Don't forgot the clearance section is by the pharmacy

It's a Publix, not much to say. Clean restrooms, decent salad, bar, and olive bar. Clearance is a hidden gem, lunch time gets busy and there is a decent size eat-in area to enjoy that Publix sub I know your dying to eat now.

A decent wine selection - including chilled wine to go.

Publix? Ok if you live anywhere in Florida chances are you have been to a Publix and may wonder why I'm reviewing our hometown grocery store. You can basically throw a rock anywhere in Orlando and hit a Publix. But this review is about *my* Publix, near my house. The thing with Publix is there is a big difference depending on which one you go to. At their worst, they can be older, dark and full of mostly pre-wrapped and pre-packaged food, including produce (I like to select my own fruits and veggies and don't like the plastic wrapped displays). Newer Publix's, like this one, are different. It is bright with wide aisles and a better selection of produce. The deli has Boars Head cold cuts, which for me, the daughter of a NY deli owner, is a huge deal. In fact I will choose a Publix sub any day over our other sandwich chains...(except of course Earl of Sandwich, because that Thanksgiving sandwich is the best). The cashiers are polite and will carry your bags out to your car if you like. There is always plenty of parking. And, if you are feeling it, you can always head across the parking lot to Abbott's for some custard :) So, I'm raving about this Publix... but why 4 stars and not 5? I wish it were a Whole Foods or Fresh Market. But as Publix goes, this one is as good as they come, and for a neighborhood grocery I'm pretty happy with that. For anyone staying near Disney, especially in the Flamingo Crossing area, this Publix is so much better than the ones on Irlo Bronson Highway, so just take 429 up a few exits and you'll do much better.

I've lived in the Hamlin area for about three years now, and this Publix has never disappointed. I went from one exceptional Publix (Lake Mary, Fl) to another exceptional Publix! The benefit that the Hamlin location has over any other Publix I've been to is how new it is. While nearly any Publix you go to will be clean and refreshing to visit, the Hamlin location puts it to a new level. Nothing is outdated here (unless you really care about self-checkout) and I've never seen it "dirty" (I don't even know if that is possible). The staff here is also on another level. They are attentive, helpful, and feel like real people. I know when I'm at work, I can go into "work mode" the workers at this Publix never seem to do that though! They always strike up conversation: asking you how your day has been, if you have any plans later, how a product you're buying is. I know that this is how many Publix's operate, but it just shows you why people choose Publix time and time again over other grocery chains. The weekly BOGOS here are also exceptional, and circumvent the common complaint that Publix is slightly pricey than the competition. I definitely don't disagree that it is pricey, but not by much. It's not like it's Whole Foods level. The individual bakery, seafood, meat, and deli department. are all kept clean and have EXTREMELY helpful employees. If you are ordering a birthday cake, you will be assisted. If you are trying to get a nice piece of salmon to impress your date, you will be assisted. If you want that perfect for you cut of steak, you will be assisted. If you want a chicken tenders quick bites, you will be assisted. Overall, there is really nothing bad I can say about this Publix. Just keep doing what you do!

I LOVE this publix! I probably go here at least a couple times a week. Every cashier is super friendly as well as the ladies at the pharmacy. I've never had any issues with them being out of stock of something. I love that they carry a wide array of products that fit a lot of people's needs and allergies. I went to the grand opening and have been going ever since. I can't wait for more things to open up around it. It's right down the street from my house. It's a great addition to the Hamlin area.

Old store. Dark lighting. People cut through parking lot. Too many displays in aisles. Some unfriendly clerks. Don't recommend it.

Date of visit: November 28, 2025…read more I'd heard of Sprouts before but never had an opportunity to visit one until this trip down to Florida for a cruise. We needed a couple small items and walked over after breakfast. It definitely has a Trader Joe's vibe, so if that's not your scene you likely won't care for Sprouts, either. Think healthy and natural with fun twist. I found the items I was looking for and while they weren't exactly cheap, they both seemed to be of above average quality and I am a firm believer in getting what you pay for. All of the employees we encountered were friendly and helpful (when's the last time you can say that you experienced that!?), and I wouldn't hesitate to visit another location on my travels if I had the opportunity to do so.

Sprouts Farmers Market (the one I go to in [Your City]) - 5 stars, no notes…read more I'm obsessed. Walking into Sprouts feels like someone gave Whole Foods a personality transplant and slashed the prices while they were at it. The produce section is legitimately gorgeous -- heaps of organic kale that actually looks alive, avocados that are ripe EXACTLY when they say they will be (witchcraft?), and those little cartons of specialty mushrooms I pretend to know how to cook. Everything smells like it was picked this morning, because half of it probably was. The bulk bins are dangerous for me. I go in for almonds and leave with mocha-dusted chocolate almonds, chili-lime pistachios, and some random grain I saw on TikTok that I'll never figure out how to pronounce. Their bulk spices are also clutch -- I refilled smoked paprika for like $0.87 the other day and felt like I hacked the system. The deli/sandwich counter is low-key one of the best lunch deals in town. $8.99 for a massive made-to-order sandwich on fresh-baked bread with all the fancy toppings? Yes please. The "Sprouts Classic" with turkey, cranberry, and stuffing vibes year-round is stupidly good. Meat and seafood counter people are always chill and actually know what they're talking about. Got sold on some cedar-plank salmon that changed my weeknight dinner game. And if you're plant-based, the selection of fake meats and cheeses that don't taste like regret is honestly impressive. Only tiny gripe: the parking lot is a blood sport on weekends and they play the same 7 acoustic covers on loop, but I'll fight for a spot and hum along to "Wonderwall" on ukulele if it means I get to shop here. Sprouts, never change (except maybe add one more register on Saturdays). See you tomorrow... again.

You will find QR codes for each payment app. They had 3 different types of raw honey. All the larger sizes above 8 oz were out so you just a bit more for the equivalent in smaller sizes (16 oz vs 2 - 8 oz jars). There was individual pricing for honey sticks which would've been great which to try but they only had packages of 100 sticks available. We got there around noon on a Saturday and noticed they were out of the sourdough and banana bread. Not sure if it is even stocked on a daily basis though. Pricing was very reasonable. It's nice to know that it is all very fresh from their own farm. You'll notice many more cameras on the outside when you walk back to your car. I'm sure they had to do this due to some jerks ruining the ambiance for everyone else. Either way, it's still a cool place to check out.

From all the different quality products, the amazing customer service, and the overall environment... it's always a great experience. I feel like the staff really create an environment where customers feel they can ask questions and really get an educated response from the staff. Ms. Deb took time with me, and several other customers, to explain the uses, benefits, and research behind many of the products. During my first visit, there was a teacher, a nurse, and another lady that were all having a discussion with Ms. Deb about a few of the Health Food store's products for immune support and healthy hygiene products. Not only was Ms. Deb able to answer with informed information, but she also knew about the vender's themselves. I was very impressed, I'm pretty sure we all were. If I were a vender, this would be a place I would be proud to have my products on the shelf of, because I can tell they believe in what they sell. Now, before ordering off of Amazon or going to Publix or Walmart, I check to see if the Health Food store has the product first. Not only do they normally have it, they have different quality options and some from local suppliers. I bought some delicious honey and several products I didn't expect to find under same roof... such as pure hair and skin oils like Moroccan oil and sunflower oil. They have such a large assortment, and there is so much to explore. Thank you for having your store in our community We need more stores like this, with staff who are so knowledgeable, kind, and care about the customers. One of the times i visited, I had left but forgot to buy something, I came back 10 minutes after the store had closed. Ms. Deb saw me at the door and was walking another customer out. She didn't have to but she allowed me to come in and make the purchase. I wouldn't have minded to come back, the store had closed , but she was so kind and sweet, she didn't mind at all and invited me in to make my purchase. This is the kind of store our community is blessed to have and we as a community need to support.
