From the minute we walked in to the restaurant we were greeted with complimentary champagne and escorted back to the kitchen. There we sat at a small table, directly in front of the Chef's station. Everyone in the kitchen was so kind and attentive. We had our own private waiter, who catered to our every need. We chose the 5 course Chef's table experience and it was outstanding. The food was exceptional; from the appetizers, salad, pasta, palate cleanser, entree and desert!!! We highly recommend the Duck Ravioli. The Chef herself, was professional, creative and attentive. Her talent for paring interesting and unique ingredients is like nothing we have ever experienced. If you have the opportunity you should absolutely book this event for your next celebration. I loved seeing a traditional carbonara on the menu as well... Often, a restaurant will just make this with a cream sauce and call it "carbonara", which is so wrong that it makes my Italian ancestors turn over in their graves. Though I did not get the carbonara this time, I will certainly try it next time. We also saw waiters preparing the table side, Cacio E Pepe, which looked really fun, but ultimately, I felt it was priced more for the experience than the actual food so I did not get that. We had reservations at 8:15 but arrived at 7:45 (planning on waiting at the bar for our friends to arrive ) and they were able to seat us right away. We also got a welcome bubbly drink upon arrival which was such an unexpected, fun, and friendly touch! The servers are very professional, but down to earth.
