I don't like service. It's was awful . The woman who was on the reception, Try to sell us everything, She was pushing us to buy something. We never will back to this place.spend 400 $ And have a lot of disappointments. Never gonna recommend this place to anyone read more

Rcently held my daughters 1st birthday here, and it is well worth the price! Excellent service and they handle everything for you! All you have to do is show up!! I especially loved working with Dylan he was very helpful from starting process of me reserving the party until the moment we left! FIVE STARS from me! Considering making this a birthday tradition. The play arena was awesome, and our staff assigned to help us were AMAZING! read more

I'm so disappointed in my experience at pump it up today. I brought my little two-year-old granddaughter there, and they should not allow little children into that place. It is so dangerous! You don't know what you're until you pay and walk through the door. There was no place that she could place safely. There were older kids there being kids which is fine, but there was no place for a little ones to play. I wouldn't recommend this place for any child under the age of five. They should at least warn you what you're walking into. read more

We celebrated my son and daughter's birthdays here yesterday and it did not disappoint!!! First, the planning process was very easy and smooth. It was great to be able to customize things online at any time and the staff was also very communicative and responsive over the phone. Second, the venue is clean, organized, and so much fun! It's a great space and the absolute best part is that the event was private! This made the environment feel safer, more intimate, and exclusive to us. Third, the party experiences were a blast! We opted for the Glow Wars and Bubbles add-ons and it made for such a fun time for kids and parents too! lol The glow in the dark atmosphere was something we don't see at other party spaces we've gone to, so it was cool to offer something unique to our guests. Fourth, the quality of the food was great. There is a wide variety of food options you can order, all from Round Table Pizza, which in my opinion is one of the best pizzas out there, so we definitely appreciated that. Last but not least, the staff did an AMAZING job. Carla, our party coordinator, ensured that everything ran smoothly and frequently checked in to make sure our needs were met. Also, Emily who was our party attendant worked her tail off to set up, serve, and clean up. The staff really did an excellent job and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Our family and guests had an amazing time. Thank You SO much! read more

Hosted a birthday party for my 3-year-old here, the place is quite small but big enough for the preschoolers. Staffs at the booking and confirmation are nice and knowledgeable, we had our party at 9 on a Saturday morning, when we get there everything's (even the staffs) all prepared waiting for us, which is good because we could start the party right away. A little disappointed about the party host because she is very laid back, especially when we're back to the party room, all she did is to ask us to sing a birthday song, and that's it, all of us just randomly sit at the room eating! I was invited to a Pump it up party at another location and the party host made it into a real party! What disappointed me the most is the photographer. I paid for the party picture package because parents might want to join in with the kids without worrying about capture the cute moments. I was wrong, no cute moments were captured, the photographer had her camera on hand, chatted with the party host at all time, randomly hit the shutter button without paying attention to what she was capturing. she took 55 pictures and only 3 of those can see the face, 2 of the group pictures and the birthday girl sitting in her throne. All other pictures either out focus or only showing people's back! Generally this place is good, I like that we occupied the whole venue for the playtime, and most of the services we got are above average. 2 stars taken because of the party host and photographer. Update on 7/25/2016: A staff contacted me regarding the host and photographer, and offer refund to the photo service. I didn't accept the refund because we did get the photo service after all, instead I explained to her what happened on that day and why improvement is necessary. Will keep an eye on future comments because I do want to host my younger daughter's bday party at Pump it up again, however if I don't see improvement in this location we might go to Oakland's instead, where we had a better party experience. read more

I wasn't too impressed. Probably won't get back unless I get another birthday invite. We give it a 2 only because we had fun because it was a birthday party we attended with a bunch of friends which made it bearable. I don't know why they try to force you to buy socks or bring them when some of the kids really are barefoot and they say nothing. There are truly only three inflatables?!? OMG. That's it? I wouldn't pay for that if it wasn't a birthday party we were going to. One of the slides is really for older kids, there is a smaller one better for toddlers and younger kids and the basketball one where you can try to throw the ball into this HUGE hoop. Maybe it should be lowered just a tad? These are kids you know. The hurricane thing and the ice hockey table cost extra? SERIOUS? The only thing I can see being a good thing about having a party here is the staff wear gloves when they serve the pizza and cake. They also clean up everything which is nice. Oh there are only two stars also because there are only a few parking spots which makes it hard to come at all! read more

This place has one room. With no actual bounce house. Just slides. Everything is run down, old, ripping and smells. Overcrowded!

We attended a 5 year old jumpy birthday party one Saturday evening. Myself and my two kids were invited. There were about 10 kids in total. The jumpy room was rented out for an hour. It's fun for the kids and they have a good mix of large and small jumpy houses. Good for the 10 to 3 age range. There's other for pay attractions in the room too. Like this big wind machine thing that kids kept doing over and over again. Once the jumpy time was over we were all crammed in this little room off to the side. That's where you we ate Round Table Pizza, sang happy birthday and ate cake. We took too long and had to leave and open presents out in the lobby. I felt rushed and when I found out how much a party like this costs, I probably wouldn't do this for my kids. I could rent a jumpy for my own back yard and make my own food and the kids would have had just as much fun. read more

We've been coming here for about a year and a half. It's been one of my kids' favorite places. I have noticed that it's gone downhill. They don't give out glow bracelets anymore. They don't turn on the bubble machine anymore. Heck, the last few times we've been there, they don't even turn the lights off and turn the blacklights on anymore. That's kinda lazy to me. My daughter asks about these things! They recently raised their prices but took away cool stuff. Also, on the way out this morning, my daughter pointed out a cockroach near the restrooms. I think it's time to move on. read more

We attended a birthday party on 2/2/19. Dirty/grimy & stinky. Herd you like cattle from the play area (single dark room to hide the filth) to the "party" room. Very small and very little effort to keep it looking updated and fresh. Super small parking lot in an industrial corner of Concord, sandwiched between Hobby Lobby (Behind it) & the freeway. Of course my child came down with a nasty cold about a day & a half after that. I remember telling one of the mothers to look away when our children were playing with these nasty foam blocks, which "looked" like they needed a good disinfecting wipe down & a bleach soak. They want to play with the toys at a play place. What can you do besides washing their hands afterwards & before they eat? They are kids. I know this happens w/ kids, but, this place was exceptionally run down. read more

Both of my kids have had parties here. Most recently, Reno, turning six. The staff (two young girls) were extremely helpful and supernice. Basically you hand them a bag of party favors, etc, and a cake and one of them does all the set-up in the cake room, while the other "supervises" in the bouncy warehouse. It's a good-sized warehouse with about 5 or 6 bouncy structures set up, and, oddly enough, an air hockey table (each game costs extra, not included in the party package, and of course, each kid want to play like ten times. Do what I did and tell them "it's out of order, go bounce".) The basic weekday package gets about 1.5 hours in the bouncy warehouse and a half hour in the cake/ice cream/present room. A friend of mine had a good observation during Reno's party: They should give them the sugar first, then let them loose in the warehouse. Yes, they should. read more

We will not be returning. We went there this morning for their open play. I've never been to Pump It Up but I had my 4 year old's birthday party at Bounce U in Pleasanton and was expecting something similar. The only thing similar was the fact that they both have large blow up bounce houses. Pump It Up is TINY. There are only 3 bounce houses and none are traditional bounce houses. One is a giant slide which you have to climb up and then you slide down and the other two are obstacle course type things. So nothing great for the 3 and under set. Luckily, my two year old is a dare devil and had no problem going down the slide over and over again. But my 4 year old was not having a good time. First of all, it's $8 per kid for only 1 1/2 hours of play time. It wouldn't be bad if there were more than 3 bounce houses and less than say 800 kids. It was a MAD HOUSE. There were FAR too many children in there. There was a ton of pushing and shoving and screaming and moms ignoring their little bullies. There were NO staff in the room until 40 minutes into the free play and even when the staff showed up, they pretty much just stood around and talked to each other. At Bounce U there are 2 rooms, each filled with bounce houses/slides/obstacles/boxing rings, etc. The staff at Bounce U engage your children and actually get in the bounce houses and play with them. Not so much at Pump It Up. My 4 year old LOVES bounce houses. She could spend hours in them but it was such a mad house and there was such little variety that she was not having fun at all. We left after 45 minutes. My daughter asked us to never go back. She also asked when we can go back to Bounce U. I was so disappointed. I've never seen her smile and laugh as much as she did at Bounce U, but Pump It Up was a giant disappointment. read more

If you really feel you MUST invite every kid you ever met to your child's birthday...then this seems like a good place to host it. We've been to a lot of preschool age parties here. It's your typical bday party factory...move em in...move em out. But the kids have a lot of fun jumping their little tushies off. And everybody will sleep well at night. Parents be prepared to either take quarters for the air hockey/videogames...or keep directing select kids attention elsewhere. Not so very clean...but have you been to one of these bday party places that is?? read more

Just went to a birthday....it was a great venue and the kids were absolutely exhausted after an hour. The video prior to jumping is definitely geared towards older children since the rules were too complex for 2-4 years olds to understand.....thus they didn't follow the rules, but the staff was understanding. We were a little perplexed by parking since the lot is really small (will only hold about 8 cars) but street parking will only allow 1 hour parking. read more

I came here along with family to celebrate my little cousin's 6th birthday. She's celebrated her past 3 birthdays here now and nothing seems to have changed at Pump It Up. I feel if you have kids that are 5 and under they will love it more but at my cousin's 6th birthday party, they all seemed more interested in playing air hockey than anything else. Weird. If you somehow order pizza through them, DON'T. It's not good at all and I really wouldn't call it pizza. Overall, a great spot for kids to exercise. read more

If it makes my daughter happy then i'm happy. We always come on Tuesday evening from 5-8pm, for open jump night. For a 2 year old i think it's $5. We let her loose, she goes crazy! There's only 2 jumpy climbing things and then a bounce house, I wish there were more options but she's 2 and doesnt really mind. Some of the climbing things are little too advanced for her so either I or her Dad would need to help her climb it but once she's at the top she's a little dare devil. The place never gets too crowded which is nice. When i first started coming, i was nervous that the big kids and the little kids were all in one room but I'm just a little overprotective. read more

Awesome place to go for kids of all ages! Very friendly staff! Very reasonably priced only 9 dollars for one child and the adult is basically free! The slides are a lot of fun. Great place to get all that extra energy out. Air conditioned Inside. Not too crowded either. read more

I had my daughter's 7th birthday here on a weekday evening and it was great! The kids jumped to their heart's content and the adults were able to sit and relax. The party room was a little crowded, but everyone did have a seat. The person assigned to help us serve the food was awesome.... quick and very helpful. The best part? I didn't have to clean anything up after the party =) The only con was that it got warm in the arena, which was expected with all the kids jumping everywhere. They should crank up the air before and during the party. read more

Pump It Up | Concord - Kids Activities Near Me - Concord, California

The Concord Pump it Up was a fun venue for my teen daughters and friends. They were able to enjoy 90 minutes of fun, in a black light lit room with glow sticks and glow in the dark nerf guns and balls. I appreciate the staff, Karla in particular. From my initial phone call, scheduling the event, she suggested the glow room, to our arrival the day of, she was great. read more

My 5 year old has been here for a few parties. It seems like a fun environment for the kids and they get exercise the time there are in there bouncing and running around. I enjoy joining her on the jumps and we have a great time. I looked at the prices and I probably wouldn't spend that much money on a party. It seems a bit out of line. But, as a guest it's great! read more

BEST PARTY VENUE!!! The staff was really very sweet and courteous. They answered all of my "first-timer" questions, since it was our first children's party outside of our home. Amazing!!! 5 stars!!! I completely botched the time of my party on the e-vite and the staff was so sweet and happily allowed me to move the time up and even stayed later than normal for our party to end. I seriously could not have asked for more! Each team member that I worked with, from the first time I called to book the party, to the person who answered the phone when I realized my time mistake, the person who confirmed the party, to the person who checked us in and the person who helped us in the party room, went beyond just business as usual. They were accommodating, anticipated all of our needs and had solutions for any issues that arose. I was extremely impressed and I hope my children have the same work ethic as these girls showed us. Kids all had a blast and were wiped out at the end of the party (ie: Sleep like a log), parents can socialize and enjoy the party too. You barely have to lift a finger! Best money spent on a kids birthday party to date!!!! read more

A warehouse with four inflateable play structures (like you would rent for a party at your house) - a bouncy house, a basketball hoop set, a slide, and a large obstacle course/slide thing. Kids like it at first, they start to burn out on them before the allotted time is up. read more

This place is cool for kids probably 5 and older. Not really much for toddlers to do because the older kids tend to take over everything and they can't really go down the slides. My older daughter loved it. My son liked it too, but he was too small. It's not as big as Sky High, but it's nice if you wanna have a birthday party because it would be more private. read more

Super chill, not as crowded and insane as sky high sports across the way. IT IS cheaper and they have an entirely different options. IT Has bouncy slides, bouncy basketball, air baseball, air games, blocks, bounce climb structure...for like 30 min me and the littlew had it to ourselves. GREAT attendants... need socks, don't like that they have candy machines bc my child could not resist. Other than that super fun for kids, but may need more supervision than sky high. read more

My husband & I like to bring our 3yr old son here for "Family Time" (which changes evening days and times during the week). Its nice to find something other than the park that is only $8 one day a week for 1.5 hrs. There are 2 inflatable slides, 1 basketball ring jumper, an air hockey table & tornado machine. Its small, but our son always has a great time. There are three reasons I took one star away: 1) I wish they would clean (or dust) the tops of the inflatables often, 2) When it is VERY busy, like in the summer, I think there should be at least one assertive employee on duty to ask kids & parents to stop when misbehaving to avoid confrontations between parents, 3) Today the lobby had a urine smell from the bathrooms. read more

We had my niece's birthday party here and well, I'm just glad the kids had fun. It's a warehouse garage with 3 big inflatables you can jump/climb/slide on and 2 smaller ones. People here are complaining about the smell - it's some antibacterial/bathroom cleaner. Personally I thought it was kind of nice because at least they clean the place. The biggest downer was the fact that you're not allowed to bring your own food in. They have their own menu for food and so we ordered a large pizza for some expensive amount- and it turned out to be Round Table's Pizza. What!? We could have done that! PLUS it was small, those poor kids were still hungry after jumping around so much and we didn't want to order another because it'd take another hour or so to get there. It'd be better if they had their own kitchen or cafeteria to prep the food in versus us having to pay extra for them to order food for us. Oh well. read more

I have had a few parties here for my daughter. The staff does a good job with organizing and timing the parties. We just had a glow in the dark party that was fun for all the kids and parents. It's just a large warehouse room with 4 big inflatable structures. Would have been nicer if they had a lounge room for parents, complete with cafe. There is free wifi but no tables to sit. They only have metal benches to sit on, which is not very comfortable for parents waiting 1 hr + as their kids play. They could totally make more money if they had an onsite cafe. I really need a cup of coffee! read more

My daughter loves this place. We have taken her several times and it has always been a good experience. We had her 4th birthday party here. It was fantastic!! Staff was so friendly and helpful. Party space was big enough for all the kids and parents. Staff was also great at communicating with my husband and I so the party stayed on track. I also really love the variety of party options available. My daughter has always been very adventurous and creative. The staff was friendly, but firm with her when she broke a rule and was sitting on something she wasn't supposed to be sitting on top of. My niece has always been a bit more timid when it comes to trying new things. They were helpful with her and even held her hand and helped her go down a big slide. It was incredibly sweet!! It also meant that all of us (parents and kids) had a great time!! I would definitely recommend this place for a kids party and for their open jump times as well! read more

At my nieces birthday party my little granddaughter had a great time going down the slide and the jump house

Yesterday, February 15, 2015, I took my eight year old grandson and his buddy to Pump It Up in Concord, not for the first time. I noticed the entire time we were there that the very young three "assistants" employed by Pump It Up to keep an eye on the kids were in a tight little knot against the wall engaged in girl-chat, not watching out for safety infractions in the facility whatsoever. My grandson was in a bouncy-house right behind the bench I was sitting on. I couldn't hear him due to the very loud music and children shouting over the music. My back was to the bouncy house (an ordinarily safe place for my grandson to be with his friend). He came running out in tears as TWO OLDER boys had cornered him and from two feet away were slamming kick balls into his FACE repeatedly, enjoying the pain they were inflicting on a younger child. He was finally able to break free and come to me for help. His face was very red and he was in a great deal of pain, crying big time. He pointed out to me the two kids involved. I was able to yell at one of them, but the other one was too far away. FINALLY, one of the assistants saw me yelling at the other kid, trying to get his attention, and my grandson crying so she asked me what was going on. I told her what those two bullies had intentionally done to a child much younger than them (basically ganged upon him), and I WANTED them ejected from the facility. You DO NOT behave like that and be allowed to remain in the facility. I was advised that no, the children would be asked to come to my grandson to "apologize" and they would be told to stay on the other side of the room from my grandson. Another assistant brought some ice to apply to my grandson's face. Both boys came over to give my grandson a quick and very insincere apology. Big whoopee. Nor were their PARENTS informed of their behavior by the staff. I don't know WHERE their parents were during this entire event. There should be a sign at the cash register which states any child who intentionally harms another child will be ejected from the facility immediately. Pump It Up needs to employ older, college age kids for the important task of watching out for the bullies and any other behavioral problems. Employees should be FANNED out (not chatting in a corner) keeping all children safe. As this facility does not employ safe practices for our children, I will not be returning again and I strongly urge you to consider the same. There are far too many other fun places in the area to take my grandchild. read more

Smells horrible. Needs better ventilation or some air fresheners. "Staff" is lacking in...well just about everything. Friendly, no. Helpful, no. Instead of "supervising" they talked amongst themselves. Really should only be for kids like 10 and younger. Teenagers bouncing with 5 year olds? I think not. Music is inappropriate at times for children. Disney songs or oldies would be MUCH better. Really just a small warehouse with 3 blow up bouncing slides etc. save your $. read more
