We explained that employees had given us a specific amount to pay, but instead of calmly listening and trying to resolve the misunderstanding, Melissa repeatedly went back and forth with us and said she had reviewed the camera footage. The conversation felt unnecessarily confrontational, and we did not feel that our concerns were being taken seriously. What concerns me most is that this behavior came from the manager. Management sets the tone for customer service and the overall environment of a business. If this is how customers are treated when there is a disagreement, it raises serious concerns about the kind of atmosphere being created for both customers and staff. A manager should know how to de-escalate a situation, communicate respectfully, and work toward a solution. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with Melissa, and because of the way this was handled, I would be very hesitant to return or recommend Rough Life Grooming to others. You called and texted me numerous times after I hung up on you and you continue to harass me even on here. Seems like your ego is more important than good customer service. I will make sure to tell others not to go to your shop. Furthermore, please do not contact me again by phone, text, or any other method. I have already blocked your number, and your continued attempts to contact me are unwanted. I am documenting all calls, messages, and communications. If the unwanted contact continues, I will consider reporting the matter to Yelp, the appropriate California consumer-protection authorities, and law enforcement if warranted, and I will consider any other legal remedies available to me. When someone pays 20 dollars for a nail trim they expect you to round the nails as far as you can, not just take the sharp points off. She came back out and said she was not able to get the dewclaw because he was squirming. I am not paying you 20 bucks to do half of a job. In feeling my dogs nails, someone of them are curling which means she missed a couple. Very unprofessional. This doesn't seem like a real groomer, just a sideline and not really knowing what they are doing. I won't be back.
