We just had our son's 7th Birthday Party here and he had an amazing time with all of his friends. It is a bit pricey - especially since we allowed siblings to come but when we did the math it was about the same amount that we would have paid to host it at home and we didn't have to deal with any set up or clean up - it was super easy. Before the party, I called to change the details of our party at least 6 or 7 times and they were always very prompt at returning phone messages and providing very detailed information. They were also very flexible when I changed details - even up to the day before. The staff on the day of the party was really outstanding. We did the pirate add on and the kids had so much fun and it broke up the free play time nicely. The food was hot and fresh when the kids sat down to eat and they took care of all of the details of setting up and serving, although adults jumped in to help occasionally as we ended up with a large group of kids. Overall I would highly recommend and thanks so much to the team for making my son's party special - he loved it! read more

We celebrated my 5-year old daughter's birthday here and everyone, including the adults had a blast. Time flew by, but the kids were exhausted by the time we got to the party room. Yesterday, February 15, 2015, I took my eight year old grandson and his buddy to Pump It Up in Concord, not for the first time. I noticed the entire time we were there that the very young three "assistants" employed by Pump It Up to keep an eye on the kids were in a tight little knot against the wall engaged in girl-chat, not watching out for safety infractions in the facility whatsoever. My grandson was in a bouncy-house right behind the bench I was sitting on. I couldn't hear him due to the very loud music and children shouting over the music. My back was to the bouncy house (an ordinarily safe place for my grandson to be with his friend). He came running out in tears as TWO OLDER boys had cornered him and from two feet away were slamming kick balls into his FACE repeatedly, enjoying the pain they were inflicting on a younger child. He was finally able to break free and come to me for help. His face was very red and he was in a great deal of pain, crying big time. He pointed out to me the two kids involved. I was able to yell at one of them, but the other one was too far away. FINALLY, one of the assistants saw me yelling at the other kid, trying to get his attention, and my grandson crying so she asked me what was going on. I told her what those two bullies had intentionally done to a child much younger than them (basically ganged upon him), and I WANTED them ejected from the facility. You DO NOT behave like that and be allowed to remain in the facility. I was advised that no, the children would be asked to come to my grandson to "apologize" and they would be told to stay on the other side of the room from my grandson. Another assistant brought some ice to apply to my grandson's face. Both boys came over to give my grandson a quick and very insincere apology. Big whoopee. Nor were their PARENTS informed of their behavior by the staff. I don't know WHERE their parents were during this entire event. There should be a sign at the cash register which states any child who intentionally harms another child will be ejected from the facility immediately. Pump It Up needs to employ older, college age kids for the important task of watching out for the bullies and any other behavioral problems. Employees should be FANNED out (not chatting in a corner) keeping all children safe. As this facility does not employ safe practices for our children, I will not be returning again and I strongly urge you to consider the same. There are far too many other fun places in the area to take my grandchild. read more

We had a great birthday party here yesterday. The staff is young but extremely friendly and we had plenty of people to help make the party an effortless experience. I do have one complaint. I brought my own camera and the staff took photos in an attempt to sell them to the party host, which is fine, BUT the girl who was in the party room kind of stood in front of my camera when my son was blowing out the cake. She was so busy trying to get her own pictures (which I didn't buy), that she stood right in front of me while I was taking a video. Very irritated by that. So alas, I got an I interrupted video of my kid blowing out his cake. Other than that, it was great. The pizza is Round Table and it was tasty, the kids had a blast, and my son said it was the best birthday party, ever. read more

Smells horrible. Needs better ventilation or some air fresheners. "Staff" is lacking in...well just about everything. Friendly, no. Helpful, no. Instead of "supervising" they talked amongst themselves. Really should only be for kids like 10 and younger. Teenagers bouncing with 5 year olds? I think not. Music is inappropriate at times for children. Disney songs or oldies would be MUCH better. Really just a small warehouse with 3 blow up bouncing slides etc. save your $. read more

If you want to avoid the hassle of having a party at your house, then this might be an alternative. However you will be paying A LOT for this. And on top of the hefty charge they charge extra for the air hockey!! The inflatable slides are old, the place is not clean and there is very little parking. The staff is very attentive and polite. Our friend has his 4th birthday here on a Monday afternoon, and honestly for our toddlers who are 4 and 2, had the best time. For the 10 kid package, is one of the most reasonable party prices you'll find anywhere else. Originally we had some confusion in how many kids were attending and one more was going to bring it to the next price up, which was $75, however they were able to resolve it quickly. In terms of timing, it is perfect for a party. Hour of jumping, and a half hour of food. The last half hour is perfect since you can bring your own food, eliminating any possibilities of allergy issues. read more

We had my daughter's 4th birthday party here. She had fun but I was disappointed. I booked this one based on it being closer to us, and having been to a party at the one in Pleasanton. This one doesn't really compare to the other. First of all, the size is much smaller, and all in one room. Secondly, you have to pay extra for things like the air hockey table, whereas in Pleasanton its free. I was also really disappointed in the staff. I paid extra for the bubble machine, and not even 15 minutes into the party, it ran out of solution and I had to ask a staff member to turn it back on, and she said... oh you still want it on? I said yeah, I paid $20 extra so the 1 yr olds who are too scared to even go on the slides can have some bubbles to play in... She was apathetic. About half way into the play portion of the party, I overheard a young, teenage male employee ask one of the other (also young, teenage female) employee, I've taken 32 photos, isn't that enough? and she responded yeah, whatever... I gave them a look and saw him go back to photos, but when it was time to pay the balance at the end of the party, and I realized I would have to pay extra for them, and that they had taken less than 50 photos, including the pizza and cake time, I declined to give them even more money and complained about the behavior of their staff. I regret not getting the photos though, because we really didnt take that many because we were relying on them too... and I am sad that we don't have more to look back on. considering how much money we paid for the party, they should have taken more and not been so immature about their jobs. I will never have another kids birthday party here. read more

Out of the local boucy house places this is probably the best. My only gripe is the it's kind of a free for all. The workers are very nice but the rules are very loosely enforced (they stand around talking to each other instead of paying attention to the kids) and I do worry about my kids getting hurt there. My twins had a birthday party there about 3 years ago and it was very easy which was great:) We've also attended others birthday parties and open play times. read more

I recently had a party for my six year old here. I thought they did a terrific job, the staff were great - they were well organized, played with the kids, set up the room, helped serve and cleaned, they were all very nice and kept checking in. The facility was also very good for this age, they enjoyed jumping and sliding and the room adjoining was perfect for pizza (that you can order thru them) and cake. Only suggestions I have to get to 5 star is 90 minutes would have worked well, if you have more than 13 you need to sign up for 2 hrs and after an hour of jumping I think the kids were done, it would have been idea,l at this age, to jump for an hour ten and then 20 minutes in the cake/pizza room. I also think they should either make the air hockey table free (you need to keep loading quarters) or get rid of it, for the cost of the two hours I think it should be free. read more

This was the simplest party I have ever thrown and I have thrown a lot! I left feeling like I had something to do because I did absolutely nothing! They do all the prepping, serving, pass out presents and cleaning. All I had to do was bring in kids and cake :) The venue was clean, the staff were polite and helpful, and most importantly, the kids loved it! I'm cheap but I thought the prices were fair considering that whenever you try to downsize a party and save money you still end up spending as much here if not more trying to save (food, decorations pinatas, etc.) Like I said, all you need is cake and kids, they provide everything else! If I had to rate this place it would be a 2. If my kids rated, it would be a 5. So i'm going to put 5 stars only because my kids LOVE coming here! We usually come Wednesday nights from 5-630 and my kids have the greatest time ever. Playing and jumping for a good hour is all they need. I'm not to fond that they only have 3 jumpers but my kids never complain. I would never consider throwing a party here but if you want to take your kids out to enjoy themselves for a bit, then this is your place. As long as my kids are happy, then i'm happy. read more

On yelp it says it's open until 230pm I arrived at 1230pm. I was told none of the jumpers were blown up and that my daughter would have to wait 15 mins for it to even blow up. The guy in the front told me that they close it down at 1pm. I said how come on Yelp it says 230 why would you're place of business close an 1 1/2 earlier than it should. He said it's for bookings only. He didn't even have a form for me to even look at to show me the guidelines of this place. He then says you should try sky high. First off sky high has there times correct and would never come back here. My daughter was so excited to come and jump. I haven't even been all the way in and GIVE ZERO STARS be more accurate so people don't drive down here to be told times aren't correct for jumping. Piece of garbage and they will hear from me. We had my daughter;s 7 yr old birthday party yesterday at Pump It Up in Concord. It was ok. I have been to better Pump It Up arenas with more inflatables. You cannot take perishable food but they will order pizza, fruit and/or veggie platters. The day before the party I asked for a fruit platter but when we got they they had not put it on the order so we did not have a fruit platter for guests. I felt bad for the parents as we were depending on having some fruit for all of our guests, parents and kids. The kids had fun jumping and the attendants were around to keep the kids from being to rough. The coordinator set up the party room and was very attentive to what needed to be done to get the cake and plates out on the table. They also do all of the clean up and will help you get your items to your car. read more

Great alternative to the park on cold days, also happily surprised they don't charge for the parent to play with the kid like the trampoline place does. This place is terrible. Overpriced to feel like a herd of cattle. You only get an hour in the room that smells like feet before getting shuffled into the "eating room". I tried to cancel within 24 hours from booking and they wouldnt let me without paying full fee. The were "kind" enough to let me pay an extra 100 dollars to reschedule. So after all was said and done over 500 dollars spent for an hour of jumping for 7 kids and 2 crappy Round Table pizzas. The web link they send you is garbage, it instantly has you "aknowlede" their return policy when you simply try to contact them. Will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Overcrowded. Think small room with 2 bouncy slides and 2 bouncy houses. What I don't quite understand is that it is really for young ( under age 8 or 9 ) kids, not teens, yet they allow an overcrowded space, barely managed by dopey "supervisors", who look at you cross-eyed, when I asked this question, "should the teenagers be jumping and sliding in the same crowded area as the 3-4 year olds"?. Official response: "Uh...yeah". Unsafe, over capacity(this room is tiny and dark), and should not be allowed to operate without establishing some serious rules of the road. read more

I have been going here for about a year with my 2 year old son, and we have always had so much fun until our most recent visit. Not only have their prices gone up but the new staff is terrible and because of that, I will not be returning. I went on a weekday afternoon and the young girl working (who I will refrain from writing her name) constantly followed my son around. At first she was trying to play with him so I just figured she was extremely bored but then she started telling him not to stand on the air hokey step stool( which I do not see an issue here, that's what the stool is there for) next was that I should help my son up the high slide although he has been climbing it by himself since he was 1.5, then she came over to the candy machine and told me that I need to be aware that the sour candy in the machine was very sour( obviously I can read the label), then she told me that my son put his mouth on the water faucet, and last but now least she told him to not move the gym play blocks that were on the ground. By this point I picked up my son and darted for the door! Whatever happens to the chill guy who worked here before? Bring him back! read more

My kids have fun at drop in play times. Duh, kids like to jump. That us why I decided to have my daughters eight birthday here. We shelled out 500 dollars and the party was a total disappointment. We paid extra to have the 'glow in the dark' party, I ordered glow necklaces and balls. Well, turns our glow in the dark just means they turn off the lights. I'm not even kidding! Nothing glowed! I had to ask several times for glow in the dark balls and necklaces, to which the teenage 'hosts' responded with confused stares. When we finally got our things, no balls, mind you, just necklaces and bracelets. And to cap off the evening with got treated to angst and attitude from our hostess in the party room. She kept pressuring us to move things along trying to serve cake before the kids were done eating pizza even though we had plenty of time for cake. Also, she wouldn't let me stand near her while she cut the cake (which she did a terrible job of) She was like 'I need everyone to sit while I cut the cake', looking right at me, I was the only one standing there. We just had our granddaughter's 3 year birthday party here and it was wonderful! Everything was organized from the moment we walked in the door when they had a mobile cart for the presents with her name on it until they ushered us out at the end, helping us to the car with the gifts. The kids ranged in age from an 11 month old toddler who enjoyed just walking around, to 1st graders, with most being the 3 year old range. They had so much fun! They exhausted themselves jumping, and then it was time for pizza. As they ushered us into the food area - we were all given hand sanitizer - they think of everything! Every child got pizza and multiple drinks. The girls working the party were constantly filling up glasses, cleaning, serving food, etc. They handled all the cake cutting, and packed everything up for us including the knife we brought along (which I would have forgotten). The staff was alert, watching the slides to make sure everyone was safe, but not being too rigid so the kids could have fun. My granddaughter loved all of it - including getting to sit in the special birthday chair - and the family loved that everything was taken care of from start to finish - they do all the set up and clean up - we just arrived with our cake, let the kids have fun, and the adults have a chance to talk (while watching kids) so it was a wonderful experience for all ages. I gave my sons 3rd Birthday party here. First off this place is way to expensive for just 3 blow up Inflatiables and for parents to be sitting on uncomfortable benches along the wall. For as much money you spend the room should be bigger with more things for the children to do and parents should have chairs to sit on. Otherwise just rent a jumper and have it at a park. The next thing is the food I ordered the pizza packages for the kids because you have to. I also ordered 4XL pizza for the adults a meat combination, a pepperoni, and 2 chicken pizza's. Now you have to put your order in a day in advance. Now when I spoke to the girl on the phone I asked her what all comes on the chicken pizza she said whatever you want. So then I said mushrooms and then she said we can put the same vegetables they use on a regular meat combo pizza. I said yes that's fine. So when the guests are trying to eat they are like you didn't order plain chicken pizzas. I said yes, so I open up the 2 supposedly chicken pizzas and they have pepperoni ham, and chicken. So when I tell the party helper about them having the wrong order she goes out the room to tell I guess the front desk what happened. Mind you, you only have 15 minutes to eat and 15 minutes for cake. I leave out the party to see what are they going to do since this was there mistake. The front desk girl told me usually when you get chicken combination pizza the red meat is on there. I told her no when you oder with chicken it only come with chicken and like 7mushrooms, bell pepper, green onions, olives. So she has this nasty attitude telling me I'm waiting to here back from the owner and when I talk to her then I will let you know what she says to do. I'm like are you serious you guys messed up my order and the party is almost over half my guests aren't eating because they don't eat red meat and your waiting to here from the owner who should be here or have a manager on site. So now they took the 2 wrong pizzas to the front desk so the front desk girl can count how many pieces were eaten. One pizza was not eaten and the other one had a little more than half left but the fact she is really over there breathing on and counting pieces. She tells me I will refund you for one pizza and give the rest to the guests. She told me they ate half the pizza so I'm looking at her like I didn't know I was suppose to stop them from eating. And mind you its not like they can go make another pizza because they don't make them they order it from outside somewhere. So they are probably paying $14 for it and adding an extra $10 on top. But you can't bring food in there but they can they are ridiculous. Do not throw your party there you will be disappointed and upset afterwards your better off spending that kind of money on a trip to Disneyland, seroiusly. They need to shut them down the place is overpriced for nothing to do and the attitude of the front desk person and owner is absolutely ridiculous. read more
