I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Tulsa Hyundai. My son was in a serious accident when he was younger that left him with major head trauma. As a result, he was awarded damages that were placed into a court-ordered trust. We cannot simply withdraw money from that trust whenever we want. Every request must be formally submitted to and approved by a judge, with documentation. We have only requested funds three times: once for accident-related medical bills, once for orthodontic braces, and most recently for college expenses and a vehicle. The judge approved funds for my son to purchase a car, and we were working within a strict cash budget. While waiting for the funds, we found a 2025 Hyundai Elantra SE listed on Tulsa Hyundai's website at a "Tulsa Hyundai price" of approximately $16,000, which was just below our approved budget. At no point did Jackson tell us that the advertised price only applied if we financed the vehicle. Instead, Jackson first brought us a 2019 Sonata. We looked at it, then asked again about the Elantra we had come to see. He got the keys, we test drove it, and we told him that was the vehicle we wanted. After we returned to the office and waited, Jackson came back and told us that the advertised price was only if we financed. I again explained that we were paying cash. He went to his manager, Sami, and they came back stating the price would instead be approximately $21,200. In my opinion, this is a classic bait-and-switch. Tulsa Hyundai advertised a vehicle at a price that brought us into the dealership, allowed us to test drive it, waited until after we said we wanted it, and only then disclosed that the actual cash price was thousands of dollars higher. This was not just a minor inconvenience. This involved court-approved trust funds for a young man who suffered life-altering injuries and was trying to purchase a reliable car for college. We were honest from the beginning that we were paying cash and had a strict budget. Tulsa Hyundai should have been honest from the beginning about the actual price. I would strongly caution anyone considering Tulsa Hyundai to carefully document everything, screenshot online listings, verify the VIN, and demand the full out-the-door cash price before wasting your time. WOMEN BEWARE! My son and his father went to look at a Elantra that was online. Price quoted was $19,500. When I (mother) went back to purchase car with son, the price surprisingly went to $25,000. They said it was due to trade in at $1,500 but adding that back in is still not $25,000. Finally, said they could get it down to $23,000. We left very disappointed. I hate writing bad reviews, but after what my family went through, I feel like people should be aware before coming here. To save you the stress, I could write all day about this place, but the bottom line is to be extremely careful because they will take advantage of you just to make a sale. My niece purchased a car from this dealership and drove it for almost a month. Out of nowhere, they told her she either had to return the car or bring in an additional $7,000 if she wanted to keep it. Of course she didn't have an extra $7,000 lying around, so she returned the car. Even after returning it, it took over a month for her to get her down payment back. Things escalated to the point where my brother-in-law nearly got into a physical fight with the finance manager. The finance manager even tried to provoke him by telling him to hit him to start a fight. Thankfully, my brother-in-law is a retired Army veteran and chose to walk away and handle things the right way. I personally called the general manager, who said he would take care of the issue, but after that we heard nothing. Eventually my sister filed a complaint with corporate. They did look into it, but it still took quite a while before my niece finally received her down payment back. This experience shows how desperate this dealership is to make a sale, with very little regard for their customers afterward. If you're set on buying a Hyundai, just be very careful. But if you have other dealership options, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else. The salesperson was fine, but the finance manager was by far the worst part of the experience. Since financing goes through them, that's where most of the problems came from. Overall, save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. It's simply not worth it. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I found a great deal on a used Nissan (2015 one owner with only 48K miles), so I drove from Bentonville, AR to pick up this gem. Sammy, our "salesman", told me the vehicle had been checked over and was ready for my enjoyment. This was strictly a 6 month vehicle for commuting purposes (30 mpg with AWD) while my wife relocates to her new home, so I didn't feel the need to purchase the warranty. My bad? I mean, it's a one owner Japanese vehicle with under 50K miles, so I should be good for the next 10K at least...right? Not only am I purchasing a new transmission for $6K after only FIVE HUNDRED MILES, but Sammy (my "salesman") is ghosting me. Before I told him the issue, he responded immediately. After hearing the issue, he claimed to escalate and get back to me. Buyer beware. There may be great people that work at this dealership, but my experience was "great" on the front and a gut-check on the backend. Management and/or leadership has never responded. Fair warning - don't do business with this company. Their sales team and service department are trash. They are unprofessional and clearly do not care if they put you in a situation. Communication from their service department is horrible. We dropped our car off at 9:45 a for an oil change and to check the safety sensors due to an error message that popped up. 3:30, we sent a text to check the status because we didn't hear anything. 4:30 we called because we still haven't heard anything even after we sent the text. We get a voicemail. 5:30ish we receive a text back asking if we still needed assistance. Finally they text us that the car will need to be kept overnight because they aren't sure what's going on. They didn't let us know ahead of time or ask us to approve them taking the car apart for that. Next day, we again have to reach out midday because we don't hear anything about it. This is when they tell us that they are going to need to keep the car again because they have taken it apart and have to wait on a part When asked for a loaner car because I can't be without a car. I have kids that need to get to school and we had appts the next day. The guy, James, told me he would check to see if the car was drivable and let me know. Again, crickets. I heard nothing. My husband calls and chats with the service manager who tells him she will not talk to him unless he's on her office, what? He leaves work and goes up there to be told she doesn't want to talk to him. This is beyond unprofessional. Why tell someone to come to your office to talk about the situation but then not do that? They give the car keys to my husband and we now will be taking it to another dealership even though we purchased it from this one, which was a whole other experience. They could have asked if we could be without a car and/or schedule a time to take the car apart. We were going in for an oil change and to have the errors checked. If I could give this dealership zero stars, I would. On April 16th, I purchased what I was told was "my car" -- a 2025 Hyundai Tucson. My husband and I provided every document Tulsa Hyundai requested: IDs, paystubs, insurance cards, even my business bank statements when they failed to submit the paperwork correctly. At each step, the staff reassured us everything was fine. The finance guy, Brant, even told me, "This is your car, unless your paperwork is fraudulent," which gave me false confidence. What actually followed was months of pure incompetence. The finance company repeatedly told us they couldn't get the dealership to send documents or even answer the phone. We personally called 47 times (yes, we counted), while the dealership dodged responsibility and failed to communicate. We ended up resigning contracts multiple times, and still, the dealership "forgot" to send documents. Fast forward: July 14th the finance company finally declined because, shocker, they could not get the dealership to cooperate. We returned the car July 15th. Brant promised we'd get our down payment refunded to the original account. Weeks went by, nothing. Each time we showed up in person, management (David Skinner included) had a new excuse. On August 7th, they admitted they hadn't even started the paperwork until an hour before we walked in. Finally, on August 29th, I was told we would not be getting our money back because we had the car for "three months for free." In reality, Tulsa Hyundai strung us along, mishandled our documents, wasted our time, and then blamed us for their own incompetence. Meanwhile, I walked into a different dealership, bought a brand-new Equinox with zero problems, and had financing finalized in a single day. Funny how that works when a dealership actually does its job. Bottom line: Tulsa Hyundai is unprofessional, disorganized, and completely unwilling to take accountability. They guaranteed alignment for a year and are now trying to lie and say it's been over a year because they still can't fix the VIN. Alignment is out, suspension is bad, air filters, additives, almost anything that they can try to sell you. Seems suspect for a car that has 20,000 miles. On top of that, the "free" oil changes stop at 4 oil changes. Yeah, that wasn't disclosed on purchase. Go to Purdy Hyundai in Broken Arrow or anywhere else. I'd trust a use car on Marketplace from a guy named "sketchy Steve" before believing another word from these shysters. Since I can't reply to the owners comment, I decided to update the review. First, if I have to drop hundreds of dollars on the first oil change to ensure my vehicle in "top condition" then I question the quality of Hyundai. Maybe I should write them a review. SECOND (and even more infuriating), there was no "misunderstanding" on the free oil change. We were between two Hyundai dealerships on purchasing. Dealership offered the same used car at three different prices online of $40K thru one sales assoc., then $37,500 by another sales assoc. and then even $36,889 on cars.com; We only knew of the $40,000 price and weren't aware of the lower active advertised prices at the time of our purchase, but they were and did not offer the lower price(s) to us. We immediately returned the car the next day and asked for a refund of the difference or to return the car, but no such luck. All sales final they said. Had only been 12 hours. Don't they want their customers to have a good experience buying a car from them? They sold my son a car with my ex husband as the co-signer and me as the down payment person. They said my ex and son qualified and he drove off in a car. 10 days later my son took it in for a complimentary car wash. They took the car back saying that they didn't qualify after all. They kept my $11k down payment for 20 days before they finally gave it back without any interest! I had to pull that much more out of my IRA to buy another car in the meantime and I had to pay a lot more taxes on it. Nowhere in the contract did it say they could take the car back for not qualifying! Only for non-payment. Why would they say they qualified at the time and then later say they didn't?! I bought the vehicle less than 60 days ago and have driven it less than 2,000 miles. Despite this short time and limited use, I was just informed that the vehicle requires over $3,800 in maintenance and repairs. Specifically, I was told the vehicle needs the following: New tires Brakes and rotors replacement Brake fluid flush Coolant flush Air filter and cabin air filter replacement Oil change Hood struts replacement New battery These issues are unacceptable for a vehicle sold by a reputable dealership and suggest that the vehicle was either not properly inspected prior to sale or sold in poor condition without full disclosure. I am extremely disappointed with the dishonest and disrespectful treatment I received from this dealership. When reviewing my contract with the lender, I discovered that the dealership had added a $3,500 warranty and a $1,100 gap insurance policy -- neither of which were ever discussed with me or authorized by me. In fact, I was falsely told the gap insurance was mandatory, when it is not. When I questioned this, instead of fixing the issue, I was pressured to either accept the fraudulent charges or return the vehicle. I requested that all communication remain in writing for documentation, but I was repeatedly pushed to take unrecorded phone calls instead. This type of shady practice -- adding thousands of dollars in hidden products and lying to customers about what is "mandatory" -- is unacceptable. I bought a Honda Civic type R a couple weeks ago from them. the sales guy I had was nice and easy-going. but that's it. everything else. horrible I do not recommend buying a car from this dealership. we initially addressed concern about the tires before buying the car because they looked super worn down. the salesman we had said he'd look at them but there was nothing they could do because the manager was not on duty. so he looked at them and said they were fine. (It was also late and already dark out) long story short. I went ahead bought the car because they're pretty hard to find right now and I really wanted it. well, I've already had to buy a new 400$ tire for it and the other three will need to be replaced soon as well. (I did go back after buying the car to see if there was anything they could do. and got nothing). they also failed to tell us that the car had some damage on it that we found later on after already purchasing the car. so will be having to get that fixed as well. FULL STORY. PLEASE READ: It all started on Monday, 8/14/25. I found the best deal by far for a 2025 Hyundai Elantra N, Brand New on Cargurus. I was skeptical of the price so i called them. I was put in touch with a very friendly sales woman. She said she would have to get back with me on the price. After a few she texted me and said the price was only if i met certain criteria, which i didn't. I thanked her for getting back with me and if anything changed to let me know. She then proceeded to ask what it would take to earn my business. I gave her the number that would make it worth it for me to fly down there and drive it 800+ miles back home. She then texted me shortly after and said that her manager approved the offer of $31,400 out the door and asked if i wanted to put a deposit down in order to reserve the vehicle. I texted back and asked if i could receive a call to go over the numbers. I never received a call or text that night. Tuesday, i called multiple times and could only get a hold of the receptionist. I finally received a text from the same number but this was a manager. This number was visible and accessible by bother the Sales Associate and ALL MANAGERS. They sent me the deal and the price was incorrect of $34,000. I responded that the price was incorrect. I then received another text stating "Best Offer" with an offer sheet of $33,204. I then responded that i was confused and sent a screenshot of the agreed price of $31,400 out the door. A manager, Dee, then texted me stating his best offer was $31,400 + Doc Fees and if i did not want it they would remove me from their contact list. I responded by asking for a call to verbally discuss what was going on. I called multiple times Tuesday, asking to speak with either my sales woman (who i found was off) or a manager. I never received a call. Wednesday arrives. I tried calling multiple times, again, with no one responding. Finally they responded and said they were sorry because "they thought i had a trade" even though i made it ABUNDTLY CLEAR THAT I WOULD BE FLYING DOWN THERE. HOW COULD I HAVE A TRADE IF I AM FLYING??? I called again and then a different manager, Sammy, finally called me. He made the same offer of $31,400 + Doc Fees. I told him that i had received a text from his dealership stating $31,400 OUT THE DOOR. He said they made a mistake and could not do that and that was his best deal. I told him i would need a moment to think about it. 1 hour later i texted that i would accept the offer and requested the paperwork so i could sign it. No response. Several hours later i tried calling. No one would take my call or call me back. I then responded again and asked for the link to place my deposit on the car. No response. I called several more times until they closed and again, no one would take my call. Thursday arrives and i finally hear back from my sales woman. She apologized because she had to take several days off for personal reasons but would see what was going on. I then received a text at 1:45 P.M E.T with the agreed $31,400 + Doc Fees along with a link to place a deposit. I paid the deposit, sent my drivers license, and filled out a credit app. I asked for all the paperwork to be sent so i could E-sign it so that A) I knew we had a binding and signed contract/agreement B) when i arrived there would be very little left to do. I was told that that was not an option because everything had to be signed in-person. I asked if it was safe to now purchase a plane ticket. I was told yes. I asked if it was possible to picked up from the airport and they said yes. I then booked my ticket for the next day (Friday) and sent them the flight information. I received a text back stating that all was good and i had "Tier 1 Credit". I then had to arrange and pay for someone to house sit my dog, pay someone to drive me to the airport. Friday arrives and i had to be up at 2 A.M in order to catch my flight from Cincinnati, OH, connect to Chicago O'Hare and then arrive in Tulsa. I arrived in Chicago and i received a text from my Sales Woman asking confirming my appointment and i said yes. A few minutes later she then called me and asked if i had gotten on the plane for Tulsa yet and i replied No. She said "Ok good, i am so sorry but management has decided to pull the deal. They are no longer going to honor the agreed $31,400". I then told her that i was in Chicago getting ready to board my flight to Tulsa. I told her i did not have a way to get home and that we had an agreed price, a deposit down, and was told to book the flight. She apologized. I then asked to speak to a manager to sort this out. NOT ONE MANAGER WOULD SPEAK TO ME. THEY MADE HER SPEAK TO ME. THEY TOLD HER TO TELL ME THAT THEY WOULD ONLY DO THE DEAL AT $33,200 AND IF I DIDNT ACCEPT THAT TO BUY A RETURN TICKET HOME. Asked if I could get the price online and he said yes but I wouldn't qualify for low interest. I said nevermind, He said "it's the last day of the month. Bought a truck from Tulsa Hyundai. Bought a warranty for the windshield and tires. The finance guy told me the windshield would be replaced if needed. That was a lie. Turned in a claim for the windshield. It needed replaced. Come to find out the warranty is only for repair so the claim was denied. I would not have gotten this if he would have told me the truth about the warranty. Thought I would call and cancel this. Couldn't get in touch with anyone. No one would call me back. So made a claim with the BBB. Got a call several weeks later from the GM. He said he would get it taken care of. Again it's been weeks. Have not seen a refund or heard from anyone. These people are not worth your time or money. Keep driving past this business. The ownership has terrible reviews as well as this dealership. I should have dug deeper before this purchase with these guys. Don't make the same mistake I did and keep your hard earned money away from here. They have zero problem lying to your face. They should lose their A+ from the BBB but they will just pay off the BBB is my guess. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. The salesman, Charles Maynor, was excellent. The Finance Department Director showed me the ugly side of buying a car. He tried to sell me an extended warranty without disclosing the cost. It took me three tries and finally a demand that he tell me exactly how much the loan would be. It was $8,000 more than the $21,000 sales loan. He was pushy and condescending. After I purchased the car, I contacted the dealership through their website, asking for an explanation of what the Interior and Paint Protection package actually provided. They never replied. I recently leased a car from this dealership in August and a few weeks after I had at leased it, I went to a tag agency to try and get a plate for my car and the tag agency informed me that the dealership is supposed to handle that which I did not know because I haven't leased a car before. I then got in contact with the dealership and they told me that I was wrong multiple times and so I then went back to a different tag agency, and yet again they told me the dealership needed to handle it since I didn't own the vehicle. I then became in contact with the gentleman who I went through the process of leasing the car with. He has been trying to help me resolve this as well and it is now two months later and I still have no way of registering my car. And he has told me multiple times that I will get an email soon with the paperwork I need to fill out to get my car registered and I still haven't gotten it and it has been two months since I even leased the car in the first place. The customer service representatives for the phones are extremely unprofessional and rude, and the finance department at this dealership has no idea what they're doing or talking about. By far the worst experience that I've ever experienced at a dealership. I purchase my Chevy track 2021 a year ago. I loved it made all my payments on time took it in to get worked on found out. It was my transmission got a new transmission under the warranty and picked up my car and it was worse than it was when I dropped it off gave it back to them. It took another week for them to tell me that it was my coils that need to change and wanted to charge me $1000 before I get my car back and for me to bring back the rental car immediately and I told them absolutely not. They had my car for a MONTH and didn't do crap to it but made it worse. My car was completely tore down and I wasn't even able to start it. At this point I'm over it and I did not feel safe in that car at all I asked Megan to speak with the supervisor she would not allow me to. She told me there was nobody that I can speak with besides her, which was a huge lie so I believe if I was able to speak with someone above her I don't think I'll be in this position at all and I probably would still have my Chevy trax but she decided to take actions on her behalf and that's when I decided that I no longer wanted that car anymore and wanted to be put in something different. I was at the car dealership for nine hours after being told I was only approved for one vehicle that was completely out of my price range. I felt like I had no other choice. I had no vehicle. My other car was completely torn down I couldn't even drive it off the lot. The commercial that they advertise said they will not increase the MSRP amount which they increase my MSRP amount by $5000. They sold me a 2025 Hyundai venue for 7000 dollars more than what they should have, ($28,000) value of that car is 21,000. The total cost on that car came out to be $50,000 with 13% interest when I was told I was approved for 9% they added $25,000 worth of crap that I have no idea and they could not even give me an explanation. SCAMMERSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! I demanded my correct contact and to cancel the xtra warranty Brant put on there without my consent!!!! Horrible, horrible, horrible service, and horrible people that will take advantage of women and especially women of color. I don't know how many times that I had to drive back up to the dealership to sign papers and they forgot this and they forgot that, very unprofessional and not once did I ever get an apology for the inconvenience, sorry for the mistakes, nothing, nothing at all but " I'm sorry this happened to you" " I'm sorry you feel this way" it is absolutely ridiculous and Tulsa Hyundai really really really need to be investigated because they are taking advantage of a lot of people and they did it so easily. Megan, Justin, Sammy, Devan, Brant, David, Kerri, Donna, Tabatha should pay for their horrible behavior towards me. DO NOT SHOP AT Tulsa Hyundai!!!!!!!!!! We recently purchased a 2023 Genesis G70 sport prestige. After purchasing we realized the front sensors were not working properly. Our salesman Jacob was on top of it. Within a day the service department called to schedule the work and let us know they had a loaner for us to use. Not really expecting much from a loaner it was a nice surprise to get a new Genesis G70 as a loaner. Nathaniel was our service tech and when I say going above and beyond expectations this man did it! He messaged frequently keeping me updated on our car and checking to see if we need anything. Returning the car and picking up our car was seamless and everything was done perfectly! So let me tell you, in a world full of people trying to squeeze everything out of you, this place was a blessing!!! Sales was PERFECT, Service was PERFECT!! Our new Genesis is an amazing car! What this dealership did to me was wrong. Granted, I signed the contract and paid the price I did, however, their tactics are predatory and just dishonest. In October 2022 we purchased a Tucson Limited. We traded in and were given $7,000 credit, but they added $7,995 as "Added Equipment". I paid sticker plus $1,000. What did we get for the dealer-added equipment for $7,995? * Lifetime Nitrogen in tires *Door Edge and Cup package *Lifetime Window Tint *Brake Pulse package (which doesn't work) *Engines for Life The "engine for life" package is standard with Hyundai if you let them change your oil and add BG every 8K miles for as long as you own the car. Regional Hyundai in Broken Arrow told me this little fact. As far as I'm concerned, Tulsa Hyundai is dishonest in its dealings with customers. Buyer beware. Worst experience ever.
