The OG Publix in Newnan sitting on the corner of Millard Farmer and Bullsboro...put some #respect on its name! I have been to this Publix countless times over the past 30 years and never had an issue from product, deli to service. I have gotten cakes, sandwiches, groceries, last minute items, medicine, etc... As the years past, this Publix is need of some updates and conditional love. Overall, if you love Publix, this store will tick all the boxes of the things that make you love the brand! Homesick for Georgia and in town for one weekend. We called 30 min to closing to see if they had any fried chicken left and the sweet girl at prepared foods not only took the time to check but she set aside a bag for us. It's the little things. read more

I've been to this location a few times. They usually have the items that I come in looking for. The shelves are well stocked and the produce and meats are fresh. The employees are nice and helpful as well which is always a plus. Like many other Publix locations now, this one offers online ordering and grocery pickup. read more

I've been to this location a ton of times only because it's near my house. Majority of the time when I come, I have a bad experience. There are a few employees that have absolutely no manners and cut me off while walking frequently, causing me to almost trip. There was one instance where I was trying to get fresh crab meat near the deli, and the deli worker laughed at me thinking that mock crab meat was real crab meat despite it not being marked as one or the other. I will give credit where it is due, and a couple of times I have dealt with great cashiers that brighten my day, however the bad outweighs the good here. read more

Slowest Deli service in the area. There's always wait. In comparison to other Publix locations in the area, this seems to be the lowest on the totem pole. Food is not always fresh. I've purchased both meat and fruit from here. Granny Smith apples had extreme waxing and was soft to bite, similar to a McIntosh. Fruit and meat aren't fresh. read more

I don't know which is worse the sub I just ate or the attitude or the deli worker. Last time was a horrible mess and I wanted to give it another shot, as this is the closest Publix to us, but I can say we will never be back. First, let me start by saying that this is not a review for Publix in general, but rather for this particular location in Newnan, Georgia on Bullsboro Drive. While I admit they did have all items I was in search of (which is a rarity these days!), I was appalled by the attitude of the cashier. I believe her name was Christy. Not only did she roll her eyes at me, but she yelled at me and huffed and (once again) rolled her eyes when I asked her a question. I was purchasing (among other things) dry ice, which I have not done personally before and wasn't sure whether to place it on the conveyer belt or leave it in the cart to be scanned... Apparently, the cashier has to weigh it and so it must be placed on the conveyer belt - for your future reference. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in this experience. I shop at Publix, and pay MORE, because of the kindness of the employees and the cleanliness of the store. While the store was clean, the experience was ruined by this cashier's attitude. read more

IF ALL ELSE FAILS: After driving around looking for a place to eat a late "full-service" breakfast, we decided to try this Publix. It is a great option for soup, sandwiches and fruit. Today was my lucky day because they were serving the delicious turkey sausage, kale and vegetable soup. I wanted to add a couple of the Mardi Gras wings but they did not look fresh so I just stuck with the soup. My husband ordered the creamy mushroom wild rice soup with a loaded sandwich with fresh veggies on wheat. Of course I loved my soup as it never fails. It is always perfectly prepared, hot and not salty at all. My husband's soup was very heavy and a bit scary but he liked it. That fresh baked wheat bread on his sandwich "Set it off!" It was hearty and delicious, while the overall sandwich was very well prepared. We were able to eat our meal in their little side cafe which was very convenient. We arrived at the deli department around 10 am and noticed that the hotbar/sandwich section was very understaffed. They had one employee working the counter and she was hustling! This became a problem because there was no one available to allow us to check out in the deli area and my husband had to go up front and then come back. Also, I noticed that the food, (mac and cheese and chicken), did not look fresh, (very dry and overdone) and appeared to have been sitting in the server for hours. When we checked out the grapes, (our must have travel snack), they fell short and would have been better used as tiny lemons. Despite the staffing issues, service was great today and once they work out those kinks, this will be an even better option. When you are hungry and out of options, you can always count on Publix for a hot cup of soup and delicious sandwich. read more

Safe Shopping...Thank you Publix for encouraging social distancing, crowd control, and directing foot traffic to minimize contact between shoppers. And encouraging the wearing of face masks, including all your employees. I'm afraid to shop at places like Target, where there is absolutely no crowd control, no masks (the few I saw were around people's necks rather than on their faces), it's like a free-for-all. What's the matter with people? I feel very safe shopping at Publix and appreciate your efforts to encourage social responsibility. read more

Ordered a cake on a Tuesday for Saturday and the cake was never made. Even got a confirmation email verifying the time, date, and location.

Placed an order with the Bakery three days ahead of when I needed the order to be ready. I called the day of to notify them that I was going to pick up the order later than originally planned. Was communicated that it was fine you have 48 hours before they discard. I went the following day and my order was no where to be found. I will not be relying on this management again. read more

Great store I always love coming in here but I wished they would better hire the people that make the subs and sandwiches. This week I've been in there twice to get the 'Greek' sub... it's new. The first time the lady that helped me had no idea what it was and I had to read off what was on it... but I also had to stop her from stick the knife in the hummus that she pulled out of the mayonnaise. Then as she's making my sandwich she is commenting that this sandwich looks bad etc and she wouldn't eat it. So today I go in and get the same thing except in a wrap. Again a different lady helped me and she didn't know what I was talking about and had to get help on what was on it. Again she almost put the knife in the hummus out of the mayonnaise and I'm like no. So then she put WAY to much house dressing on and barely wrapped it so by the time I got home (15 mins away) the wrapping paper was drenched with the dressing. Just a FYI to actually train your employees on a particular sub/wrap and also hygienic to not use a knife in the mayonnaise for hummus. read more

Every time I visit this location there's an issue. The employees are rude and have no sense of urgency! I bypass this location to hold on to the location on lower Fayetteville RD. They have better service and take care of you. Don't go to this location!!!!!! read more

This store is great some of the best associates anywhere. One bad thing is if something is on sale they are always out of stock.
