This pumpkin patch is one of my favorite ones because of the activities, ample parking, and free admission, but I was disappointed that the sunflowers were not ready to be picked this past October. Nonetheless, it's a very family friendly place for pumpkin picking, hay ride, petting zoo and photo opportunities.

They had a corn maze and so many beautiful sunflowers ! Oh yeah and lots of pumpkins!

A pumpkin patch good for families if you don't wanna drive too far into the boonies! We came here last year and this year as well. Getting here early is key, like other pumpkin patches, otherwise you would be waiting in line. They had train ride, hayride, petting zoo with hay as feed if you wanna pay extra, sunflower fields etc. at this pumpkin patch. The prices were reasonable. The people were friendly. The patch wasn't too massive so it's manageable if you want a quick stop for photos since admission and parking was free. We had a great time here with another family. The two kiddos were chasing each other around in the sunflower fields! But if you are willing to drive farther out, the one in Valley Center is still my favorite.

We come here every year- it's just minutes away from our home in Rancho Bernardo but it feels like we have been transported to a farm out in the countryside. The kids really enjoyed the speediest and most adventurous hayride I've ever been on. It was busy but the lines moved quickly and the service was excellent. Memories have been made and the pumpkins are reasonably-priced.

We have consistently come here the past few years as it is one of the better pumpkin patches and we have always enjoyed the amount of activities that they have! We have picked sunflowers in the past and always buy pumpkins here, which are fairly priced. They have a variety of pumpkins and gourds that you can choose from! The workers here have always been friendly and parking is ample. However, we were just here yesterday and I am taking off one star since none of the sunflowers are ready to be picked yet! They had a few rows of huge (I mean HUGE, like the size of my head) sunflowers that were past their prime and many other rows of sunflowers that have not yet budded. I believe they may be ready soon though! A very family friendly and pet friendly place to visit if you are looking for some fall festivities in San Diego, but maybe wait a bit if you wish to pick the sunflowers in addition to buying pumpkins.

Been to two pumpkin patches this year and this one has better photo ops!! They also have a sunflower field you can pick flowers from. You can purchase tickets for activities such as the petting zoo, corn maze, hay ride, etc.

Had the greatest time! Everything was well organized, the workers were friendly and there were lots to do! The grandkids were happy and knocked out on the way home! We took lots of great pics and made lots of wonderful memories!

Super cute place for photo ops and pumpkin picking! My son loved the train and the hay ride. I didn't get a chance to pick any sunflowers cause my son was too occupied with running around. Definitely need to come back!

Overall a simple but fun experience. The experience of being out in the open (vs. a converted corner of an urban parking lot) made the drive from LA worth it to go check out. Pros: 1. I liked the sunflower field. It was fun to pick our own stems ($2/each). I liked that if a stem had multiple flowers on it, it still counted as one stem. 2. I liked the corn maze. It's pretty small but was better on the inside than what I first thought walking up to it. It's not really that much of a maze, but since I've been trapped at home all year due to the pandemic, this was relatively really fun to me lol (if you are with people you like). 3. There are a few haystacks with giant pumpkins where you can take pictures to your heart's content. 4. Cute farm animals to watch, esp. the goats (but we couldn't enter the enclosure). 5. They have all kinds of pumpkin sizes. If you want a freakishly big one, they have those too. Cons: 1. It's a dirt field (and parking lot) so expect to get very dusty. 2. I was hoping to see pumpkins in the patch, but there were just a few already picked and lined up. (In fairness, I went on Halloween day, so it makes sense that everything was already harvested and sold by now).

t was so much fun visiting the sunflower farm at Pumpkin Station in Rancho Bernardo. I highly recommend it if you're in the area or headed down to San Diego. I have never seen anything like it before and all the different colored sunflowers they had. Only $2 per sunflower and you get to cut them right off the stalk.

We've been coming here for years due to not wanting to make the trek to Bates Nut Farm deep in Escondido. The sunflowers are a great photo op, and the kids have a great time picking out their pumpkins. Why the 2 stars? We have fond memories of this place but now ruined since we were treated like crap this year with whoever was running the train and his counterpart. They have a bait and switch thing going on for their mini train they have on site. The coupon on their site says one free ride per customer and the guy insisted it was per family. We were still willing to pay for the other ticket since we have two kids so we walked back to the front to buy the ticket. We showed the front desk the coupon and they agreed it is per customer. When we went back to the train the guy insisted again one customer means family. Technically we came as 4 separate families so I really didn't get what the issue was and we all purchased pumpkins. I explained even the front desk person told us to just show our coupons to the train ticket person again. He then turned away and started talking crap to the other staff member in front of other customers. A lady kindly offered to have her daughters take my younger son by himself after seeing the staff treat us like this but I was fuming by this point and had to walk away before I made a scene. Fix your coupon if you don't want this to be an issue. Don't treat your customers like crap due to not making your own fine print clear. We'll be making our trips back to Bates next year. It is far but at least we won't be dealing with staff that thinks it's okay to talk crap about their customers in front of their face after their own mishap.

By far the best pumpkin station as it's actually attached to a small farm. We went last year and this year and decided to go earlier in the month. The U-pick sunflower fields were gorgeous and full, pumpkins were still on the vine and we had a blast with the hay ride, train and petting zoo. Absolutely worth your time. $4/tickets for the rides/petting zoo (1 adult free with each kid) and sunflowers are $2/stem

I Love this place, I found them on a Yelp post and decided to visit. My only mistake was visiting at around 1PM so it was hot. Enjoyed doing the corn maze, did the UPick of sunflowers which I will bring back to my office. Nice place to visit with family and friends and is only a short drive from San Diego. Sunflowers Upick is 1$ per flower which I think is a great deal. Love the pumpkin ad gourd patches. Very picturesque if you want a cute photo for the family that goes great in a frame or album.

$1 per person. It's worth a buck.

But, based on the great reviews here, in April I decided to give Be Wise a try for CSA. Initially, it took about a month to get my application processed, but after that, everything has been smooth sailing! We have an every-other-week subscription and I am always so impressed with the freshness and quality of the produce. CLEAN and CRISP spring mix, ripe peaches, the tastiest strawberries that you've ever eaten! And potatoes to die for! Yes, even something as simple as the humble potato can be a thing of glory when it is FRESH and roasted with tasty butter and herbs! Out of this world taste! I love that we can support a LOCAL family run-business, enjoy vitamin-packed ORGANIC produce and have a smaller ecological footprint than using the plastic-wrapped dead produce at the grocery store. Thanks Be Wise!

Outstanding Customer Service - Thank You, Jerry!…read more I wanted to take a moment to recognize Jerry in the Plumbing Department for providing some of the best customer service I've experienced in a very long time. We originally came in looking for help with just one item, but our list quickly turned into more than 20 different plumbing parts and supplies. Instead of simply pointing us in the right direction, Jerry took the time to personally help us find every single item we needed. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure we left with the correct parts for the job. What really stood out was that he never made us feel rushed, even though we had a long list and plenty of questions. He went above and beyond from start to finish, explaining things, making recommendations when needed, and ensuring we had everything before we checked out. That level of dedication is hard to find these days. Everyone at this Home Depot has always been helpful, but Jerry truly set the standard for what exceptional customer service should look like. Employees like him are the reason customers keep coming back. Thank you, Jerry, for your professionalism, positive attitude, and willingness to go the extra mile. We sincerely appreciate everything you did for us today. Home Depot is fortunate to have someone like you on the team, and I hope your hard work gets the recognition it deserves. Keep up the amazing work!

I am guessing that there's been some improvement in the training of staff around customer service. Staff is friendly, informed, willing to walk you to what you need, often offering some pro tips I'd you are confused about a purchase. Checkout has been eased by self-service, but with employees available if you need help with the process. No change in parking, and I think there need to be more disabled parking spaces. The garden center is one of my favorite places in the store and it is alway# well stocked. Returns are easy, and if you don't have a receipt, you get a store credit.
