It is not a large operation like the state-run Atlanta Farmers market. It is set in the Aberdeen Shopping Center Parking lot, behind the Bank of America at the corner of Northlake Drive and Hwy 54. It is well shaded with a lot of trees. Beautiful spot. 9 AM - 1 PM Wednesday and Saturday. You will also find multiple baked goods, spices, ready to eat foods plus food carts, beef, chicken, pork, honey, apples, cakes, boiled peanuts, flowers, mushrooms, ravioli, tamales, and a few crafts such as mine. I must disclose that I set up there on both days. I sharpen knives, scissors, and garden tools. On Saturday there are typically 50 or more vendors. Wednesdays about 15. (Me included) Still lots of produce and baked goods on Wednesdays. Really nice people - I've been there for two months+ and have yet to hear a harsh word or disparaging remark. The customers are great as well. Dogs and children are welcomed.

Get the best tomatoes and fresh produce around. Businesses that sell fresh salsa, jams/spreads, breads, and even organic meat show their wares. There are some craft businesses, seasonings, and more on display. I try to swing by once a week to try something new.

I placed an online order that was scheduled to be ready at 7:57pm. I arrived at the location early around 7:52pm sat in my vehicle and watch two employees (male and female) talking while the store appeared to be open (closed at 8pm). As I exited my vehicle I received a phone call from a young male employee who advised they just received my order and could not make it by 8pm. I was informed I would have to come back tomorrow for a refund or pick my order up in the morning (not sure how that would make sense). I informed the employee that I am outside the location and I was only passing through. While I heard him getting instructions from the female in the background he only advised I had two options but basically both inconvenience. I have to wake up on my off day put a effort to wake up and call and speak to a manager or drive back 57 miles and talk to a manager. Not to mention one of my items I ordered was prepackaged almonds which did not have to be made. I am not sure why they could not give me a refund over the phone or why the system even took my order however this business needs serious failsafes in place as well better trained associates when dealing with customers. I literally watched one employee walk out at 7:56pm and the other employee lock the door and close the location before 8pm. I will be filing a dispute with my bank as I did paid for items I clearly did not receive nor will receive at this point. Only because I know that many smoothie kings are franchises this will not prevent me from patronizing the company again I will never patron this particular location definitely. Update: I Spoke with management and my issue was resolved. However I really hope this translates to better training for current and future employees.
