This place is so good! The goat curry was nice and rich and delicious. The palek paneer, aloo gobi and samosas were awesome. Medium spice was perfect but my kids opted for the spicy and loved it. Tastes good but holy crap do not order anything other than butter chicken if you can't handle spicy foods. Two separate occasions now, my gf got butter chicken mild and I got something else mild... butter chicken is totally normal but the other foods (tandoori and vindaloo) were spicy enough to make my nose run and eyes water. I'm not great with spicy foods but my gf is way worse than I am so when I say I could barely handle my food and she was perfectly fine with hers, you should understand that there's a massive difference in two items that are both supposed to be mild. read more

The food is usually good here but service is not! I've ordered take out twice and both times, the guy taking my order was on his phone the whole time. The most recent time, he was just scrolling through his phone, never bothering to look up at me or anything. He'd just write down my order, go back to scrolling his phone and then write down my next order and so on. No greeting, no eye contact, no smile, nothing. My husband and I were excited to try this place. Upon arrival we felt that the surrounding and atmosphere is not very welcoming. There was a younger guy and a lady who is probably in her mid 20s behind the counter. A customer couple just starting their dinner. We sat down close to the entrance door. The table has menu ready. After couple minutes the mister from other table got up and went towards the refrigerator next to the counter and grab the spices himself. The younger guy came out and Im assuming he apologized. My hubby kinda knew what to order, so did I. The lady approached us, asked what will be our order. I sense that she is a little bit uncomfortable talking to us. We ordered 3 main dishes from the menu and a mango shake. For some reason she(the lady) and the guy behind the counter kept leaving and going to the back. 15 minutes later she brought 2 of our order but forgot to give us plates and utensils. We were half done with our food and I told my husband that I think that she also forgot the rest of our order. And I was right! To be honest, the server was very rude! The service was very unprofessional. It's a small business they are supposed to attract customers not drive them away. I was annoyed and walked towards the counter and the lady server left and went to the kitchen. The young guy told me about the rest of our order and I told him to just charge whatever she served us and he apologized. The lady did not even come out nor apologized for her mistakes. What makes it even more irritating is from the very beginning we arrived. She had this very judgmental look. Why? I don't know maybe because we are asian.
