car/truck/SUV from Jackie Cooper Nissan. Charlie Rosenthal was a piece of cake to worth with, as was Eric, the finance manager. Heath made filling out the paperwork fast and easy. The car was detailed and the tank was full when it was given to me. Charlie described everything during delivery even though we'd gone over everything in the car at least twice to make absolutely certain I knew my car. They made sure I knew of all my options, but didn't pressure me at all. They let the car speak for itself and bent over backwards to make it happen. There was some haggling back and forth as is normal with car negotiations, but I was honest with them and they were honest with me. They know the correct way to do business. My only objection, if you can call it that, is that Jackie Cooper doesn't have more dealerships (of other manufacturers) in Tulsa. read more
