We met Nadia today for the first time, she groomed the little miniature schnauzer that I recently inherited. Pippa was very matted, and it made the most sense to shave her short and grow her back out. Nadia was incredibly gentle and kind with her. Pippa can be very skittish, but she came home very relaxed after spending an hour (loved that it was so short a time!) with Nadia, and I felt very comfortable leaving the baby with her. Nadia has three dogs of her own that are there in the house, all of them as sweet as could possibly be. Pippa is usually afraid of other doggies, but she really enjoyed spending time with them, and they were very gentle with her. I found Nadia from recommendations from neighbors. She was very flexible with my schedule to get my toy poodle groomed. He's 14 years old, blind and hard of hearing. Found Nadia off yelp, and I am so glad I did. My senior dog escaped our yard and wound up in an animal shelter. When we picked him up, he was so dirty. I was looking for someone to do a cleaning the same day we picked him up. She was accommodating and so friendly over the phone. We explained that the last groomer said he was too difficult to continue grooming because of his age and loss of vision. He also gets anxious and whinny. She said her dog is similar, and she uses cbd to help him. She does the grooming in her home, which I think helped my dog not feel jittery. She offered cbd to try, and we did. I stayed with her just in case she needed help with him. She was patient, gave him kisses, and held him when he got freaked out. She is the only one we trust him with now. read more
