Pullman Market is awesome. I normally am there on the weekends for the Farmers' Market. They have so many great options for everyone. It's not the cheapest place, but it's not unreasonable. I highly recommend checking it out and you will see how special the place is.

Farmers market meets global Mexican food hall inspo. -- Pullman Market in San Antonio's Pearl District is one of those places I go as much for sensory appreciation as for shopping. On some occasions, I'll say, "I'm going to Pullman Market." The beau asks, "What for?" My answer: "To feel inspired." There are a few entrances, but you get the full effect coming through the front passing by the wood-fire grilled wagyu hot dog station before everything opens up around you. There's a little bit of everything here -- plants, produce, sauces, wine, indulgent bakery, coffee, a unique tallow body-care station, beautiful dried and living flower arrangements, and an impressive meat counter. The concierge has always been warm and genuinely helpful. One of my favorite rituals is lingering in the produce section just to see what unusual varieties have arrived. I've even stumbled across rare purple long beans like the ones my farm family grows, which instantly brought a little nostalgia into the market experience. We've especially enjoyed the wagyu, bavette and bone-in pork chops. I love seeing couples, families and solo adventurers wander through, and the whole place feels more like an elevated marketplace food hall you'd stumble into while traveling. We've picked up food, wine, Momofuku soy sauce, holiday ornaments, skincare and plenty of fresh toasted Sonoran-style corn tortillas -- our favorite tortilla style and one we were delighted to first experience at Mezquite. I also love that Pullman Market lets you bring a little of the restaurant experience home, with select takeaways and ingredients connected to the food concepts throughout the market. On a few visits, we noticed the tortilla count was short, so we double-check before leaving now. When we brought it to management's attention, they were responsive and took care of it. We also once struck out looking for hominy and Mexican cheese, even though several teammembers throughout the market tried to track them down for us. Prices are on the higher end but the rewards program is worth joining if you come often, and I'll review the individual restaurants separately. Sometimes I leave with dinner, sometimes flowers or something unexpected, and sometimes just a few new ideas. Either way, Pullman Market remains one of my favorite Pearl stops for browsing, tasting and expanding the palate.

I once wrote "Wonderful market in the Pearl, such variety of items with an excellent layout and arrangement. Very similar in some ways to Pike Place in Seattle all they need are florists and fish mongers!" Having recently returned to Place Place Market in Seattle, I realized Pullman is nothing like Pike Place, in size, quality, and ambience. The produce area is almost gone, and the wine area is greatly diminished. It's a ersatz copy of a place like Pike Place, but it's a good place to get out of the heat.

I have often heard of Pullman market being compared to Los Angeles' "Erewhon". Not to be biased... but Pullman is way better! No comparison needed. Pullman is nowhere near as expensive as erewhon and has a fantastic and quality selection of products! From baked goods, a coffee shop, to fresh produce, meats, fresh food etc... in the back of the market there are a couple of restaurants and a bar. A tiny souvenir shop is also in the back area near the restrooms. Service is always kind and friendly! Ambiance/energy is always so inviting/welcoming! Highly recommend! It's such a beautiful and aesthetic market as well.

We just finished a convention downtown and then headed to the Pearl District. In the parking garage, we ran into a group of cooks who recommended going to the Pullman Market. Walk all the way to the back and go to Burger by the Butcher. We had the traditional burger and a bacon burger. Both had great seasoning and were perfectly made, served on a delicious bun. We also enjoyed house-seasoned fries. Overall, it was a great experience with excellent service and a cool, clean environment.

I love coming to this market to eat Burgers by the Butcher. This was my first time trying their cheeseburger and you can definitely tell it's local! The flavor and freshness of the beef is amazing and the buttermilk bun melts in your mouth! The portion of the fries you get are definitely worth the price. They are so fresh a crispy I couldn't stop eating them.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Such a diverse market, featuring many local products from nearby Texas farmers! Prices are a tad higher than your traditional grocery store, but you're at The Pearl and you're getting local products, kind of worth it in my opinion. I love to stop by to check out their local products and try new products that I haven't seen. They also have a few restaurants located inside the market that are definitely worth checking out!

The scents and prdentation of their products are an added experience

Avoided due to anticipated problems with parking. Pearl is so filled with affected and editorial instagram locals in some sort of daily cosplay of care free affluence when in fact many are broke as hell. There are others mainly business class or tourists but they stay at Hotel Emma and definitely have money, or their employer's corporate card. Then there are the real carb eating customers who are there to actually consume goods. I finally had a free weekday to go to Pullnam now two years after they opened and loved my experience. Parking in the Pullman market was easy. It really is $0 with validation and for up to 2 hours. I was looking for ground flax, they only had whole. Looking for cinnamon infused honey, they did not have. Just weird shit like lavender infused. I enjoyed the elevated feel of the place, very transporting and nicely curated with so many spaces in and out doors to sit and people watch or just hang out with friends. Ate at Fife and Faro for a simple pizza and pomodoro pasta.

Pullman Market, which opened in April 2024, is one of San Antonio, TX culinary hot spots. Located at the Pearl, the market offers a variety of foods and drinks. When you peruse the grocery area, you immediately know it's an upscale market with unique and sought-after goods. There is bakery at the Pullman Market simply called the bakery with a whole host of delectable desserts and treats. You can find a coffee shop, ice cream shop and deli at the Pullman. When you walk in you feel disconnected from the outside world. The market features goods piled nearly to the ceiling, dried flowers, unique vegetables, abundant natural light from glass windows, and a steady stream of Pulman customers. Everything looks so appetizing. This is the type of market you could literally stay in for hours. The dining options provide selections for the most discerning palate to someone who is a novice diner. There are several restaurants within the Pullman Market including: * Fife & Farro - Wood fired sourdough pizza and handmade pasta * Mezquite - Sonoran inspired Mexican restaurant * Isidore - Fine dining restaurant (reservations required) * Nicosi - Intimate dessert bar * The Mezcaleria - Agave focused specializing in mezcal and cocktails. Importantly, you receive two hours of free parking if you buy something at the Pullman Market. The code you need for your free parking is printed on your receipt. Clever way to ensure folks at the Pullman Market are actually paying customers. I ended up buying a strawberry & orange curd croissant, which I was told was the most frequently purchased item. I must admit, the croissant was quite delicious. Great time was spent at the Pullman market..,

Such a great market. It is a great place to browse. You'll definitely walk out with at least one item. Bought a cheesecake, a loaf of sourdough and could not decide from the wine selection. If you haven't yet, you should stop by.

Love browsing this place so much! We've visited a few times over the last year and always have a fun time looking around. We've purchased coffee, some little gifty items like a mug and card, and snacks. They have so much great fresh produce and locally produced items, but we never are on the way home to Austin after visiting here. I have gone to the pizza restaurant, Mezquite, and Isadore - all located in the market. This is a fun place to walk around and they even had a dj the one day I was there. Public bathrooms are available and all connect in different ways to the restaurants. Plenty of parking lots outside.

Pullman Market is a foodie gem located just north of downtown San Antonio. Artsy, great lighting, and filled with locally crafted goods. There are multiple Michelin star restaurants as well as more casual options in this comfortable complex, as well as the grocery market itself. The Pullman concierge is a friendly asset to the Market and has personally made me feel welcome each time I visit. I like the open concept and inviting indoor/outdoor seating options. Wish there was a bit more variety in the bakery section, but overall it's a nice place to eat, relax and maybe learn a bit about the namesake Pullman cars while you're at it.

In my opinion this is a great market for people living around the Pearl. For a visitor it is a bit complicated with the parking and shopping. One of the times I decided to go get meat and fish I got distracted and ended up scrolling around the Pearl. I have tried couple of the restaurants and was not impressed either. In this summer heat it is a nice cool off spot if you are at the Pearl enjoying one of the outdoor events. I went this weekend for the World Cup watch party

Friendly staff and yummy food. It's definitely worth checking out. Can get super crowded, but it's expected with the location.

ZABIHA HALAL ! We…read moreare absolutely BLESSED to have Alamo Farms available. Outside of Ali Baba, this is our GO TO for fresh meat -- they have live animals in an enclosed area next to the store front, and if you'd like you can actually choose your meats. Alamo Farms has a WIDE RANGE of meats and cuts available. At times, they may run out of something due to popularity and their VERY AFFORDABLE price, but that's not on them. Every time I come here, there's at least 4-5 cars parked outside. They don't serve just the Muslim population, but an entire community. For my *halal* lovers, I've personally seen the rooms / freezers in the back of the lot and it is VERY CLEAN. You can easily see that the blood has been drained from the animal, and it is done ethically. My husband buys PLENTY at one time to put into our deep freezer and we've never had any issues with any freezer burns either. I personally love their short ribs, T-bone steak, and ribeye. The gentlemen that work also make great recommendations when you are looking for a specific cut of meat. We wanted to make beef birria tacos and the cut they recommended yielded PERFECTION. Alhamdulilah for Alamo Farms.

It took about 35-40 minutes to get to the door and another 10-15 inside. Service wise, all the servers were friendly. The main reason why the line take me so long is each order is customized. You can order by piece (1 or 2 ribs, 1 or 2 slices of brisket, etc) and it's weighed or you can order by pound. If you get pork ribs, try not to get the last piece...there's no meat on it and you're essentially paying for the bone. You'll order from 3 different stations (sides, dessert then meats) I opted to skip the sides to focus on trying the different meats and a dessert. The dessert was the mistake. I got the banana foster by staff recommendation. It didn't have any chunks of banana and too much cinnamon. But the worst thing is getting sick from it. I'd probably come back to try the beef ribs and sides next time I'm in the area. The brisket was one of the best I've ever had. It was tender juicy and not too fat. The pork ribs were very tender except for the end piece which was a little dry. The sausage was OK, nothing special. The two flavors of BBQ sauce (sweet and original) were different but okay.
