The Ferguson Deal - I didn't love it. I was shopping for a used 2017 GMC Sierra and had looked far and wide. I came across Ferguson Superstore in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on car gurus, and they had a Denali edition. Perfect. I called and texted Erik Wells, the salesman. I was initially put off when I was told the price was non-negotiable, as everything is negotiable in sales. After looking at other cars with more and fewer miles, the price was right where it needed to be. So no negotiation was required, so I proceeded to the dealership. It was after six, and Erik was off but had stayed late to show me the truck, which was much appreciated. After a test drive, the car was clean, had the certified guarantee, and immaculate. I decided to buy it. Chuck ran me thru the paperwork, and I was out the door. The truck ran great, and I was happy. The next day, I backed out of my parking spot. A 6 point turn, I pulled into the mall. Another 8 points turn to get in. The truck was so big; it was a truck, after all. The more I thought about it. It just wasn't for me. I didn't love it. I remembered that Erik had mentioned the Ferguson Deal. A three-day / 150-mile guarantee that I was happy. I lowered my head and called Erik and chuck and sadly told them I had made a mistake and wasn't in love with the Truck. To my surprise, they said, "come in, let's make it right. " I mentioned two other cars I was interested in, and when I arrived at the Ferguson Superstore, Erik had both cars ready for me upfront and ready to go. I drove the first one I had wanted and fell in love. I took it across the street, did some parallel parking, a few ins, and outs, and decided this was the one. Upon returning to the dealership, I gave it the walk around, confirmed it was the one, and told Erik. Chuck quickly ran me thru all the paperwork once again. And I was in and out on a busy Saturday, within an hour. I'm not a fan of dealerships and prefer not to deal with them, but honestly, after this experience, I will be back and most likely only buy the Ferguson Deal. Very unprofessional business practices, I spoke with three different people prior to moving my schedule around to come in and test drive a specific car, I was told by three different people and confirmed that I could come in and test drive the day and time that I specified, I called 40 minutes before coming to confirm that the vehicle would be ready and I would be able to test drive and was told yes, I saw the vehicle parked in the lot when I got there, I walked inside and no one was available to help, I waited an hour to be told that the vehicle was actually not available to drive and was in the service department, I walked out, and it was no longer at the spot in the lot. The only thing I would recommend to anyone looking for a car is to run far, far away from this place. We've had this oil leaking, electrical wiring malfunction, overheating within 4 days of driving it off the lot, can't get the tag because we still don't have the title, piece of shit 4 weeks today. Paid $11,000 cash for a used Buick Encore. Spent another $1,250 to get it drivable. I wouldn't trust to take it to the outskirts of Bixby & back from 91st & County Line. It's more of a 'used up' car than just a used car. I can guarantee anyone who reads this post that keeps disappearing for some reason, that the little 'oh so nice kid of 22 y/o, Aaron Morris wouldn't have put his wife and his 2 foster kids in it to run hot while the kids were in the backseat in 114* weather. But he sure didn't mind selling it to us so I could break down with my grandkids in the back seat in that kind of weather. He said he gets paid whether he sells a car or not, so what why would he give 2 shits what he puts a customer in? He knew damn well that it was pure junk but it was shined up like a new penny when it was advertised on their website. I wouldn't doubt for minute that when the title becomes available that it's not a rebuilt title! How a big dealership can do this and get away with it should be against the law. The nerve of him asking me if I checked the antifreeze within a week of buying it.. he's out of his damn mind. He's a sleazy as all the others. UNETHICAL LIARS!!! DO NOT COME HERE! I purchased 2 vehicles about 7 months ago. One of my vehicles came with ONE set of keys. I was told by the salesman, Saxxon, they had the key in the back and would get it to me soon. The next day, I called back inquiring about my second set of keys. Then, I was told to contact the manager, Will Cleveland. Well I did...he told me that I should receive a check in the mail for the key and he didn't want to lose a customer over one set of key. I waited a few months but never received them. I then called back and spoke to Will Cleveland again. He mentioned, " I thought we took care of that." He then mentioned he would give me a call. After 5 months of not receiving the key to my vehicle I realize I wasn't getting it. Additionally, when I tried to cancel my warranties (under 30 days), Lo-jack, windshield repair, stain protector and all that other crap they added, I was told by the financial guy (I don't remember his name) these were non-refundable! I pulled the back of the contract and showed him the fine print. It wasn't until then he began to issue me the refund and said it would take 6 weeks. I did get the refund eventually. Also, they took longer than the 30 days to issue me my title and registration making me pay late fees for both vehicles. Took my truck in for two issues, came back with more issues then what it went in for. I called service manager Chad, told me that it was a coincidence that i was having more problems with my truck and its my problem. I couldn't believe what he said. I was appalled to hear this. Chad said he would do a diagnosis that he invited me to be apart of he coincidently couldn't find anything wrong So I proceeded to take my truck to a different gmc dealer that stated things were wrong with $700.00 extra costs to fix. When I told him they found these things, "Oh we already looked at those issues " , proceeded to get very irritated with me (very unprofessional) kept saying it's a coincidence and nothing they will do! Usual stuff to watch for on this dealer. I went with my sister to buy a 2016 Buick SUV to make sure she wasn't ripped off. I saved her at least $700 in add Ins to the contract. Here are the tricks they used: 1. The sticker was about $22k. They started at $5000 less than that and added $250 back and called it fees. I said I didn't want her to pay the fees. They caved quickly on the fees but never reduced the asking price but noted no fees on the offer. 2. The reduction turned out to be rebates from Buick and not from them. I would have gotten them anyway. The fees showed up again on the finance papers and when caught adding them back in it was explained as a typing error in some other office. BS 3. I took off and left my sister with the finance guy and when I got back he had added $500 for a GAP agreement which "covered" her if she totaled the car during the loan if she owed more than it was worth. Geez. Not wanting to argue with the guy about his crookedness I let it ride and cancelled it a few days later am expecting a $500 refund. 4. The salesman showed us a coupon book that gave discounts for oil changes and stuff but we never got the coupon book in the papers. In the end they were not flexible on the price at all and tried to add to the contract 3 or 4 times covertly. Great car--lying sack of sh@& dealer. read more

It was time for us to get a newer mini-van for the wife. So we hit the normal sites (Autotrader and Cars.com), as we wanted a specific van, a Chrysler, in a certain trim, with certain equipment, etc... Doing a nationwide search we pulled up a handful meeting our criteria. Our first color choice (the Crystal Red Tintcoat with tan interior), none of the dealers would budge on price, even a few here in Illinois. So we found this brilliant black metallic, light tan interior, van at Ferguson GMC in Broken Arrow, OK. Did I mention we're from the Chicago area? At first we spoke to Andrew. Explained that we were willing to put money down and that we would be down that Friday, which is exactly what we did. Threw the family into the old van and pointed it southwest to Tulsa... Anyway, later in the week ANdrew contacted my Wife and informed her that he forgot he had a wedding on Friday, so Tyler would take over working with us. So on Friday, we finally get to Tulsa, go check in at the hotel, and I checked my phone. Tyler was kind enough to text me to see how our trip was going? How many sales people would do something like that. I know a few at our dealership could take a lesson there... After we checked in, we headed over to Ferguson (across the highway from the hotel), we pull in, and immediately see the van waiting up front. We got out and went and inspected it, immediately I see some faults that didn't show up in the pictures. It looked like both bumper covers had been resprayed, the front one looked like it had gone through a sand storm. SO we went in, meet Tyler (nice guy BTW), and explain our issues. He grabbed the key and we inspected inside and took it for a test drive. Upon returning, I asked if I could pull it into service and go through the van myself (being a mechanic), which they let me. Everything else was clean and spotless. So aside from the bumper covers I mentioned, it was missing the DVD remote control and only had one key fob. The sales manager worked with us some more, we agreed on price and made the deal. Since I had a check in hand from my bank, the actual process only took but a few minutes. Since we had the price reduced and the fact that they wouldn't be doing any state of Illinois titling/licensing (which I expected) all of which was already included in my check from the bank, they ended up cutting us two checks in refund. We received those by certified mail yesterday. All in all, a very pleasant buying experience, great service (Tyler especially), and even recommendations on where to get dinner by several at the dealership... Aside from the few issues we noted above, on our road trip home, we found a couple more issues... The cruise control is wonky, and the fuel level sending unit is on crack (both vans... Old and New have 20 gallon tanks). On the highway, the old one gets 23mpg the new one gets 25mpg. Yet when we stopped in Rolla, MO, she was at 1/4 tank left left in the new van and I had just under a half tank left in the old van, yet we both filled up with about 13 gallons... Also, taking it to the car wash a few days later, my daughter in the back seat took a shower... So I bet the sunroof drains are clogged or something. Anyway, it's under warranty... But again, a good experience here. read more

If you're looking for a top saleswoman, Leah is your woman!!! She will run circles around you and everyone else to get the deal done. She will work for you and check everything out over and over. I was stressed about the smoke smell in the new truck, she got it out. She had them run the ozone machine 2 different times. Then I got a lid for my truck bed, Leah checked on it and had them run the truck again through the ozone machine. I will say I tend to ask a lot of questions when I buy a vehicle and especially being a woman, I need that extra help to feel secure with my decisions and Leah was there. Even with the connections for the radio, before I left the lot she was in the truck with me going through all the bells and whistles! I can't say enough great things about her. Went to Ferguson to look at new cars and was greeted by a gentleman by the name of Eric Wells. Mr. Wells showed us the car we were looking for and we quickly bought the car. Total time was less than 4 hours and while we were waiting to sign the finance papers took the time to explain the numerous functions of the Enclave we were purchasing. Finance Manager Jared Fletcher was extremely thorough. Totally not the typical salesman or Finance Manager. Needless to say, when I am in the market again, I will seek out these two for my purchase. I made inquiries over the internet asking about 2019 Terrains. What I got was a typical dealer cutesy respond. Here was what they emailed me back, "We have three that we have reduced by $7,000." So were did they start from to reduce the price by $7,000? Why don't I come out to the dealership and check out the Terrains. I then made a phone call and was informed that two of the three had about 50,000 miles on them so they weren't new. No indication that they were used from the email. This is why people hate to deal with dealers who think that people are stupid. As a result my wife and I went to Mark Miller and BOUGHT a 2019 Terrain from them. I contacted Ferguson Superstore via internet about a pre-owned vehicle they had in stock. I received a prompt response for Christyn Gill in their internet department. I explained this would be an internet purchase as I am in an adjoining state. She then passed me on to Alberto Espitia in their Buick sales store. I then spent the next week trying to get a trade in value from Alberto on my current vehicle. Whenever I called, he was not available and it would take 2 to 3 days for him to return may calls. I called, texted and e-mailed. He did return some of my calls and left a message saying he had a price but never said what it was, never texted with a price and never e-mailed with a price. After trying for a week, I contacted one of the sales managers, Shane Ogburn, via e-mail as he had already gone home at 4:30. I was ready to forego a trade in and just purchase the vehicle outright but wanted to be reassigned to a different salesperson. It has now been four days and I have yet to hear anything from Alberto or Shane. I checked the Ferguson web site and of course the vehicle I was interested in has sold. It is disappointing I was never offered the option of placing a deposit on the vehicle to hold it while details were worked out. It is even more disappointing neither Alberto or Shane can return calls in a timely manner. We recently purchased a new truck from Ferguson GMC and I have to say it was a pretty good experience overall. It is hard to find a dealership anymore that will go out of their way to correct or resolve an issue. A very professional staff in all of the departments we delt with for the most part. We did have a couple of small issues with the vehicle (pending dropping it back off for a minor correction), but they have agreed to remedy the situation. The sales person we had was very nice at first, but got short with us at times and she never followed up with us as she promised. But, with that being said an overall good experience. They have earned my business and I would recommend them over any similar dealerships in the area. read more

Without our authorization, they opened an XM Radio account under a different name and used portions of our personal information. * We were sent to collections and Ferguson GMC allowed our personal information to be transferred with the fraudulent account to the various collection agencies calling me about what started out as a fraudulent $34.90 bill. * We demanded proof of the debt showing signatures on the opening of the account from both the debt collectors and Ferguson GMC but no one will provide it. * Worse yet is knowing that our personal information has been shared without our permission. We continue to receive mailers and other communications regarding this fraudulent identity that we did not create. * General Motor did NOT enforce any type of process regarding the handling of personal customer information and refuses to hold Ferguson GMC accountable to fix this mess. They don't want to admit we are long past just fixing it in the dealership computer. * Per Paul B. I had an awesome buying experience at Ferguson in September of 2018! However, I found out after I bought the car, that where 2 old recalls. They did take my Dodge, even though they aren't a Dodge dealership, and they gave me a loaner. I curbed checked and messed up the tire and scratched the rim a little. I was honest about the damage and took the car back. It took their service department 3 business days to even get back to me and then another 2 days to get me a quote for the damage. Now they are charging me $800 for something that I've been told by another car procession can be fixed for around $200. Also, I still don't have my vehicle back after a week and a half! I was told on Tuesday that my car needed a new backup camera and they'd call me back to let me know if it would be cover by my warranty. Just now (on Thursday) I finally got a call back and was told they just found out Wednesday evening that it would be covered. I don't appreciate being lied and taken advantage of. My daughter wanted to buy a Honda civic coupe 2016 which was posted in one of their listings. We went to check the car and talked to Caveh Adib. He recommended their in-house financing but we decided not to go through with it because the interest(13.8%) was higher than what we expected. Caveh was very disrespectful and unprofessional. I have never been insulted in my life. Instead of giving us options on some other financing, he was telling me to let my daughter decide on her own so she can stand up for herself, like he was teaching me on how to father my children!! We went there to buy a car not to be lectured on how to raise my kids! And that is not the worst part! My daughter finally found a bank that could finance her with lower interest so she decided to buy it. She went back there and got the proof of sale from Adib so she can process the loan. She got approved, however, when she was about to hand them the payment, she got a call from Adib telling her that it was already sold!!! That is so rude and very unprofessional! It was supposed to be a done deal because Adib told my daughter to process the loan. He even got her the letter to prove to the bank that my daughter will buy the car. I don't understand why he would still sell the car when our transaction is already done. Maybe because, he was trying to get a higher comission from their inhouse financing! He could've just told us in our faces so my daughter did not WASTE HER EFFORT in processing the loan!! To those who wanted to buy a car, DO NOT MAKE ANY TRANSACTION WITH CAVEH ADIB! Purchased my first GMC truck with Ferguson back in august of 2013. Great experience and very helpful salespersons. Can't say that about my most recent 2017 GMC Sierra purchase. After committing to my current truck purchase (due to the fact that my other one was wiped out by a drunk driver) it was no a pleasant experience. The overall sales staff at the GMC/Buick facility were less than attentive. Always had to "find" someone to help us even though they were fully staffed with personnel playing on their smart phones. I had to follow-up with every detail including final purchase (we waited over 45 minutes to give them a check and sign papers.....even though personnel were available). Still have to follow-up to this day about previous truck unused warrantee and a Sirius radios expiration date that is incorrect. Always get a "we'll take care of it' response on the phone.....but nothing happens. WILL NO PURCHASE ANNOTHER VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! read more

I was referred to Ferguson GMC in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma by the USAA car buying service. The employees we dealt with kept trying to push different vehicle models and would not search the lot for the specific vehicle I wanted. I found multiple models in their lot of the models I had wanted. After I was passed onto another salesman (conveniently after I had mentioned USAA had sent me) she would not contact me back. After multiple attempts to contact the dealership back I was finally given an extreme lowball offer on my trade in that was under KBB value (which the dealership claimed they used for their trade ins). I got my own instant cash offer from KBB and brought that back in. The manager claimed that a 4 inch crack in my dash lowered the value of my trade in $1500 (a piece that can taken out and replaced in minutes) and that the front/back bumper replacements on my truck also played a factor into the value of the trade in being so low. Which is one of the most ridiculous statements ever given that I bought the vehicle as it is from another GM dealership three years ago. The manager refused to comply with KBB instant cash offer that was given for that specific dealership. I'm highly disappointed with my referral and it was a waste of my time. USAA needs to seriously vet the dealerships they refer customers to. I was not given a fair shake at this establishment. I had given them a set number that I would not go over and they would only try to push one specific truck on me (which was a thousand dollars outside of my price range). The dealership claimed they had 400-500 trucks in the back lot that are not listed online and could only offer me one truck did not sit well with me. read more

I went to their website and found a car that I liked, gave them a call and got with a salesman to see what we could do, giving them all my information and then of coarse they say I'm approved and to come on up to do the paperwork and to pick up the car. Drove the car home, knowing it was a 2 hour drive there and back, had the car for 3 weeks and received a letter in the mail stating that the finance people backed out of the deal. I gave their finance guy a call to see what was going on and he explained to me that the finance company backed out, so I offered him some money to hold the car and then was going to pay the car out right and he said that would probably work. Needless to say after calling numerous times, he never once returned my calls. We took the car back and spoke with a manager and asked him if I could give him some money down to hold the car for a week and would then pay for the car outright. He told me that they couldn't do that because they would lose money on the car for that week so needless to say, the car was still on the website, for sale for 2 weeks. Within that time, I already drove to Dallas and bought the same car before they had even sold that car I was trying to get and for a better price at that.
