Fried Rice, Rice Noodles and Chicken Curry

When you first enter the property, it is surrounded by gorgeous red and gold fencing with statues. After a short ride down the gravel path you see a humble Buddhist temple with more large gold statues and a small farm on the left. This place has the most amazing energy and the people are extremely friendly. This can either be a place of worship, a spot to decompress or you might just be after the delicious food they serve on Sundays for lunch. I have been to their Sunday lunch multiple times and I'm never disappointed. It is supposed to be donation-based for the food but they seem to be charging set prices these days that the website doesn't reflect, the prices were a bit high for the cafeteria style food but man oh man are the portions large and the ingredients are fresh. They have some of the best pho soup I think I've ever had, and there are quite a few places around to get that kind of soup. Theirs is the best!

Yes. Just yes. Everything is good, but the pork soup is transcendent. Scale of 1 to 5, I give it one million stars.

Sooooo good. Everything is good, but I dream about the pork soup at night. I go here EVERY Sunday.

Don't make the same mistake we did and arrive at 12. If you do most of the selection will be sold out. Even still we chowed down on some amazing chicken fried rice, glass noodle stir fry and delightful fresh veggies spring rolls. The second we stepped out of the car it felt like we were transported to a tiny town in #thailand. Not only will your taste buds be entertained so will your eyes. Make sure you bring cash! . . #thaifood #brevardcounty #spacecoastlive #foodie #friedrice #glassnoodles

Working on Survivor I have spent many months in rural Thailand and have missed the food. Whenever I want to get something authentic I head over to the Sunday buffet. I've been many times and it's always amazing.

Prices have raised again, box went from $6 to $8 to $12 now. Still tasty and worth it thou.

Their prices have gone up from about $8 to $12 a box, use to put more food but still worth it. Soup noodle available. 4 crab rangoon or egg rolls is $3. Tasty Thai coffee or tea is $2. Usually the same choices, maybe 1 or 2 new things at most. Lots of tables. Parking is limited, only open Sundays.

I love this place! The people are always friendly and welcoming. When we arrived we were greeted by the first vendor before we opened the door. My choices were cucumber soup, curry chicken, stir fried rice, stir fried vegetables and that was the first vendor! The lady offered a combo too, a bowl of cucumber soup and a dish of rice topped with shredded chicken and a fan of cucumbers with a container of sauce that was out of this world tasty for $5.00 and the next vendor had spring rolls 3 for $2.00. The cucumber soup was delicious, I've seen recipes for it in some of my Thai cookbooks, but had never tried it. It was enough for the two of us to share for $7.00! I found kaffir lime leaves for $1.00 a bag, bought two! There were deserts at another vendor and giant bowls of beef or pork noodle soup and BBQ chicken satay with a salad and peanut sauce at another. The deserts were $1-2.00 and the noodle soups and satay were $5.00. Always a good visit and when we left we made a plant purchase at their thrift store.

    Beef noodle soup $5

This review is for their Sunday lunch open to the public 10am-2pm. It's FANTASTIC! First, you can't beat the price! Pad Thai $5, Beef or pork noodle soup $5, Spring rolls 3/$2, etc. The servings are huge! We had leftovers to bring home. The community is so nice - warm, welcoming, and friendly. BRING CASH. It's cash only, but $15-20 is more then enough to feed a family of 4. We'll definitely be back!

"Wat", no reviews? Let me fix that. This is a pretty hidden Buddhist temple, aka "Wat" that is…read moreutilized mostly by local Lao and Thai people for events and religious use. The location is very humble in a residential neighborhood located off of state road 46 in Sanford. The ground is mostly grass and unpaved with a large field/parking area. Towards the corner of the area is the actual temple with a huge bodhi tree, offering area with incense, and gilded statue likenesses of the Buddha. I've only been here for social events held during Asian new year and different food festivals. The area has minimal shade, but mostly it's very warm so bring sunglasses and sunblock for daytime events. Bring a folding chair if you plan to sit or a beach towel. The events held here are always cash only, so if your find yourself heading here for food or new year festivities, bring cash. If you don't spend all your money on food or beer, you can usually pick up some nice Lao/Thai cooking instruments or food items to go. Also the temple is always happy to accept donations for the local Monks of cash or food offerings. Be warned, there are only two bathrooms located near the temple area and the lines are long during popular festivals. Enjoy coming here for special events and it's a nice reprieve from the hectic Central Florida lifestyle. Things seem to move slower here and it's a nice place for self reflection...and the occasional serving of papaya salad.

There are interspersed gardens of palms and citrus trees with a small structure toward the east end of the property. Festivities are infrequent but seem to bring devout Thai, Lao, Cambodian practitioners from miles around. We were welcomed to cite our prays inside the temple which was beautifully adorned with offerings and Buddha statues. Buddhist temples are a sacred place for prayer and reflection. All are welcome to practice and pray within. Would like to be here when there is a festival. Please post if anyone knows a date of a celebration.
