Moose is all clean and happy!

We love this place. Our Great Pyrenees mix is not the easiest when it comes to grooming. Allison is simply the best and she has the patience of a saint. We know Moose is in great hands when we bring him to Pups-n-Suds.

The friendliest staff! The best groom my dog has ever received. We used to groom them ourselves, but since moving, we have lost our grooming shears. I am so glad that happened because I never would have found this place otherwise! We will be repeat customers. :)

I brought my filthy, bur covered pup in for a cleanup, and they returned a sleek, shiny dog. Very accommodating, caring and friendy. 10/10 recommend

I took my dog Cameron into Pups and Suds today for a full grooming. He looks amazing! Thank you! I'm sure he's feeling 100% better without all that fur.

Ive been here a few times now and have absolutely loved it! A special Thank you to Shawna today for bathing my pup on a whim towards the end of our downpour! My pup Gracey decided to roll in some doodoo as we were leaving SM dog park after swimming in the lake.... sooo gross! I was able to get her back home and inside w/o an issue or getting too wet again, plus a nap with a much better smelling dog!!

Lisa and Mike completely changed Stella and our lives for the better. I can now walk her in my neighborhood without a leash and if by chance she gets out or runs away she will come back just by calling. She is the sweetest thing and their training program is worth every penny. I highly recommend them to anyone. Plus Lisa and Mike are just wonderful people and huge dog lovers

The husband and I fostered and adopted our dog Johnny -- a Black Lab/Great Dane mix -- from the KC…read morePet Project back in December. Now, we've never had such a big dog, and it was clear from the start that Johnny had a great temperament. But, he's big, eager, and was on track to accidentally hurt us or someone else, and we definitely had some moments of "Are we sure about this?". After another frustrating morning, our dog walker told us that we really, really needed to invest in some dog training, so I pulled out the pamphlet our vet had given us and made the call. Ken was very reassuring on the phone and described the program as being all about leadership. We opted for private training, which, not gonna lie, is pricey -- $1,000. But, that comes with all the private lessons you need (we only needed four), a year's worth of follow-up (we can call any time with questions), and an initial package of materials including the training book, Gentle Leader head collar, leash, beanbags, etc. To be honest, it's not so much about training the dog as it is about training the people! Once we started consistently using the tools Ken taught us, Johnny became a happy, well-behaved dog who everyone loves. He is still excited to see people, but he doesn't jump (and on the rare occasion that he does, we have a method to quickly correct him). He knows where he belongs in the "pack" (aka us) and doesn't try to take charge. He walks nicely on a leash. We're able to take him to daycare, where he socializes well with other dogs, and doesn't go crazy when he sees other dogs on his walks. And we easily trained him out of "nuisance barking" at things like the mail delivery. Most importantly, Ken taught us a "magic word" that helps us bring Johnny back if he gets out, which, let me tell you, has come in handy. If you amortize the cost of the training over a ten-year life, that's $100 a year for a dog who is a pleasure to be around and everyone is happy to see. That seems cheap! Given where we started -- incredibly frustrated and stressed out -- and where we are now -- everybody's happy -- I can't recommend GentleDogTraining.com highly enough. Spend the money, put in the time, and get the results!

Having the flexibility to do in home sessions and Zoom calls really aided in getting our dogs the amount of training they needed in an environment they were comfortable with. Pricing was very reasonable for the great results we received out of our sessions. She is very knowledgeable, kind, understanding, and patient. She took our wallflower of a pup to a dog that can be social with guests, and our out going over stimulated pup to a confident dog that can relax during social gathering now. I couldn't recommend a better behavioral training!

Karen has a deep understanding of dog behavior, and she has a full toolkit of tips, tricks and techniques to help owners learn how to be an advocate for their dog, and how to work with and shape the behaviors of their dogs in ways that causes minimal stress to the dog while maximizing the results. Whenever we'd describe a behavior to Karen, she could quickly analyze and explain what was going on in Magnus' head. Furthermore, she would instruct us on exactly how to handle the situation in great detail, and she would follow this up with drills to ingrain the right reaction by the owner with very close attention to the fundamentals of dog-to-human communication: voice inflection, pitch and tone; body language, movement, hand placement, grip; cues to reward and commands to help enact a particular behavior. Karen even has an unending offering of tips and tricks to wear your pup out, redirect its attention, etc., even how to teach your furry friend how to disentangle itself from its leash - she taught Magnus in less than five minutes, which was pretty incredible! We think Karen is a first-rate, extraordinary dog trainer, dog handler, dog psychologist, and owner trainer, too! :) If you're in need of some help with your doggy, we highly, highly recommend Karen to you.

We filled out her questionnaire, scheduled our first in home appointment and looked forward to learning more for our puppy. Day of appointment came up and she was a no show. (Car trouble) So as I respect we all have issues from time to time. I was open to rescheduling. After being told she had no other way of getting to our home , I just chose to be patient. She wanted to wait to reschedule. Then as I reached out once more she was unresponsive for 4 days (phone isn't working). Then Covid hit. Due to personal health reasons I didn't want to invite her into our home and asked for a refund of my sons money. At least until Covid worries passed. Yes this payment for puppy training came from my 14 year old's savings. After agreeing to the refund she is magically once again unresponsive. Her phone must be acting up again because my texts and phone calls don't seem to be getting received. My son is crushed. Out more than $150 and no learning for him or his pup. Save the frustration and $. Poor business practices all the way around. Happy to update, if anything else comes of this. You know...I can hope she finds a phone that works again!?!

Unless your dog is super rowdy he/she will not get any petting, talking to, or if it is a small dog they will not pick them up. They are completely uninterested in your pet. They act like they hate dogs and their job. Your dog will be in a small play area with anywhere from 20-40 dogs, they are crammed in and they usually had just 1 staff member between TWO rooms of dogs, generally over 50-70 dogs total AND that staff member is looking at their phone or leaning over the divider wall about to fall asleep. All they do is clean up the pee and poop, that's it. One day they had so many dogs they put the daycare dogs in my dog's overnight cabin and he did not get a mid-day break back to his cabin to rest. Those dogs slept in my dog's bed and ate his food. Another day they were only open 1/2 a day, they put the boarding dogs back in their cabin at noon and never came back to feed them their dinner or anything until the next morning. My dog lost over 2 pounds (and he's only 8 pounds - he drank 2 whole bowls of water as soon as we got home - he ate so much food for the first two days back home). WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!!!
