I initially went there and was really impressed by the store. Sadly, I've had to return food there twice. The second time, that will be the last. I will not return to the store. I walked around the store and bought things on sale. Sadly, the sale prices that are posted is not how things ring up. The other problem, I bought a smoked chicken a whole chicken. I was very excited to get home and eat it. It wasn't fully cooked. I didn't realize and ate a chicken wing. I also bought a piece of cooked salmon. I'm not sure if it was the salmon or the chicken but all of a sudden I was so incredibly nauseous! Then I looked for my receipt. I had no memory of the cashier giving me a receipt. I looked through all my bags. I looked in my purse. I looked in my wallet. No receipt. Oh and I bought a bottle of evolution. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Opened it up when I got home and it was bitter, which meant it was going bad already. And I went directly from the store home so it didn't sit in my car and get warm. Since I didn't have a receipt and I felt I was overcharged... The charge of my credit card wasn't what I thought I had paid... I returned everything to the store. They were able to download my receipt. They did give me a complete credit for everything I bought. But there was something I went back and bought. Simple syrup mixers for alcoholic drinks. They were on sale for $2.99 and usually $4.35 or $4.50. My original purchase I had bought five. That's definitely a good deal and I use this product all the time. After returning everything, I went back to the shelves and grabbed two bottles of simple syrup. When I went to pay, here's a surprise: they rang up at full price. As I walked into the store, and as I walked out of the store, I kept telling people to check their receipts. It's very common for grocery stores to have sale prices posted, but not update their computer system and if you're not paying attention, you do not get the sale price. Well, sadly, I guess this is what this chain does. I hope the people who run this chain read my review. I hope they check how they cook their chickens in store and sell them as fully cooked. I know Costco and all the other grocery store chains do not sell undercooked hot chickens. Someone's not doing their job or they don't have their thermometers working. Very sad. read more

What a beautiful market! A beer counter with tasty IPAs so that you can have a drink and shop. The quality is fantastic and so is the selection; wine, beer, beautiful produce and proteins. This is hands down my favorite place to shop ever. I adore the layout, shelves are always full, store is always clean and the cashiers and stockers are friendly, kind, and helpful. The quality of the produce is great, and they have a fantastic selection of all my favorite foods. Several times I forget to pick an item up at checkout the cashier will literally run after me to make sure I get it. I'm grateful to live nearby so I can go here every time. read more

I am super impressed with Lowes Foods. I entered the store through the floral department and was struck by the rainbow roses, I browsed the other plants and loved the price points and quality. I found my way to the beer den and love the cozy nook with a palmetto painted on the brick wall, I could definitely see myself enjoy a local brew here during the generous happy hour. I was happy to see a great variety of drafts available, cider, stout, ipa, gose... I love they offered to sample anything. Growler fills also available. At the chocolate and coffee shop I was excited to discover the chocolate is imported from Belgium. The coffee beans roasting in store and incredibly fragrant teas were lush. They offer pour overs and espresso drinks. The produce department was astounding because they will cutting or spiralizing my veggies in store and create fresh juice! The spice bazaar is cool with several flavors I'm excited to try, the butcher is impressive with its smoker, the bakery has beautiful cakes with butter icing (classic vanilla is tops), and the sandwich and hot wing shops have awesome ready to devour meals. The salt and vinegar wings were surprisingly wonderful! To top it off, every employee was a joy to speak with and the store manager is great. You can tell these hosts all enjoy their job which is something I want to support. read more

Lowe's has done a fine job focusing on customer experience. Unlike most grocery runs where the goal is a quick in and out, Lowe's offers the ambiance, optics, smells and offerings that places one in a more relaxed state. I enjoyed the stop at the coffee center where I engaged in a delightful discussion with the baristas on the various coffees and their origins. These employees were very knowledgeable and engaged. I was drawn to the sausage and meat area. The store carries several types of fresh link sausage, barbeque, hams and steaks. Some of the foods are pre-cooked for take out. I found the prices quite reasonable. The breads and bakery shop is a necessary stop. I picked up a fresh baked loaf of a apple cinnamon bread. It is simply awesome. The salad bar is well stocked. The food station offered several carry-out items to make dinner time a bit easier. While I did not sample the beer, the selection is excellent, as are the made to order sandwiches. The philly steak sandwich looked scrumptious. Lowe's is a fine store concept. Every employee is courteous and helpful. I'll be back. read more

Being one who considers herself a smart shopper, I wasn't expecting to like this store as much as I did. But just like Fresh Market, Trader Joes, and the like, it's easy to spend more than you think you will just because of the variety and unique products that are offered. Hub and I were moderately impressed with the fresh coffee beans, dry aged meats, and abundant produce by the time we rounded the third aisle or so. And then, when he walked away for a few minutes and returned with a beer for him and a mimosa for me, I was sold! Shopping IS a pleasure (sorry, Publix) when you can sip and shop. And then the prices start to not look so bad. Smart move, Lowes. In actuality, the prices aren't that bad. There were even a few BOGO deals, in addition to lower prices for using your Lowes card. If you're on a budget, you just have to be price conscious when you go. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the young cashier who was distracted and seemed less than thrilled with his job. Overall, the store was certainly not as friendly as Publix or other grocery stores I've frequented. This place is probably my favorite grocery store in Greenville/Greer. Does it help that it's just down the street from me? Sure! But that's besides the point. Every weekend they are firing up the smoker in the parking lot. So you can definitely smell something delicious before you go inside. When you enter they have a nice little coffee shop to get your day started. The produce next to it has a lot of fresh fruit cut up for on the go. They even have a little Herb Garden that you can pick them fresh to purchase. Traveling further up through the store you have a great assortment of wines. My wife loves the cupcake brand. So I am always able to get that here. In the meats department they also have ribs, sausages, pepper steak, and pork sandwiches hot and ready to go. They'll do BOGO free every so often so look out for that. The bakery seems like they know their stuff but I haven't really ordered anything from them. But the one thing that separates this place from the others? You can stop by the Beer Den and get a drink. Heck! You can drink while your shopping there! That's not why I go there so often... but you get the picture. Did I mention they have curbside pick up for mobile grocery orders? Ya this place has it all. Lowe's is a high end supermarket offering multiple options. It is similar to Whole Foods and Harris Teeter. It is in my neighborhood almost walking distance from my home. What I like best is the cheese selection. It constantly changes, but still has the old reliables always available. The store brands are very good also. The wine selection is great for reliable brands. There is an in-house beer den so you can have a cool one while you shop. You can snip your own herbs when you need just enough. All in all, a great shopping experience and for me the best of convenience. read more

The workers are happy to speak to each other and move floats around for them but heaven forbid they greet me or look me in the eye or help me maneuver around their floats and carts while i'm trying to shop. There are never any baggers. If i'm spending over $100 after an already annoying shopping experience, I now don't want to bag my own groceries. I'm fed up on this Monday morning! read more

Evening meal from the deli, eaten on site prior to grocery shopping: the meatloaf was overcooked leaving it dry and burned on the bottom and tasting so bad even ketsup couldn't save it from going straight to trash. Both sides, while we'll prepared, we're barely warm rendering them unpleasant to eat. The highlight was the cornbread which was excellent even if cold and without condiments. We won't eat from that side of the deli again as we've found the sandwiches & pizza from the other side to be outstanding. The availability of and single servicing from the store to accompany the meals is a big plus. read more

I am absolutely in love with this grocery store! You walk in and it is very clean and I'm almost overwhelmed by where to start! So I start off in the produce (huge selection and a herb garden!) and work my way around that way. I must have looked like a kid in a candy shop! Everything was just so exciting especially the cheese display and the holy grail of wine selection, it was beautiful lol! I love they have their own coffee selection as well, it smelled amazing! They have a big selection of meat they prepare there and smoke, which just fills the store with this aroma of deliciousness. I love even more there's a button center right in front of the meat counter for kids to push and if you walk back the sign above moves and makes noises! Fun idea for the kids to keep entertained at the store. I finally make my way down to the left side, and wow is all I could say! A cakery, bakery, sandwich and pizza deli, and are you ready for this?...A BEER DEN!? Yes, and you can have yourself a glass while you're walking around shopping. There's a huge selection of beer on the floor and in the Den on tap you can fill with a Growler! This makes me a real happy customer! I love the Pimento cheese selection and a pretty good selection of pickles. There's a chicken kitchen where you can have all assortments of chicken..fried, rotisserie, and chicken salad with sides! I love that it is hormone free and raised in SC! The floor has a trail of chicken feet on the floor that leads you there, my daughter got a kick out of that! Ok so this could go on and on, so I'll end it here with service is very friendly, price is higher but you're getting Locally Grown and Raised, which that's worth it! This is so much more than just a grocery store. This place has a large selection of high quality food, the international cheese selection is better than any other store in the area. they have a huge bakery and a candy shop with an amazing assortment of premade desserts, fresh herbs, a high quality meat and fish section where they make their own BBQ rubs, make their own sausage, etc. the wine selection is outstanding. they also have an olive bar, a deli and build your own a sandwich counter. They also have a beer counter where you can sit and drink microbrews. Lowe's carries plenty of vegan and organic brands as well. It is clean, the employees are friendly, and it has everything for a selective pallette. It is not cheap and it's not the place I would go to buy toilet paper but it is a treasure and I absolutely love it. read more

Not your regular grocery store. Every corner starting from the Beer Den to Sausage Works is custom designed as per the products they display. According to the manager, the custom interiors were created by designers from Disney. The collection of fruits and vegetables is pretty good. The Smoked Meats and the Bakery products are pretty amazing. The customer service is spot on and the store associates are very friendly. My favorite grocery store ever since it opened. The decor is just so cute!! Fresh, fresh food. I love the freshly squeezed juices and the little garden where you cut your own herbs! So convenient! The bakery is a delicious must, cake squares are $1 each! A nice, cheap treat. Sushi Wednesday's are also amazing, $5 for certain rolls! I come from NY. The big boy up there is chain called Wegmans. Lowes Foods feels like the southern version of Wegmans. They off incredible choice and selection. They support local businesses. They offer services that no other stores in the upstate offer (at least not that I know of) including a bar. The Lowe's Food discount card can really being you bill down. The meat department is first class and best in class. The bakery is also amazing and the salas bar is killer great produce. Just a pleasure to shop there. read more

Wow! I like this market. Everything you'd ever want, many things house-made. Try the tre leche cake from the cakery. Yum yum yum. They also have a smokehouse, deli, a bread bakery, a hot foods section, a fresh fish and seafood market, a butcher shop, and the regular stuff any market has. A tad pricey but a very pleasant, clean place to shop. I keep going back, even though it's not the most conveniently located place for me to shop. read more

This is my second week in a row coming to this location and I only came to pick up a Western Union the first week I came. They told me they hadn't set up the new system yet the second time I come there discussing who gets off first so they can decide who has to help me then they tell me they don't know how to do Western Union because they don't have a number and Western Union closes at 6 PM. The lady that told me this was an older woman I came in on a Thursday night and she told me she couldn't do my money order. Very disappointing. I came in at 7:30.
