Had my son's 1st birthday party there and it was a blast! From the time you enter to the end everything was taken care of. All I had to do was enjoy his birthday with him. They set everything up for me as well as took care of the cake cutting and serving. All the little kids and parents also had such a wonderful time. Age appropriate activities were planned as well as music. They were also very accommodating to our timing. As everyone with little kids knows you are never truly on time so they were able to add an additional 30 mins. Of course it was an additional charger, however the staff was very accommodating and we didn't feel rushed. Just wanted to thank Romp and roll & the team that made my son's 1st birthday party so memorable. Thank you, Akira, Kemiah, Amelia and Rompy! I would highly recommend to all parents to have their child's first birthday here as well! The kiddos will love it!

They've always treated me with honesty, professionalism, and respect. As the owner of Ready Set Go Co., I've worked with many production companies and event firms throughout my career, and Ampa has consistently been well organized, direct in their communication, and fair in their expectations. They value quality work and the people they hire. The management team has always been straightforward and easy to work with, and I've enjoyed collaborating with them on their projects. Based on my experience, I wouldn't hesitate to work with Ampa Events again or recommend them to others in the production and event industry.

From our first conversation, Andrew made me feel at ease. Not only is he a talented and knowledgeable event expert, but he's also fun and genuinely funny, which made the entire planning experience enjoyable and stress-free. Andrew was more than a vendor--he was a true collaborator. He listened to all my ideas, offered thoughtful insights, and helped shape every detail into something even better than I imagined. His sense of humor and positive energy kept things light, while his professionalism ensured that nothing was overlooked. I cannot say enough good things about Andrew and the Ampa team. They turned a potentially overwhelming project into a creative, joyful journey--and helped deliver an unforgettable event. Highly recommended!

What an amazing time at Muse Paintbar! Had a wonderful experience on Valentines Day Weekend…read morepainting with guided instructions. We were surprisingly able to create a masterpiece that my partner and I are super excited to display in our home. Muse has a variety of classes with different art designs to appease all style preferences! They also have a full bar with a mixture of alcoholic and non-alcoholic offerings! I ordered a yuzu pineapple limeade mocktail to sip on with my painting which was delicious! We didn't indulge in food this time but they had multiple food options from pretzel bites to boneless wings. Super excited to return and would definitely reccomend checking out some of their partner painting classes. It was so cool to work together and see our photo come together. I could see it being a fun friends night out or a cute date night.

This is one of the less demanding activities I can tolerate nowadays with a chronic illness, and it's always quite therapeutic every time. The music is awesome, but I'm at the "this grocery store is playing all my jams" age so take that as you will... But whether you make this a solo activity or go with company, the music allows you to zone out but it's not so loud that you can't hear whomever you're conversing with. I have a tendency to not follow instructions, or rather, tap into my creative uniqueness, lol. However, the instructors are very encouraging either way and support your mistakes and intentional deviations alike. The food and drinks are mediocre at best, but I appreciate that they offer snacks and 21+ sips at all. So, maybe don't arrive hungry but it's not the end of the world if you do.

I first learned about For Love of Love through a close friend who worked with and raved about…read moreLauren and Ellie. My partner and I followed suit and hired For Love of Love, working closely with Ellie one-on-one for 19 months to plan and execute our wedding, which took place this past May. It's quite literally taken me three months to write this because I've struggled to put into words the effect that Ellie and her diligent, detail-oriented effort and positive, calm, encouraging demeanor (not to mention the quality of her taste/ eye for aesthetics...) had on not only the stellar outcome of the event itself but on my partner and me as humans, with little knowledge of the wedding industry, planning the most expensive event of our lives from across state lines. As creatives ourselves, we came to Ellie with lots of ideas and artistic preferences, and she helped us to get organized and translate those ideas into reality by working tirelessly to connect us with local vendors (like Olivera Floral Design, Common House, Richmond Photobooth, various rental companies and more) within our budget who understood our aesthetic, which required that Ellie truly know us as a couple. Her knowledge of the industry and best practices is extensive, and her willingness to go above and beyond for her clients is evident. Additionally, the professionalism that we experienced throughout the planning process was bar none...even in the most testing and emotional of moments involving family--Ellie's patience, positivity, and resolve were unwavering. The bottom line, booking the For Love of Love team is the best money you'll spend. Ellie and her team kept us in the know and ahead of our timeline. On the big day, we were enabled to be hands-off so that we could be as present as possible. I daresay Ellie became more than a wedding planner to us--she supported and encouraged our individualism, made light out of dark, and shared in celebrating our wins. We refuse even to consider what the day would've been like without her and the team. If you're waiting for a sign to take the plunge and hire For Love of Love--it's right here, baby!

Calling Lauren a wedding planner is an incomplete characterization. Lauren is a visionary, stylist, and strategist who is able to both design events and execute the logistics and tactics flawlessly. My husband and I (and our families) worked with Lauren for about 15 months to plan our recent Richmond, VA wedding for 170 guests at an outdoor venue. The entire process was not only painless but fun. As a super type A person, I was not sure I'd find a planning partner who would meet my micromanaging expectations. But Lauren was incredibly organized from Day 1 (I appreciate a good folder structure and Google Doc). She also made planning FUN! I was never overwhelmed, never felt uncertain on where things stood, and always was sure that Lauren and I were on the page with everything - aesthetics, budget, etc. Fast forward to wedding day, and dozens of wedding guests who had recently planned their own events raved that Lauren was the best wedding planners they'd ever seen in action. It was all perfect. She felt like family by end, and we will truly miss working with her!! Work with Lauren. Your wedding (and arguably, marriage) will be better if you do.

Get them involved in cooking young so they can help in the kitchen later. Anyhow they made cinnamon and sugar dog shaped bones (for ppl not made for dogs). They gathered flour in a cup. Idk u gwt a huge cupful thats overflowing and to tap it three times to get air pockets out and then go across it with a knife or something similar to get rid of extra flour and get a nice evening cup of flour. They loved that and my 4 year old ended up with flour all over her pants. SHE REALLY GOT INTO IT. LOL. Then to complete the dog biscuits they rolled dough, pressed the dog shaped biscuit cookie cutter into the dough and added a few swipes of butter to coat it and added a pinch of cinnamon and sugar and since its just a,short class, they let them try samples of them they had already baked. Next station was strawberries with mascapone icing. They used a straw to push out the stem and then cut it in half and added icing. Oh man think that was the favorite station for all three of my kiddos. My 4 year old was like, "mmmm." Hehe. The other two kids inhaled it without much talking which means it was agreeable to their sometimes fussy pallets. You know how kids are if ur a parent or nanny. FUSSY. LOL. NEXT and final station was biscuit/croissant making. It was equivalent to making Pillsbury dough biscuits but way cooler. They told them ingredients used to make dough, played with flour and made a cup of flour again as before, rolled out dough again, rolled into a small crossaint, buttered it and added spices to it. If there has been time to make it they would have done something for 8 mins I think. Idk what temperature tho. They tried yet another sample. Seriously I can't rave about this place enough. Staff was amazing. The bakers/employees hired are professional to be on TV, super helpful and FUN. They have cooking classes for like $30/kid or $99 for monthly classes I think she said. Not sure of exactly details but that's what I gathered. Take your kids there, you won't regret it and your kids will love it!!!!
