I will say that this year is my first year shopping at Aldi (consistently), and I actually really like this store! EVERYTHING is priced better than other stores. Avocados were $0.59 in Aldi and at another store were 3 for 5 for Hass Avocados, so I'm glad I waited to go to Aldi. Bacon is priced MUCH better in Aldi, because if you KNOW YOU KNOW, bacon is $1000000 in the competitor stores. They surprisingly have a decent meat selection and fish selection. I never really shop the middle aisles -- but I do like the "Aldi Finds" section. I found some really nice juice prep glass bottle. 6 for like $6.99 and I LOVE them. They have really cool Nic-nats in there. This location is really nice and clean and the staff is always friendly and at the registers ready to help. They also have self-checkout lines so options for checking out. read more

Visited ALDI and had a great experience overall. The store was clean, well organized, and easy to shop. Prices are hard to beat, especially for staples and produce. I also love the rotating Aldi Finds -- you never know what good deal you'll come across. Quick checkout and friendly staff made the trip even better. While visiting my family for the holidays, I thought it would be a fun idea to introduce my mom to Aldi! She is a loyal Publix shopper, but I was able to convince her to shop at Aldi with me for some of the grocery items she needed while I was home. This location is BUSY! And I mean it. Aldi shares a lot with the outlets, restaurants and so many other businesses so the traffic to get in and out was a nightmare. But once we made it to the parking lot for Aldi, things got a little better. Luckily, my mom had a quarter in her car so that we could rent the cart and then we took our time walking through the store. We went up and down all of the aisles and when we go to the aisle with all the holiday decor, houseware items, candles, etc. she was so excited to see all of the cool things they have! She was so surprised to see they even offered some pajama pants and slippers! We spent a lot of time in the produce section selecting all of the fruits and veggies that we needed before exploring the bread/bakery section. This location had a ton of cheese and cracker options too which was so nice! When we were on the baking aisle, she was so surprised at the prices for baking goods since they are so much cheaper than Publix. Every aisle we went down, she found something that she needed and was so surprised at the cost! We spent about 45 minutes in the store before checking out. Of course, I had to explain to her that we have to box our own items or purchase bags, but she was fine with using 2 boxes that we grabbed and then we packed our items for the car. I think I have made an Aldi fan out of her and I know she already has plans to go back for another visit soon. read more

Times are tough at Aldi these days. Empty shelves and freezers. Between everyone shopping here due to insane Bidenflation and supply chain issues it's hardly worth the trip to the store. Today I managed to find the last pack of chicken thighs! Meat was all gone. Produce prices are still better than Publix but no better than Walmart. Quality is same or better depending on what you buy. Try to come at off times to avoid slow checkout and always bring your bags (and a quarter if you want a cart). read more

My local AlDI is finally open. I've waited for so long for this location. I'm so happy it's closer for me. I had been going to the second newest closer store in the area in Odessa. The best part of this store is the wider aisles. I'm glad they did this to accommodate for the Covid right now. But even with the more open floor plan produce section, I feel like more people do gather there. The other section that is extremely open is the liquor section. I was hoping the bread section would be that way too. I've read Aldi's up north have a special bread and bakery section. Not quite here. I'm definitely a fan of AlDI and all the stuff you don't expect to be there including stuff for the house and gardening, etc. I also can't wait to try the Curbside pick up. But then again, I love walking around so much I don't know if I would use it much! read more

This the most cleanest ALDI I have been to. The neighborhood also nicer. I like to shop here. This is my friend Rachel neighborhood. I like the Italian prosciutto the sold here. It is delicious. The bacon selection has many type. The Appleton bacon is my favorite because they have more meat than fat. They do have the pink lady grape. It is a good one. Strawberry and raspberry is red and fresh looking. I also like their cheap wine selection for cooking. The hot deli is great. I like aisle is big and wide. Although the put in the direction, many of the customers did not follow the order. They man the entrance when inside the store get crowded. They should always improve on the number of checkout cashiers. Because the faster they checkout, the wait to enter the store will be faster. read more

My husband and I live in New Tampa and prefer driving north to this location over using the Aldi off of Fletcher Ave. This store is much cleaner and larger which is great for keeping your distancing during COVID. I've loved going to Aldi for grocery shopping ever since I went to my first location 10 years ago. I've also worked at a few locations myself while in college. Few notes: - The cashiers are trained to go fast as the registers time them and their performance is noted at the end of each shift, so please stay away from the cart as they scan your items. Lol. - New "Special Buy" items begin every Wednesday. Some locations begin stocking the day before. Special buy items are limited quantity. Once they run out, you won't see the same item for awhile. This is particularly with seasonal items. - Carts are used by placing a quarter into the carts to unlock and the quarter is returned back to you once you have returned the cart. This cuts down costs on merchandise/food in the store because that is one less employee working. - Which brings me to: bring your own bags or be prepared to unload straight into your trunk. Charging customers for the bags also reduces costs on merchandise/food in the store. Where do you think Walmart/Publix get their money for the bags from? Customers! TIP! 3.5 stars. A surprisingly smaller-sized Aldi for an ever-growing area. Remember to bring an actual quarter or you won't have a shopping cart. I hate the 25 cent temporarily cart rental. Having to mess with carts while people line up behind is annoying. (I'm sure I am annoying to the people waiting:) There is limited fresh produce at this location. I unfortunately bought two mangos, & didn't realize they had black, spolied areas on each until I arrived home-- my fault, but they should not have been offered. Yes, prices are lower than @ Publix, but unlike Publix Aldi is NOT a local company (or even a U.S. one). The sister company (owned by the brother) is Trader Joe's, also NOT a U.S. company. Both are German, & 70% of the profit leaves the U.S, limiting its help to our economy. However, Aldi pays the best wages for part-time employees. It used to pay $12 hourly, but it may now be higher. That's an incentive to work here. Staff was friendly enough (friendlier than at all other Aldi locations I've frequented). The aisles are nice & wide, although the floors are still marked w/ directional arrows that few follow. Here you'll find the standard sections-- produce, dairy, freezer, meat, candy, canned goods, snacks, wine & beer, bottle waters, baby & pet merchandise, toiletries, toys, school supplies, protein bars & shakes, etc. There are few organic, vegan, & gluetn-free items, but there are definitely a handful, especially in the frozen foods section. Prices are decent. Bring a bag because one will not be provided. There is; however, a fabric/plastic bag display close to the registers. Individual totes are .99 cents. There is plenty of parking. This Aldi is located close to Costco & the At Home store. I probably won't return-- just too limited sections of what I like to purchase, & I want to buy local whenever possible. read more

This is a new location and the store is so shiny! We were excited to see our familiar favorites on the shelves and maybe pick up a few new-found treats. But, that was not to be. There was plenty of parking and we easily walked through the glistening automatic doors about 7:55pm. Before entering the store, we checked to make sure the store was open. Yes! The store would close in a smidge over an hour at 9pm. We started to gather treats from well-stocked shelves but then we noticed that we were the only folks in the store. The employees were cleaning the floors around us and a few made comments under their breath about being closed but no one said anything directly to us. Little did we know that Covid hours mean the store closes at 8pm rather than at 9pm as indicated on the signage by the door. It was clear that they wanted us gone ASAP. The cashiers had already closed out (although they shouted that to each other and said nothing to us). So, we put back the few things we had in our cart and headed to the door. We had to wait to be let out as the doors were locked. We were told quite abruptly that the store closed at 8 due to Covid. We looked again to see if those hours were posted anywhere on the doors but they were not. The clock read 8:03 when we got in the car. They are prompt with their hours! If we're in the area again, we might stop by but will never forget their closing hours. They get cranky after dark! read more

I've visited our local Aldi multiple times now. Every time I've had to visit another grocery store after. They just don't have everything I need. Aldi has a decent selection of fresh vegetables and fruit. They have multiple rows of packaged foods, including some things you can't find elsewhere. Aldi also has a frozen section with some vegan items I have not seen elsewhere. The prices at Aldi are hard to beat. Overall Aldi has good prices and a decent selection but not enough of one to keep me from needing to visit other grocery stores. That makes Aldi the definition of ok. read more

Can never go wrong with this store! I have shopped Aldis all along the east coast for the last 10 years and has remained my go-to. This location certainly can get busy at just about any time/day of the week with the large population of wesley chapel, but I still greatly appreciate it being here. When I lived in this area back in 2018 the closest one was in tampa, a 20 minute drive away without traffic. Location was clean, well stocked & had a polite staff who kept up with the demand and rudeness of some customers while still giving out a great attitude. read more

Never been in one of these stores before so decided to give it a try today. Perhaps because it was a weekend that I decided to try but after entering I wanted to just set my cart aside and walk out! The store was overly crowded and was sort of crazy. People were going in all sorts of directions and the shelves especially in the produce section were so messy. Lines were so long with checking out but we did find some awesome deals on some grocery items. If you don't know, bring a quarter as you'll have to use one to get a cart and it's helpful if you bring your own bags so you don't have to purchase their bags or leave without bags. I'm soooo loving this new Aldi, located in Wesley Chapel right by Costco and the premium outlets. Everytime I visit there's always a great selection of fresh fruits and veggies, fun new things to try, and I've even found awesome household items here! I bought this great looking wrought iron plant hanger! One of my favorite purchases of 2020! And it was from Aldi! Who knew! Prices are affordable, the store has always been clean, and organized very well! I just need to find the right time to go because since it's a great location, it's often busy. I love the Lutz ALDI. We have family in Germany so we had visited Aldi there and didn't have a good experience and didn't give Aldi a second chance for so long. Finally decided to give the Lutz Aldi a chance and love the prices and the food choices. Very clean and modern store! Aisles are wide and selection adequate. Veggie and fruits are mostly fresh and attractive. The fresh salmon is excellent! The peppermint ice cream, although seasonal, outstanding and prepared without corn syrup. Many newer brands emphasize healthy ingredients and reduced calories. But the coup is what you pay at check out. 25% less than comparable markets. read more

I've been to this location twice this week and this is my first ALDI experience. I have to say, I'm impressed! Many of the prices are 1/2 of what you pay at other stores and the quality is just as good as brand-name on the ALDI items. They are extremely efficient at a checkout! My first visit to this Aldi with my daughter. I have been several times over the years in other locations. The place had some good deals! My granddaughter's elementary school was collecting boxes of cereal for the homeless so I was glad to pick up several for her (great price!). The meat looked good. Fresh fruit also looked good. They only had one cashier but it seemed to work as it was not really crowded. The only snag was when I went to use their bathrooms they were completely out of toilet paper!! Ouch!! I usually never complain and if something is wrong, I usually keep it to myself but Aldi's is an international store and there is no excuse. The last time I was in Aldi's was 15 years ago in Bristol CT and that seemed much better and was cleaner and had more of a selection. The selection in Wesley Chapel is small and to be honest, I did not see much savings. The cash registers were filthy and the air intakes were loaded with dust. Very poorly organized and laid out. Probably the Management. That seems to be the problem in Florda. It lacked quality and creativity. Maybe I'll go back in another 10 years. read more

Worth a go if you're up for something a little different and out of the norm does not bother you. Most but not all items are less than you probably pay. The set up is either a small old fashioned neighborhood grocery set up or maybe a bit on a nicer farmers market shop. Most items are not name brand, they are Aldi store brand. Most are either as good or better than the name brand items but not all. They carry about all you may want for your weekly shopping but we put this store in our three store rotation. Each having something we prefer. I'd say the biggest issue I have is the produce. It's right at the entrance so here in Florida it doesn't stay at a nicer cooler temp. This I'd say cuts down on how long it is good for after getting it home. Other than that, I'd say if you have not been here. It would definitely be worth a stop to check out. Be sure to bring your own bags to carry your things home and a quarter to get a cart. You get your quarter back with the return of your cart. We did and now it's one of our go-to stores. read more
