Pequa Pools has been opening and closing my pool for over 15 years and I have always been extremely…read moresatisfied with their service. This year, I had a tear in my liner and had to cancel my opening until I could get a replacement liner (which, thanks to the pandemic, took FOREVER to arrive). Knowing that I was anxious to get my pool up and running, Chris (the owner) came to start up my pool THE DAY it was filled, bringing all the necessary chemicals with him, so that my family would be able to enjoy our pool as soon as possible. NOW THAT'S SERVICE! When I bring my pool water to be tested, they are always spot on with their recommendations and don't try to oversell you on chemicals, as has been my experience with some other pool companies. I can't recommend Pequa Pools highly enough!

I hired him to set up my above-ground pool in 2024. Before the installation, I specifically asked…read morehim to place it in the middle of the yard because that area was flatter. Instead, he insisted on putting it in a different spot, assuring me that he had leveled the ground and that it would be fine. The pool looked okay at first, but it only lasted one season. Last year, the liner ripped, and I initially thought it was my fault. This year, I had another pool professional come inspect it, and they immediately pointed out that the original installation was done very poorly. They found that there were tree roots underneath the pool that had continued to grow, causing the ground to become uneven and the pool to lose its level. I was also told that the area should never have been used in the first place because of the roots. I trusted his judgment when he assured me the spot was properly leveled, but it turns out that wasn't the case. While the pool may have looked fine initially, the poor placement and installation ended up costing me a damaged liner and additional repair expenses just a year later. I would not recommend this service based on my experience. If I could give a 0 star;I would.

The repair was to fix a leak and guess what, after the repair, we still had a leak! We had to hire a new company to fix the work they did. They used old material to trim out our steps which lead to the continued leak. I would not use this company again even if the work was completed for free! They also tend to avoid your calls. You will need to call or text at least 5-6 times before they follow up if they follow up at all! Terrible workmanship and customer service.

Island Recreational We recently purchased one of your pools from the Deer Park location. This was…read moresuppose to be completed on Friday, July 24th. The pool was installed and water filled the next day. I was assured by both representatives on a customer service call and in store that someone should be coming back to finish the installation. We have proof of purchase to show we were in store on the 25th. After days of no response and unanswered support calls we received a call from the installation team stating we never purchased the installation plan with filter. Note this was NEVER mentioned prior to today. I received another call from a store Supervisor in which stated I can either pay the additional fee of $199 or come into the store for them to show me how to put this together as "it is easy"! Not only was this not an easy task their demonstration filter was setup incorrectly to cause further confusion. As a result of all this poor communication and lack of accountability 4 days later my new pool is showing signs of algae. Plus a mess left by your installation crew. I don't believe this is any business standard of excellence. This poor service makes me regret this purchase. I have small children disappointed that they cannot go into a pool that was purchased. Money is not easy to come by as it was worked hard for. Again this is a huge disappointment.
