I have purchased groceries and baked goods from this location numerous times! Everything is super fresh and flavorful. The staff is always nice as well. They do have a variety of products, however (reason they lose one star) I do not go here often because of their prices. There are various other grocers in the area with way lower prices. However, we do go here occasionally for baked goods good or other organics that they are known to carry. We have had good experiences too, hence 4 stars! read more

Publix Deli - Hygiene concern. I visited the Publix deli on Saturday, March 15 around 1:50 PM for my usual order. The store generally has a reputation for cleanliness, which I have appreciated in past visits. During this visit, however, I observed a potential food safety issue that I feel is important to bring to upper management's attention. While waiting at the deli counter, I noticed a young female associate (long hair pinned up, wearing glasses) slicing cheese for the customer being help just before me. Twice during the slicing process, she paused to wipe her nose with her hand/ wrist. What concerned me is that she then continued handling the cheese without changing her gloves or sanitizing her hands ( yuck!) This kind of action can pose a hygiene risk, and honestly just disgusting. I want to emphasize that I could not see her name tag, and I wasn't able to speak with a manager at the time ( which in the past I had to remind a manager to change gloves after shaking hands with someone when fixing my sub), so I'm sharing this feedback here to ensure the issue a reminder perhaps is addressed in the next staff meeting..... employees should always change gloves and wash hands after touching their face or wiping their nose. I trust this will be addressed. read more

Publix has some of the best fried chicken that you'll ever enjoy. They have the entire fried chicken & they even serve fried tenders and fried chicken wings. You'll always enjoy it here they have the great service as well and they take pride in the quality of work. It's just the way it is here. I like to enjoy my shopping experiences and I love the sampling experience when I visit. They have neat and clean shopping centers and this one was always clean. Let me start by saying I find myself in Publix at least 2x a week. However I have to time this just right each time. This specific Publix is PACKED. It is the only Publix on 56 with the growing communities all around my Wesley chapel area. So if you get in before 11:30am or go late you should be fine like I do. Otherwise, there's a back up of cars just to get into the parking lot, then to find a spot can be tricky. Also, allow at least 20 minutes of your time at the deli and check out has its moments. All in all, it is the #1 place to goto for groceries here and has everything you need just have good time management if you like me don't want to spend 2 hours in a supermarket lol read more

This Publix is nice and pharmacy is great! The only complaint I have is since they started curbside pickup this area is not being used correctly. It's very frustrating to get to Publix and say I've arrived when there are clearly 2/3 parking spots not being used correctly. I have also gotten the wrong order when using these services. I'm about to altogether stop using this Publix for pickup. It's evident that nothing can be done regarding this and such an inconvenience when I have to drive around the parking lot or park at the stop sign just to get my items. read more

This is the nicer, bigger of the two Publix in Wesley Chapel locared across from Wiregrass Mall. There's more selection of everything all around. The produce section is bigger. The fish and meat section is bigger as well. Publix customer service as always is #1 from every person you run into from the meat, produce, meat, seafood section to all of the food aisles. The check out people and baggers are always pleasant, & helpful. No other place will extend to you help putting groceried in your car, or walk you to your car with an umbrella. I will remain loyal to Publix for this very reason. I always appreciate it. read more

One thing I love about Florida? All the Publix grocery stores!! They have the freshest produce that I've encountered in any other grocery establishment. The deli has those yummy subs that can hold up to any sub shop. The hot meal entrees can feed any family at great prices. Oh but darling the bakery. The bakery you say? No other grocery can compete with Publix baked goods. Some may say Publix is pricey. Well with the quality of products, great customer service, clean environment and let's not forget Bogo deals!!!! I'm not a huge fan of going to the grocery store, however I am a huge fan of eating food and they have food at the grocery store, so there you go. As far as grocery stores go, this is a good one. It's well laid out and covers all of the stuff you would expect of a grocery store pretty well. What makes this one stand out? The people. I find the people at this location incredibly helpful and incredibly welcoming. Whether it is someone busy stocking shelves or the guy behind the butcher counter (thanks for the suggestions by the way) or the woman offering free samples of something or the girl behind the register or the guy who always offers to help drag my cart out to the car. Next time you are in the store, say hi and start up a conversation. With anyone. They are all really nice. Kudos to the leadership team who must have set the core values for the location and the staff for implementing it! There are a few places where we could do our food shopping. But hands down we choose to come here. And it's not just for the food!!! read more

This is such a great Publix location! It is located directly across from Wiregrass Mall, but the increased traffic has not affected the quality of the shopping experience here. They always have products in stock and the wait time in the checkout line is never extensive. Like any other Publix, you may wait for a bit at the deli counter during busy times like after church lets out on Sunday or lunchtime during the weekdays, but it is always worth it. The deli staff makes a darn good sandwich no matter how long the line appears. Produce is fresh, shelves are stocked and the staff is super friendly! I truly love coming to my Publix because they market the company motto perfectly...Shopping is a pleasure. I have never walked away from this store sour or dissatisfied. I think my favorite thing is that most of the staff has been there for a long time which tells me that they treat their employees just as good as their customers. Anytime I ever go into a Publix, it is always nice and different vibe from any other grocery stores. It's just different. What I like about this store is that it has a nice clearance section by the beer and wine. You can find many great items that are marked down and are at a great price. Publix is the best supermarket ever! I love the smell of it. I love the setup. I love the workers. This Publix is always clean and organized. I cannot remember a time when I have gone in and noticed something out of place. I swear they must have elves running around straightening items on shelves all the time. It is so easy to go in for an item and I know I will find it right where it should be. What I really really love about Publix in general are their sandwiches! That's right. They have an awesome deli area where they will make you your own personal sandwich! This particular visit that is the main reason I went; for a Publix turkey sandwich. I began by selecting my bread, meat, and cheese. Then, since I was splitting the sandwich with my sister I asked if they would make half with the toppings for me and half with the toppings for my sister; and she did! Perfection. Me and my husband decide to go to Publix and get a couple Publix gourmet deli sandwiches made with boar heads meats and didn't think anything about it got home which is miles away with them and they were both completely made wrong I ordered them on the website so that was a print out of what you were supposed to put on the sandwiches now I have to take my car my time my gas to go try to correct the problem that Publix usually doesn't make Winn-Dixie and now Kroger's are in town now in Florida!. Every time I go grocery shopping this is where I go! I am able to bring my daughter for a safe friendly and fun trip to the store. From the bakery to the pharmacy and meats and produce there is at least one person I know , a familiar face that is warm and welcoming to us. I love that I always see the same employees as it shows people aren't calling out or quitting (high turnover) even if I moved farther away from this area, I would still shop here, and that's a huge compliment to their dedication to cleanliness, friendliness and supply. I've always loved Publix...it's bright, it's clean, the employees are friendly, they are adequately staffed, great selection of products, delicious bakery, and scrumptious subs. This particular Publix is not my Publix of choice, though we do go here on occasion as it's between my work and my home. I'm not a big fan of the layout of this particular Publix, but it does carry the variety of brands we are used to finding at all Publixes. Love their deli and bakery. Great place to listen to tunes from the 80's No complaints overall, this Publix maintains the consistent experience and its actually bigger than some of the other Publix I've been to around the Tampa Bay area. Its in a highly trafficked strip mall and during the day and weekend, it becomes very busy just trying to drive across the parking lot. Went in on my lunch break, as I do most days. I typically grab a banana, a yogurt and some deli meat. When I get to the deli section, there were about 7 to 8 people back there working, I was told about 4-5 times that someone will "Be right with me". When I eventually was helped, I was told there is a "new system", the gentlemen began taking my order on a piece of paper asking me thickness and how much I needed. He proceeded to tell me he will put my piece of paper on the board and when it's been sliced it will be put in the fridge right outside of the deli. I ask how long this will take and he says 10-15 minutes!... I really hope this is not there "new and improved" across all stores or I'm sure they will be seeing a large decline in satisfied customers.. read more

Can safely say that I am officially done shopping at Publix. They double charged me and doing so over withdrew my checking account costing me $29 in fees. I went in and they reimbursed the double withdraw but not the bank fees. So I lost out $29 for their mistake. read more

I have always loved Publix, but this store outshines many others. The customer service is usually amazing (there are a few employees they could do without), but if you need something, there is always someone around to help. I can't count the number of times there are no more of a certain item on the shelf and an employee will go in the back and look for it, and with a smile on his (or her) face. For example, no broccoli: he went back and brought out all of his stock and handed me the "prettiest" stalk. One time there weren't any really good looking steaks, so they cut me a fresh one! They've prepared the meatloaf mix too when they're out. The guys in the deli really know their meat and are happy to offer cooking and recipe suggestions. Another time they were out of the yogurt I wanted. The man ran to the back and came back apologizing because there wasn't any in the back. 20 minutes later as I was checking out, he came running up with a box of yogurt! He actually came to find me with what I was looking for! The man at the bakery is a sweetheart - I love seeing him as he's always friendly and smiling. I wish I could remember names better, but he's the only man that works there regularly. The deli is fairly slow, and sometimes they don't acknowledge you standing there, but they are focused on not slicing their hands off, so it's all good. As far as coupons go, they will take any competitor's coupons, and never argue about specific items. It's always pleasant to come to Publix, especially this one! Excellent selection of sweets that always catch my eye and the aroma from the bakery is wonderful, if only they made a Publix pastry candle. I love how open the outside of the store is as well. Really depends on what location you visit. We live about a mile away from one and two miles from another and it's almost like they are completely different companies... Not that a mile difference is big for us to just go a little out of the way, but it might be for somebody- and it's too bad it appears the two locations aren't run with the same standards. Not the best value, although they do have some decent BOGO deals from time to time. Really wish they did a regular gas rewards program, if they did we would make Publix our market for larger shopping lists... For the time being, it's good for smaller trips and last-minute trips. This Publix is always fast and efficient! Although when they re-did the parking lot, it now brings traffic through an annoying route in front of the entire complex. (I often drive around the back to avoid dealing with the carts and cars.) They have fast and friendly service with plenty of check-out clerks available for a large spending spree or a quick milk pick-up on your way home. read more

Liz Here- I love this Publix more than any Publix i've been to-as soon as you walk in, you can't help but notice how clean it is, everyone is really friendly and is happy to help-especially in the bakery and produce section. Before leaving for NY in July-my husband and I wanted to bring home some florida oranges back home to our family and I was checking out the oranges and I wasn't quite satisfied with the selection- the manager brought out several oranges from the back for me to pick out some better, less bruised oranges. Most grocery stores dont go through that kind of trouble willingly. Also the cashiers are nice and they even have baggers to help you bring your stuff to your car if you've made a big purchase. Oh and they have the best 2 pack giant cinnamon buns-mmmm. Will definetly be back read more
