This place allows you to select various pottery pieces that have already been made ranging from $15-$70+ depending on the size and complexity of the piece. That prices includes alls the necessary paint colors , brushes, etc.. needed for the entire experience. I got a dog that was $35 and after I finished painting it they said it would take about a week to be ready for pickup after they put in a kiln to finish. Overall the experience was super fun and the staff were very friendly! I cannot wait to pickup up my piece afterwards! For someone with no art experience (and bad) this was phenomenal! read more

Went here for my birthday with some friends and it was so much fun! We did the take home pottery and had a great experience. We were even allowed to come in for like an hour the next day and finish detailing with the paint pens. Definitely a fun activity with friends. Highly suggest! read more

Usually I put my comment on the best and worst. Job wise I would give this place 4*. I have received much better outcome in other places. Here I am writing about the behavior of the management and the process of glazing. We have spent 2x2 hours to paint one serving plate together. 1. When my friend and me came to pick up the tray, my friend noticed that there was an empty space in the middle without glaze, with original ceramic exposed. I would not notice it at all, thanks to my friend. When we notified, they apologized for not telling us, and told us that it was not food safe! We had to come another day to pick it up! The cost of this harassment and negligence was as $5 credit for next purchase! How generous! After insisting they agreed to CONSIDER to apply that $5 to that particular purchase. 2. Second day, with my extreme busy schedule, when I alone went to the store to pick it up, I was more careful, and I could not find the plate in the regular pick up place. When I showed the bill, they brought the tray from inside. Being cautious this time, I found that there was uneven area in the previous void space. Manager was just waiting for my reaction and immediately offered me two choices. Either leave the plate with the full money back. How about our time? Second option was to take the unevenly glazed plate with half off. I took the second deal. They assured that it would be food safe. 3. Now the climax it that, the manager blamed US for not following direction! We should have painted all over the plate! The manager said in a very rude voice that "she heard that the instructor told us to paint in the middle of the plate"! Rude and lie. Firstly, Two of us could not miss the instruction together. Second, we were very careful and following the direction and asking questions in each step. Next, it was not the plan, plan was to draw at the trim only. We asked. Next, I have kept empty area without painting before in other places and the blanc was glazed as bright as the colored. When I mentioned, she said in high voice that "that's the way we do it". If so, when we submitted our work then they should have warned us. I know this area is populated without competition. If anybody looks for one star or zero star, you will find me. Addendum: All Fired Up gave me the full refund, instead of half. Am I happy with the refund? The bitter experience remains the same. If my friend would not notice, I would take the tray back in home which was unsafe to eat. It could make many more trips to rectify the entire process with my busy schedule. read more

Had a team event here and really enjoyed it! The staff was really helpful. They gave guidance and allowed us space to socialize and connect which was much appreciated. You will need to come back and pick your pieces up when they are ready so be prepared to do that. If I had to pick something I wasn't fond of it'd be the paint. They give you really specific directions to not paint more then one coating of paint on there otherwise it could mess up the firing process of your project. It was very difficult to tell how many costs of paint I had painted. read more

The experience here was nothing short of horrendous, the employees were all very nice. But I poured my heart in this mug, and I was so excited to finally see what it looks like but when I finally show up there, it's to be found. They're looking into their manager and stuff, but I made a 30 minute drive all the way down here to try and find it for it to be gone. 0/5 will not be coming back. Take your business elsewhere, perhaps an independent place. read more

This place was AMAZING. We took our Girl Scout Troop and they had a great time. They learned the history of pottery, made their own pots, learned how to paint multiple pieces, and received a tour of the kiln and back room. If you are wanting to paint I recommend it, it you have a troop wanting to go I definitely recommend it. They hit every step to earn the pottery badge. read more

An interesting little place to explore your creative side. Stop in to mold ceramic, paint ceramic, paint glass or create your own glass. A friend and I visited for Ladies Night. As expected, parking in Short Pump was horrendous. The location was nice. Everything seemed a bit pricey and the two staff members seemed overwhelmed with the number of guests. We found ourselves waiting more than not and we even skipped asking questions because we were worried we'd spend the entire time waiting instead of painting. While the site advertised that snacks were provided, no drinks were available, not even water. The snacks were a bowl of chips and a bowl of chocolates, so don't skip dinner for it. It seemed there were lots of methods available to use, but we didn't know where they were or how to use them, there weren't any instructions and the staff was super busy, so we just grabbed paint and a brush and went for it. Even getting the paint pens from behind the counter took up to 10 minutes at a time. It also appears they have lots to do for children and some children's events. Check the website. Tip: Take your own beverages. Some people even brought wine and disposable wine glasses. IMHO, it was a fun thing to try at least once, but I won't make a habit of it unless I have money to burn and/or some basic knowledge about the processes available to be utilized. read more

Not such a great experience at All fired Up! I had 5 full point cards. There were 3 of us who wanted to each use a point card. They refused to honor separate orders. In reality we were each paying separately. Because we walked in together seemed to be an issue. Next time we will walk in separately, each with a $10.00 point card, each paying separately. Did not make sense, so I told the sales person and her response, "we are a small business and can only honor one at a time!" So, even though we were 3 separate paying customers sitting together meant we could not use 3 point cards!! Asked for a manager, she was on vacation I was told! Emailed the manager, she has not responded. Such ashamed, next time, if there is one we will enter one at a time! Bad business policy and clearly lost my sale today, I decided to not paint and just watch. Have been a customer for many years, spent much money, birthday party, camp and this ends!!~ read more

This was a GREAT experience for my American Heritage Girl troop. The employee leading our class was very informative and she was very patient with the girls and very informative walking them through a very basic pottery class as well as some ceramic work. I would recommend this place to anyone working with a scouting type group for an event, or even for badgework (which is what we were there for). They are willing to look at what you need for your requirements and make the class match those requirements. The price was $20 per participant...which is NOT a bad price for ceramics alone..and that included the instruction time as well as three projects for each girl.
