I am posting this only because PupTown Waterloo never responded after I gave them every opportunity to address this privately.
On November 28, 2025, I brought my 5-month-old miniature pinscher puppy, Lili, for an evaluation day. I was told the process would involve gradual, carefully monitored introductions, so I trusted she would be handled carefully. Instead, within about 90 minutes of drop-off, I received a call that she had been injured. Her rear paw was ripped open by another dog.
She required emergency vet care that day and additional follow-up treatment. The emergency visit alone was $918.04 , and my total veterinary expenses were $1,130.35, with $530.07 out of pocket after insurance, plus the $65 evaluation fee .
I did not want to leave a negative review. I wanted to give them the chance to respond and fix the situation they caused. I followed up and waited, but I never heard back from anyone there and did not even receive a refund of the initial fee .
This experience also left Lili more fearful of other dogs than she was before.
Because of both the injury and the complete lack of communication afterward, I cannot recommend PupTown Waterloo. read more
