I stopped by two different Publix stores to do a little shopping. The first one was at McBee Station, not far from my barber. I only needed a few things, white grapes and the BOGOFREE cocktail cucumbers. They had no grapes at all, and were out of the cucumbers as well. I did find some of the other things that I wanted. My next stop was at Schlotskys to get a salad for my dinner, so I stopped at Publix in Greer. I did find the grapes, and a few other things that I did not need. This was my first time shopping at this Publix, it was around 9 am so it wasn't crowded. I think it's an older Publix too, but it was clean, and the cashier at check out was very friendly. read more

This location isn't bad but it's on the smaller side so less options of stuff. The only issues I've had at this location is that I would order deli meat online so it would be ready to be picked up when requested and most of the time it's not ready and I'm having to wait 15 minutes for it. I like ordering online so I don't have to wait in line and sometimes I do because they don't put the order out even though it's ready. The staff isn't that friendly but they are ok. This has been the only publix I've been to where they don't offer to take groceries to the car. I do like that the store is pretty organized and things are fairly easy to find! read more

Love shopping at Publix. Stores are always clean and organized, always friendly staff willing to help you. Their meat is amazing, fresh produce is really fresh, and if I can't find something, they are always ready to help. They're a little pricey, so I have to shop the sale items. Even so, it's a great store and worth the trip. read more

Love Publix, HATE THE DELI. They're just rude for no reason. I understand they may be short staffed but that's not an excuse to be rude. Waited 30 mins patiently for two subs and then finally asked how much longer for the order just to get a nasty response, advising me that they're short staffed and VERY behind and that I needed to just wait. Wellllllllll I waited 30 mins as they took care of everyone in line and then continued to wait after I asked for the order and got a nasty response. A little kindness goes along way. read more

Clean and well Stocked. I always love a Publix and this one didn't disappoint. I find it very reassuring that the staff is taking the pandemic seriously and masks were worn Properly. Makes me feel Safer. read more

The pharmacy manager, Davetta, showed me the best service that I have received in a long time! She was so helpful and did not get irritated when I had questions about switching to a new medication! She was patient and she also had wonderful technicians! No doubt that I'll keep coming to this pharmacy as long as she is there! read more

The store is fine it has been my go to pharmacy for 20 year until now. the pharmacy staff was wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly. Now we don't even get a cutesy call when our prescriptions are read. read more

For me Publix falls somewhere between Walmart and Lowe's. Depending on when you go they seem to have different identities and land in different places on the scale. My last two visits were iffy at best. Prior to that they were a solid 4-4 1/2 star store. Tonight was another bad Publix's visit with hit or miss levels of stock, and few workers could be found. I guess that has to be expected on Friday night before New Year's Day; though many would plan for such a day. On a good note, the place was clean and with a lot of searching I found (unassisted) everything I needed. The thing is..this store is supposed to be my Anti-Walmart! Close to the house and everything you need at your fingertips. Tonight, though better that Walmart, they were painfully average. Average isn't worth the 20% premium over Walmart. Do better Publix or I'll drive 10 minutes up the road to Lowe's! With fairness in mind, I will review this Publix again next time and if deserving, I will adjust accordingly. For now they usher in the New Year as a 3-Star store. read more

This review is for the bakery only as we no longer use Publix to do our grocery shopping (too expensive). We did not want to order a fancy cake for our son's birthday and thought a simple one would be just right. We picked out a vanilla cake from the fridge case and even though we did not eat the cake until the next day the sponge held up very well and was yummy. Everyone complimented on the cake and that confirmed to me that we made the right choice not spending a ton of money on a cake my 3-year-old won't even remember. Sometimes it's the simple things in life that can make a moment just as special and sweet. All in all, Publix bakeries always deliver in quality and taste and would be one of my first choices for baked goodies. read more

Publix at south Batesville is so great, my 2 year old sometimes cry when we drive past it because he wants to go in! Everyone is always so kind and helpful, samples are always being given out, lines are minimal, produce is displayed beautifully, and everything is clean! Terrible customer service! My family and I have used this publix for YEARS and it just gets worse lately every time we go in. I am currently pregnant and I am receiving WIC. Well on multiple occasions when I use my wic vouchers I have been grunted at by employees and complained about while I'm trying to redeem my vouchers. Today has by far been the worst! I get in line and the cashier is rude from the start. He's mad and frustrated about having to do the wic vouchers. He goes over to the customer service counter and then comes back to me. Then a manager comes over and they were telling me I could not redeem my vouchers because I didn't have my signed booklet with me. I told them I could show my id, because my name is on the vouchers. They said no because they had to match the signature. Well my signature is on my id so not sure how that's not the same thing. Besides that I explained to them that I have never had this big of an issue and no one has ever made me show any type of id or any signature to redeem these. Even my mother who can redeem my vouchers in case of my absence has never had to even show her id. Then some man starts saying how if I would have come through his line I would have to show him my signature. Well I've been through his and that is not the case! The manager kept saying the wic office this, the wic office that, until finally I told her it's not the wic office it's them who's messing up! The rude manager told the guy to just go to customer service and ring us up there. She just left it up to him to fix it and deal with it. Save to say I'm very grateful the new Lowes Foods is next to my home because they have much better customer service and options. I can't remember the mans name that helped up at the end but he was very respectful and apologized again for the inconsistency and for the manager basically causing a scene and embarrassing my family and me in front of everyone in the store. The looks we got in and out were rude and I can't believe a manager would yell at people and had such a rude manner! Her name was Regina and she has made my family not ever want to come back to this store and just use Lowes from now on! The cashier was an older man who I don't know the name of either. And their is an older man than this one who works there and is consistently rude to my mother and we always avoid his line when we go in. Just very sad to see a place we have loved coming for years have such bad customer service for people who are receiving help like I am. read more

I have been using the pharmacy at Publix for several years now due to one of my prescriptions being filled free only for that one drug since I lived out of town and there was no local public. I relocated and moved all of my prescriptions to Publix. The service has become less than desired and Ken seems to think he is superior to his clients. He comes off as rude telling me that I have to continue to wait on him. I was there for something called in for me which only he can dispense. I waited the initial hour that I was told it would take. Now I am well into the second hour. It took months for me to get my prescriptions synced, then they failed to call saying they were ready. They put them back up. I moved my other prescriptions there because of the free lisonopril. I will be moving all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy soon. There are numerous options available that aren't jerks. read more
