The Captain was running our cash register upon a recent check out. I liked that he just pitched in where needed, but it is evident that he enjoys customer interaction The culture of the TJ's is carefully crafted. I saw an analysis, whether true or not it holds up, that crew members are trained in customer interaction such that they will do three things on check out. First is to ask if you found everything you needed. Next is to comment on an item you are purchasing - "looks like you are planning to cook spaghetti " or something like that. Third is to ask what else do you have planned for the day in an open ended question designed to engage positive interaction and conversation. Interesting! They now are featuring the fall flavors. Pumpkin spiced everything and apple spiced everything. Try the apple pie spread on toast and the apple cider donuts.

All the aisles are well marked with special signs indicating gluten free and organic items. Check out the floral/plant department...never seen such a selection in a grocery store. Don't want to cook tonight? Stop by the all ready prepared pizza, chinese, meat and three hot bar, fried chicken, salad and wing bar or have them make you a fresh sub with Boar Head meats and cheeses. Heck, they even have a milk shake machine!! Love the bakery. Used to drive all the way to Hendersonville to Harris Teeter for their English toasting bread. Now get it from Ingles. I call the day before, they bake it fresh for me and it's so much better than Teeters. The cashiers and baggers are super friendly and there doesn't seem to be much turnover. The manager has been there for over 10 years. Obviously Ingles knows the value of keeping a good manager in one location. Shout out to Xavier, the meat market manager! So helpful and always has a minute to stop and chat!

Worst Deli Department I've ever been to. They need to make some changes to the employee roster…read more I've always had good luck with Ingles until today!. I've never waited so long for a 1lb of Boar's Head Ham. The guy behind the counter, even though he was slow, was trying as hard as he could to take care of the customers ahead of me. My complaint was that the girl behind the deli case kept her back to the customers and kept cleaning on a slicer. I know that they need to be cleaned, but I think the customers should come first. I got home with no deli meat and now have to head to Publix deli to get what I want. "F" recommendation for the Greer Deli.

After a visit to Couture Cakes with my niece, her daughter…read moreand my sister, I stopped by The Fresh Market on Woodruff Rd. My niece had been telling me about how delicious the roasted chicken salad is at their deli. They just happen to be running a special in all of their salads. Buy a pound of chicken salad, seafood salad and tuna salad and get four count croissants. They did have the salad out in containers in ice, but you could also get it from the deli case. I looked at the ingredients and it has chicken breasts and chicken thigh meat. At my sister's suggestion I asked the man working in the deli if that chicken salad has the chicken thigh in it too, he told me that it did. This was a no go for me, I only like white meat chicken salad, and that's what I use when I make it myself. For what it cost, it should have been ALL WHITE meat. Though I didn't purchase any chicken salad, it was nice to browse around the store, to see the big selection of a lot of items not found at my ("big three" Publix, Ingles, and Aldi)grocery stores to shop in. I did find some frozen chicken tenders, that look really tasty on the box they are in. The chicken tenders will be on Sunday's dinner menu. If you haven't been to The Fresh Market, are craving good chicken salad and you don't have a chicken salad preference stop by and check them out.

Nobody smiling and lifeless. I drive by this place about 4 time a day and I absolutely refused to do business here from this experience. After many years, I gave this place another try. To my surprise it was a night and day difference from the first time I walked through the doors. A young lady at the entrance greeting you with a some samples and a big smile. Walked passed the bakery section and heard a very loud "how are you doing today". I almost passed out from someone actually speaking to me. I was in shock. This isn't the same place I visited when it first opened. I look around and see employees smiling and wanting to be there. In the distance I heard laughing coming from the deli and meat department. When I walked up, I was immediately greeted with a smile and asked if I needed any help. They were still in tears laughing by the way which was a nice feeling. So in a nut shell, this is what I think about Sprouts now. Great selection of products. The people are very nice. The Manager's Specials they have are amazing. I saw they had Rotisserie chicken for $.99 and some ham at the deli for $.50/lb. I'm a customer for life now and when I'm done shopping I go next door to Kairo's for a bite to eat.

I initially went there and was really impressed by the store. Sadly, I've had to return food there…read moretwice. The second time, that will be the last. I will not return to the store. I walked around the store and bought things on sale. Sadly, the sale prices that are posted is not how things ring up. The other problem, I bought a smoked chicken a whole chicken. I was very excited to get home and eat it. It wasn't fully cooked. I didn't realize and ate a chicken wing. I also bought a piece of cooked salmon. I'm not sure if it was the salmon or the chicken but all of a sudden I was so incredibly nauseous! Then I looked for my receipt. I had no memory of the cashier giving me a receipt. I looked through all my bags. I looked in my purse. I looked in my wallet. No receipt. Oh and I bought a bottle of evolution. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Opened it up when I got home and it was bitter, which meant it was going bad already. And I went directly from the store home so it didn't sit in my car and get warm. Since I didn't have a receipt and I felt I was overcharged... The charge of my credit card wasn't what I thought I had paid... I returned everything to the store. They were able to download my receipt. They did give me a complete credit for everything I bought. But there was something I went back and bought. Simple syrup mixers for alcoholic drinks. They were on sale for $2.99 and usually $4.35 or $4.50. My original purchase I had bought five. That's definitely a good deal and I use this product all the time. After returning everything, I went back to the shelves and grabbed two bottles of simple syrup. When I went to pay, here's a surprise: they rang up at full price. As I walked into the store, and as I walked out of the store, I kept telling people to check their receipts. It's very common for grocery stores to have sale prices posted, but not update their computer system and if you're not paying attention, you do not get the sale price. Well, sadly, I guess this is what this chain does. I hope the people who run this chain read my review. I hope they check how they cook their chickens in store and sell them as fully cooked. I know Costco and all the other grocery store chains do not sell undercooked hot chickens. Someone's not doing their job or they don't have their thermometers working. Very sad.
