We have over 37 years of industry experience and proven techniques in our process. We are a business that was created in this community, and we continue to live and thrive here now that the children are grown. In addition, our family owned and operated a dry cleaning plant in the Florida Keys for 10 years prior to coming to Gainesville, so they have extensive knowledge with delicate fabrics and stain removal. When we arrive at your home or business, we understand that when you allow us in your home, you are trusting us with the things that mean the most to you, so our business is always insured with an A-rated carrier. Our business practices are solid and we strongly believe that setting expectations about the process, and the care that we will take, is vital to your satisfaction.
Meet the Business Owner: Mark R.
As a high school student in 1966, Mark began his long career in the cleaning industry at a Cincinnati dry cleaners. In 1977, he traveled to the Florida Keys, where he and his brother-in-law co-owned their own dry-cleaning company for many years. His company eventually grew to offer services in carpet, upholstery, tile and grout cleaning.
After sending his two daughters to the University of Florida where they graduated and stayed permanently, he moved to Gainesville to be with them and their budding families. It was during this time, in 2005, that he founded Plantation Carpet Cleaning.
Now with 51 years of experience under his belt, Mark still shows up personally to his client's homes to guarantee spotless service every time.
