Though I quickly shut off the water I still had a big mess. I began to get up some of the water with my carpet machine but called Servpro to help me. They responded within an hour, examined the damage, and made a proposal for cleanup. They set up fans in each area and a dehumidifier. I was able to remove the carpet and padding from the closet and remove most of the water with my carpet machine and returned it to the closet. By the next morning it was mostly dry as was the bathroom. By Friday morning everything was dry! Amazing! The Servpro agents monitored the moisture level returning each day. I have boxes of clothes, shoes, accessories, purses and so much more that are now trash. Mold on so many things. I called them and asked why this happened if they use high extraction, to which they replied 'no, we use steam cleaning', and told me there would be a $45 charge to take a look , since it was 'so long ago'. i would not use again, 'high extraction' claims stains and damage to underlying padding do not resurface. They should at least stop by to see what was going on. The manager avoided my calls and just relayed a message about a second charge , if he came out to my centrally located condo, again.

However, he never gave me an estimate even until today. I was told he is out on field whenever I called the office, which is more than four times. He never returned my call although I left message through Alex or Brittney. Also, I was told his manager Dan would call me but it never happened. I am not sure why they intentionally gave false statements whenever I called them. Moreover, I am not sure why they came to house and promised to give me an estimate in the first place. The Best Restoration doesn't keep its promises at all.
