The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I had seen so many negative reviews and almost changed my mind, but I'm glad I booked this. It was a good solution for a 1 year old birthday. Most of the kiddie play places would bore the older kids, and the older play areas would be out of the little kid's ability. Pump it Up was a nice happy medium where kids of all ages had a blast. The caterers are all familiar with this location so they show up right at the time you're allowed to set up your room. It's all very organized! Kids: they will have fun and not care at all Parents: this place is so dirty it is not even funny. The entire place needs a good scrub down. Carpets, inflatables, and most importantly the party rooms. I don't think a single employee really monitored anything over two parties I have been too. Bring water bottles for the kids. This review is in regards to purchasing Pump It Up (PIU) birthday parties. I will tell you we have held one of our LO's parties at Romp 'N Roll, so it is possible we were a little spoiled by the RNR 'just bring the cake and we'll take care of everything else' sales pitch. RNR is a TRUE 'hosted' event, IMHO. I got to kick back and enjoy, for real. YMMV. Booking at PIU was easy enough. We appreciated the information and the availability. However, the party 'facilitators' were not very enthusiastic or helpful. They provided initial instructions and then sent the children off to play for 70 minutes without any further interaction. Parents were left on patrol to attend to all needs of the kids and play safety police. And without water fountains (COVID) or having the bottled water we purchased ready in the party room, the kids were left thirsty, asking parents to dig around for cash to purchase water at the front desk. BE SURE TO BRING YOUR OWN WATER! For the party room, the facilitators put the table cloths and such on the tables, led the children to the room, handed out a slice of pizza to each child, then told parents to serve themselves and left. Parents had to open drinks, get their child extra slices, clean up any spills, etc. Due to COVID, we specifically asked that the facilitators be present in the room to hand out everything that needed to be handed out to limit the amount of touching and moving around the room that would occur. Since everyone was left to 'serve themselves', we had several uneaten pizzas as people tried to remain socially distanced in the room (10 kids/13 adults). We also had to specifically go search for a facilitator to come back to the room to hand out cupcakes. They no longer offered the photo package for $20 where staff takes photos of the party and guests for you. So, that was one more thing I had to add to my 'to do' list. We were told bring the cake and decorations and then sit back and enjoy the party while PIU takes care of everything. Nothing could be farther from the truth. PIU merely provided the venue and did the tiny bit of decorating/setup and clean up. I expected PIU to 'host' the event, including interacting with the kids on the bounce stations, enforcing safety rules, making sure the kids were all playing nicely, staying in the party room and attending to guests for the entirety of the event, serving the adults, leading the event and the birthday song, handing out cupcakes, making sure everyone had anything they needed, keeping the kids entertained and engaged, handing out goody bags, balloons, etc. Keep the party going, keep the energy up.. you know, HOSTING the party and making it FUN! I was very disappointed in the service we received. And then they asked us did we want to leave a tip for our coordinators... (insertTHATfacehere). Lastly, there was an issue with the guest count and the charges. The PIU staff claimed that we had an extra child and I had to have a parent come to the staff desk to 'prove' that we did NOT have an extra child, as the staff member wouldn't take my word for it. We were told that any water bottles that we did not open would be removed from the bill, but they were not removed and we didn't bother to go back inside to get the few dollars returned or grab the extra bottles. Just take the unopened water bottles with you when you leave. Of course, the kids had a blast.. all the 'issues' were 'adult stuff'..nothing that they noticed really, other than the lack of water to drink. It was worth it to see our LO having so much fun with their friends, but I hope this review helps keep other parent's expectations in check so they aren't as wildly disappointed as myself. IMHO, be prepared to pay $350 (10 kids + pizza/balloons/etc) AND host your own event (or bring helpers). PIU is merely an overpriced venue and NOT a 'bring a cake and kick back' party. You may still be exhausted, but the kids WILL have a blast! read more

Filthiest place that I have ever visited while still in America. The floors sound like Velcro on your feet. Children are allowed to walk thru pissy bathroom floors in their socks and then they are allowed with those same socks to get on the equipment. The employees have no pride. This location use to be amazing. Two years ago was a completely different experience. I would not recommend this location due to the lack of staff engagement. There were several bodies there, but no one seemed friendly. My son did have fun but it was not due to anything they did. I would save your money or go elsewhere. I attended my first birthday party at Pump It Up so I can now cross that off of my parenting bucketlist! As a rookie to PIU I had a very vague idea of what to expect. When we walked in there was a "receptionist" seated behind a desk. She made eye contact but did not great us. I am not sure if this is standard practice for people attending a party or not. Anyway, we were able to check ourselves in and interact with the staff who was working the party. The staff gathered the kids together and had them watch a fun video explaining all the rules they have. Once the video was over the party was officially in full swing. The kids went WILD as expected none of the kids listened to any of the rules and the staff didnt do much to enforce them as they were too busy talking to each other and looking at their phones. So we the parents were left to rescue kids who got stuck in an obstacle course and enforce the "no Sock, no jump policy". Some of the equipment was noticeably worn. The Wind Tunnel machine had broken areas along the inside which seemed a little unsafe. My kids had a great time here, what kid doesnt love inflateables?? I on the other did not. I think staff and the equipment could both use a refresh. read more

This place would be 4-stars if it was only based on the jump-rooms. They have a glow-in-the-dark room which is pretty nifty, and the kids definitely enjoyed themselves. They have a nice safety video and instruction prior to jumping (at least for the parties) and the facility is clean and well-maintained. That being said, some of the employees were a little clueless and communicating with them was incredibly tedious and difficult. Unlike other bouncy places, there is no area for parents to comfortably sit while the kids play, only bleacher-type benches in the super loud bounce rooms. Parents aren't allowed in the bouncers (understandably) but I don't exactly enjoy standing around for hours of loud music, generators, and kids' hollering without some place to sit and maybe catch up on some reading. I thought this place was sooooo adorable!! It is fairly far far far FAR away from where we live, but we were very pleased with the overall thing. We went for a birthday party and regretfully got there late, but the kids had a blast. They rotate rooms and various activities through the beginning of the party and the it ends in a private room where they are served whatever food they have. What I liked a LOT about this place versus Chuck E. Cheese, etc. was it was interactive. They played Hide-and-Seek, etc. led by the people who worked there. Definitely do not recommend having a birthday party here. I will start by saying the booking, then taking the deposit and money for the party went smooth. Upon arriving to the party for my daughter that was supposed to start at 1:30, there was nobody at the building. I had to call and let them know I had tons of stuff I needed to set up and get the cake inside. At 1:20 someone finally showed up, we got inside and rushed to set up (which was supposed to be included in our party, someone to help set up..they did not) the jumping area was more run down then other places I've been in the past but my daughter and all kids invited to the party had a great time. When we got back into the room I noticed the floors were sticky, the tables were sticky, there was food under the tables left from previous parties, and in front of the inflatable my daughter sat on to open her presents there was a gummy on the floor that had to have been there from the day before. The employee that was supposed to help cater the party barely did that. She and the gentlemen that was supposed to be enforcing the rules while the kids were jumping were both on the phone the majority of the time. I was rushing trying to get everything done in the short time they give you in the party room and really didn't want to take anytime from my daughter to go complain and have my whole family and friends get up for them to come clean the room which should have been done to begin with. I called the next day and spoke with a man named Nick, who basically told me I should have complained while the party was going on.. also that the set up wasn't included in the room I was in, which nobody disclosed that in advance. He raised his voice multiple times and argued with me for about 20 minutes before I finally just said I'm not arguing anymore, and you let me know what you can do for me since I was highly unsatisfied. Was supposed to get a call back today, I never got a call back. I would highly recommend checking reviews so something like this doesn't happen again. This place is not clean, the employees don't know what they are doing and the owner or whoever nick is, is very unprofessional and rude. Please! Save your money. read more

First time here for my 3 year old we got there on time the ladies were very polite they helped out a lot once in the venue maybe 10 minutes making sure everything was in the building the lady made sure the order was ready I know she called me and I added a glow party bubble party and extra pizza with veggie tray seems she didn't get all that as I realized later . the lady asked if she could take the few kids I had to jump what she did not tell me is that that started my daughters jump time for her party in which was not even ready all her guest Was not there. I went to set up while they jumped remind you I didn't think this was starting her jump time for the party. I sat up the whole room tables , cake tables etc finally Jake I guess he was the party coordinator he was very late seemed scared and lost like it was his first day he offered help but we were done. Once done I went to check on My babies they were not in the room I knew them to be In I was a little scared then I was told they started her bubble jump I'm like wtf her jump time started I haven't been able to go jump with her take pictures nothing with my babies as we exited I asked when did her glow party start since I missed everything else because I was setting up he stated there is no glow party What the fuck did she call me and verify this for if it wasn't added then he states there jump time is up in 5 minutes wtf almost 400 dollars for a 3 pizzas veggie tray and a room.I have a whole house and pizza hut for that needless to say once the other kids got there they couldn't jump seem they were rushing us out they kept asking you ready to sang Happy birthday my baby cake was not there I replied they kept asking finally I said go ahead I asked the front desk about it and if I could buy more time seems her attitude had changed a tad but cool I will not ever go here again I was sketchy the first time but needed somewhere she could have fun and this was not the place cute but I felt we were done a wrong with polite attitude the only reason I will.give them the stars I did is because they were nice and my child.did enjoy herself just wasn't worth all that money and we still manage to leave out before our time Was up I want my money back for that bullshit read more

First off let me start by saying that I have zero reason to complain since we didn't even pay to attend the party but I still feel the need to write a review. As far as the jumping area my kids had a blast even though it's a little run down compared to other places we have visited. The party helpers/employees sat the kids down for a safety video and after that just played on their phones in the corner/talked to each other. The girl who was the party helper did help hand out pizza and cut cake but that's it. The parents were left to enforce the safety and rules while the kids were jumping. We arrived early and nobody was even at the building at 1 pm when the party started at 1:30. The host had to call and see where they were. When we were finally let into the building it was hot and humid. The party room was DIRTY which I was shocked since it's a place for children to eat/celebrate. There was even a fruit snack on the floor which means it was there from the day before. The tables and floor were extremely sticky. There was dirt all around the edges of the room and under the tables where the cake/pizza was served. If I paid for the party I would of been extremely angry. They need to be a little more professional and deep clean their party rooms. You're paying over $300 for a party which isn't just change to some people and the room/help should be up to certain standards. read more

My baby girls 3rd Birthday. These people come into the arena during the party and ask me to come see what happened to the cake when someone dropped it. My two teir $50 cake was completely ruined. They proceed to change the story when I told them I want a discount for the price of my cake and the last half hour I missed of the party trying to get the cake unsuccessfully presentable. They tell me well we don't know for certain you didn't drop it first. Are you kidding Me? I told them to call the owner and they inform me there is nothing they can do because the owner is out of town. Last time I ever come to that place. My son was invited to a birthday party at pump it up. It was cool. Kids really enjoyed their time over there. They have a couple rooms with different inflatables and tried to keep the children busy with some additional games. We liked it. The only down I see is that while they been trying to get the kids organized switching the rooms the time run out and the party was over. Too short time to play! read more

This place sucks the service is bad and they don't stick to what the say in the beginning. When we walked in we were treated and all was well. Then the bull crap started we were kinda rushed to start the party 15 minutes early even though our guest hadn't even gotten there yet. Once inside it was pretty standard as these places ussually are but then when it was time to leave our sons gift was given to someone else and the owner manager was very reluctant to help us get it back he wasn't helpful at all and I felt that he was being very racist with his comments to me even told me to come back tomorrow to get my sons gift which would have been impossible because I had to travel back to NY the next morning (mind you we only retrieved one gift when I saw three in the basket earlier) we give 4 birthday parties a year and I can promise you this was the absolute worse we have ever had I will never go back nor will I ever recommend this place in any state anywhere they get a big fat ZERO STARS read more

My family went to Pump It Up for a kids birthday party. All of the employees were teenagers, but the service was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I both were impressed how well these "kids" handled 25 toddlers and kept everyone safe, happy, and the party on time. The jump houses are a ton of fun (I can speak from experience - haha). I would not hesitate to recommend Pump It Up. read more

This was my second time having a party there for my children's birthday party and I have to say, it was so different and incredibly disappointing than the first, that they've lost my business forever. While attempting to book the party and get further information I called and left multiple messages, none of which were returned. Time was running out so I booked and then left a message, thinking I could change things later. Not so when they don't return the call for several days until after the $100 deposit is no longer refundable. From there they informed me that if I wanted the children to eat or drink anything other than little bags of dry goods and cake I had to buy everything through their company. Irritating, but whatever, I guessed it was better than losing my deposit, so I begrudgingly ordered pizza through them. (Whatever, I'll get over it. It's got to get better right? Nope.) The largest inflatable broke and deflated on my guests within the first 10 minutes of the party. I spent $15 for PUMP IT UP employees to take pictures and got some of the worst shots of the backs of people's heads that you could ask for (Seriously, only 3 or 4 of them were of people's actual faces and we posed for one of them. The incredibly overpriced pizza was late, which isn't bad unless you only have the party room for a limited amount of time. It got there so late we had 15 minutes to do pizza and cake before we had to leave. (Yay!) The "Party Assistant" offered to play games with the kids while we waited for the pizza to get there... but never actually did. She spread chips out on the table in front of the kids, gave them the Capri-Suns, and cut and passed out 1/2 of the cake before disappearing?? It was actually kind of funny when my husband and I looked up to see she had randomly left 6 kids without cake and most of the other dried goods still in bags off to the side and no one there. I thought that was their whole deal? All I can say is that despite my efforts to stay positive they let me down at every turn and as I said before they've lost my business forever. read more

I've attended two kid parties here. The place was clean. The party room was okay. The kids had fun. It is just way too far from the city and seems to be lacking something. The staff tried to get the kids excited before entering the inflatable area but they were pretty unsuccessful. Pretty boring. But once the kids entered the room, they were pretty much free to just run and jump all over, which I guess is the point. read more
