I love the retro look of this store. It is very cool!

IF ALL ELSE FAILS: After driving around looking for a place to eat a late "full-service" breakfast, we decided to try this Publix. It is a great option for soup, sandwiches and fruit. Today was my lucky day because they were serving the delicious turkey sausage, kale and vegetable soup. I wanted to add a couple of the Mardi Gras wings but they did not look fresh so I just stuck with the soup. My husband ordered the creamy mushroom wild rice soup with a loaded sandwich with fresh veggies on wheat. Of course I loved my soup as it never fails. It is always perfectly prepared, hot and not salty at all. My husband's soup was very heavy and a bit scary but he liked it. That fresh baked wheat bread on his sandwich "Set it off!" It was hearty and delicious, while the overall sandwich was very well prepared. We were able to eat our meal in their little side cafe which was very convenient. We arrived at the deli department around 10 am and noticed that the hotbar/sandwich section was very understaffed. They had one employee working the counter and she was hustling! This became a problem because there was no one available to allow us to check out in the deli area and my husband had to go up front and then come back. Also, I noticed that the food, (mac and cheese and chicken), did not look fresh, (very dry and overdone) and appeared to have been sitting in the server for hours. When we checked out the grapes, (our must have travel snack), they fell short and would have been better used as tiny lemons. Despite the staffing issues, service was great today and once they work out those kinks, this will be an even better option. When you are hungry and out of options, you can always count on Publix for a hot cup of soup and delicious sandwich.

Ordered a cake on a Tuesday for Saturday and the cake was never made. Even got a confirmation email verifying the time, date, and location.

This store is great some of the best associates anywhere. One bad thing is if something is on sale they are always out of stock.

Little Giant Farmers Market is a small Georgia based chain with five locations around the state,…read moretwo of which happen to be in Newnan. This particular store is located on the corner of Jackson Street and Millard Farmer, also known as "on the bypass" for those from Newnan. While it the anchor of the small shopping center there are a few other things next to it including a Chinese spot, nail salon and hair stylist. Parking is plentiful and never an issue due to the large dedicated parking lot. I will say that "Farmers Market" leads you to believe that his place is going to have plethora of fresh fruits, veggies and meats. However, that is not the case. Little Giant is basically an off-brand super market with a smaller selection of most items, including fruits, veggies and meats. I will say that they do run decent specials on their meats, especially the ground meat. Prices are somewhat competitive, but not extraordinarily discounted on any given item. They do have a section of $1.00 priced items that always include good things such as condiments, tuna, snacks, etc... Service has always been decent here. Never had any issues with the floor associates or cashiers. Overall, the locations of the two stores in Newnan are pretty convenient to my parents and that is the main reason I swing in here on occasion. If I am being honest, if I had the choice I would scoot up the road to Kroger for my big shopping trips, but LG is a decent choice in those moments where you need a few items.

It ended up being just about the same as a Publix or Kroger grocery. I think the most frightening thing about visiting was 2 female employees got into a fist fight at the checkout and started pushing each-other into the merchandise. I felt like I was on a TV show or something... Police came and everything.. crazy!
