No problem, I understand it's policy. I drove all the way home to get my ID and returned to the store, only to then be told that I also needed a physical card because Apple Pay wasn't accepted. To make the trip worth it, I decided to pick up the carpet cleaning solution. However, when she rang me up, she somehow rang out two when I only had one. Now I'm back at the store for the third time today, and this is where I completely ran out of patience. I was told that the payment had to be made with a credit card and that my debit card could not be accepted. WOW. If this had been clearly communicated to me during my first visit, I would have had everything I needed and could have avoided making multiple unnecessary trips to the store. I asked if I could work with someone else, and thankfully another employee was able to process the transaction using my debit card without any issue. I genuinely don't know what happened here, but the entire experience was extremely frustrating and completely unnecessary. The lack of communication and inconsistent information wasted a significant amount of my time. After this experience, I will not be returning to this location. Management really needs to look into what happened because this is not the level of customer service customers should have to deal with.

It's a three-story store with entrances to the mall. And the cool escalators that let you take your cart up or down levels with a cart-moving lane on each side of each escalator. There are also elevators but that's less exciting. Check the signs to see which level you're going to need for the products you're looking for. The most recent stop we just bought three smaller Lego sets. My wife built one of them on our way to a brunch date. On the ground level there is a Starbucks open for snacks and drinks. This store has self-checkout, too, so checking out and paying for your stuff is a breeze. There are regular registers with friendly employees to help you out otherwise. Can't go wrong. Great deals and quick service. Check this Target out when you're in Escondido.

Lowe's Appliance Delivery - The Worst Experience I've Ever Had…read more I have never dealt with anything as chaotic as trying to get a refrigerator delivered from Lowe's. Ordering the appliance was easy, but everything after that was a complete disaster. The first refrigerator arrived defective, so they had to reorder another one. The second delivery was scheduled for the next day. I waited all day, tracked my order, and saw I was stop #14. At 5:45 PM, the third‑party delivery company called and said they were 20 minutes away. Forty‑five minutes later, still nothing. I called them, and after "tracking" the driver, they told me they could not complete the delivery -- no call, no update, nothing. If I hadn't called, I would have been sitting there waiting all night. What I don't understand is why Lowe's even sells appliances if they can't manage the delivery portion. This was my sixth attempt between Home Depot and Lowe's to get a refrigerator delivered, and somehow it keeps getting worse. To make things even more frustrating, Lowe's couldn't cancel my order because the refrigerator was still "on the truck," wherever that truck was. I spoke to Jessica, who claimed she emailed the warehouse to stop the delivery and cancel the order. Turns out that never happened. Michelle then told me she had no idea what went wrong and that she could only "keep an eye on it" until the item returned to the warehouse -- only then could they issue a refund. After this entire ordeal, I will never buy appliances from Lowe's or Home Depot again. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service is unbelievable.

It's summer and my place is heating up. I am always on the lookout for ways to better insulate my…read morehome. I was looking at insulation on the Home Depot website and noticed this product. Reflective Insulation Radiant Barrier Roll At 5mm thick was the perfect thickness to place outside my hottest window. It was stiff and fit perfectly between my screen and the outside of my window. The radiant barrier insulation appears to be 3 times as thick as the aluminum window insulation I purchased from amazon.com but the reflectivity seems lower. I decided to try using them together. I added a layer of aluminum window insulation on the outside and the radiant barrier on the inside. In the summer the sun shines on the window the longest and the angle is straight on so the room is exposed from around 12pm - 7pm and it has always been the hottest room in the townhouse. I took temperature readings at 6pm which is around when that room gets the hottest.  On the left side of the window it's just glass and all the insulation is on the inside.  The insulation for the left side of the window: 165F layer 1 low-E 3 glass 113F layer 2 a layer of aluminum window insulation on the outside and the radiant barrier on the inside. 107F layer 3  1" thick foam insulation 95F layer 4 1" thick foam insulation 85F layer 5 1" thick foam insulation On the right side of the window I have the radiant barrier insulation and aluminum window insulation on the outside of the glass. 95F layer 1 a layer of aluminum window insulation on the outside and the radiant barrier on the inside. 85F layer 2 low-E 3 glass Patio 84F Bedroom 80F From my test results I have proven that insulation is much better at keeping the heat out when placed outside the glass and the radiant barrier insulation with aluminum window insulation work great. together. I was surprised to find the left window glass got up to 165F. This is due to it getting hit by a double dose of solar radiation. Normally it would just get hit by the sun once but the reflective insulation on the inside of the glass reflects the sun against it a 2nd time. Another interesting test result is I get about a 10F temperature reduction with each 1" layer of foam insulation. If the summer gets hotter I can make them room cooler by adding 1" foam insulation to the right side window. Sadly there isn't any more room on the left side for more foam insulation.
