He never returned my call although I left message through Alex or Brittney. Also, I was told his manager Dan would call me but it never happened. I am not sure why they intentionally gave false statements whenever I called them. Moreover, I am not sure why they came to house and promised to give me an estimate in the first place. I have boxes of clothes, shoes, accessories, purses and so much more that are now trash. Mold on so many things. Due to the bed sitting in water, the legs have cracked, clothes on hangers in the closet smell like mold. It's a disaster. I was upset at the beginning because this is not what one wants to walk into. My plan was to unpack boxes, not pack up what I can salvage. Two team members arrived promptly just before 12 noon on Saturday as appointed. They were both super friendly and professional and reassured me that they were going to take care of everything I needed cleaned in the unit. In addition, I asked the nice gentleman of the cleaning team if he could use my dolly that I brought from Jacksonville and remove an old refrigerator and a chest of drawers left at the apartment by my last tenants and just set it by the curb for garbage pick-up. He said, "No problem." And he did it for FREE! How cool was that? After about 2.5 hours, Nick called me to let me know that they were just about finished and ready for the walk through. After making SEVERAL calls for a mold remediator, PUDDLES Restoration was the only one who responded to my call IMMEDIATELY. At approximately 8pm, after thoroughly explaining both verbally and with detailed videos, PUDDLES Restoration spent MANY hours performing an initial remediation, making the black mold exposed areas by the handyman 'safe' for me for the night, until he could return to completely and thoroughly check and remediate the entire house. PUDDLES Restoration uses plant-based products that are safe for humans and pets, which were both of great concern with my breathing condition as well as my cat's allergic skin condition. And by the way, my cat comes out of hiding for no one, but did while PUDDLES was there, only reinforcing my trust in him!! When the air quality tests came back, it was determined that far more than just the initially exposed areas I'd asked PUDDLES to remediate immediately so I could safely breathe, was affected (which he'd made clear to me in advance).
