The grocery store is good but the pharmacy is not. Doctor called in a prescription a day ago and it's still not ready & is a common medicine, nothing exotic. . The female tech with the gray pageboy hair was very snippy and not helpful. Finally found out "might" be ready after 5:00 tonight. Luckily I had been given a written prescription also so took that to Walgreens down the street and was filled in 20 minutes. Skip rude Ingles pharmacy and head over to helpful Walgreens! read more

Nice store. Had everything we needed. Good produce and meats. Lots of parking. Easy access.

OMG truly one of the best grocery stores EVER! Super clean and customer service top notch. Their selection of hot foods is honestly the best I've seen. We were in town and Ingles was right down the street from our stay. I had the hot meal Mac and cheese and it had soul!!! Chefs kiss, it was soooo amazing. The entire store is so well kept. I wish they had ingles in Florida cause Publix is over priced. read more

Store manager would not let us return meat that says sell by the 9th it is currently the ninth. The meat was kept cold and was bought two days before. He was questioning us and said this was too far gone! But why is the sell by day the 9th? You would sell this product in store apparently. He took it from us and didn't give us a refund for it. So excited for the new Publix coming! There return policy is so simple and they don't question you or give you a hassle:) Also there customer service is UNMATCHED read more

Ingles - Drugstores Near Me - Cashiers, North Carolina

Your typical Ingles, lower quality and service than a Public or Kroger, but lower prices as well. The younger (most likely teen) cashier simply stated at me instead of telling me my total and to swipe my card - not sure what the deal was there. Additionally, I was always told by my Grandma to check the sell by dates on the items they sell. as I was checking out, the man in front of me was trying to get his money back for some expired fruit. I found that slightly entertaining. read more

Very nice store with something for everyone (even a Starbucks inside if you're into that). As vegans we found everything we needed and even better options than our Publix in South Florida. All employees were nice and helpful as well. read more

This was not a pleasant shopping experience. And mostly I think it's just because the store has been neglected. A lot of inventory was out of stock, and the store furnishings felt a little dirty and dusty. The grocery carts' wheels were really squeaky too. Again, maybe they just need a little tlc here. There were a lot of people in the store, at all times. In fact it was busier than every business I visited in this small town!? The self checkout moved relatively quickly but the lines with staff members were long. I liked that they had some local products (Biltmore wine for example). read more

Right down the street from where we stay in Cashiers! While this isn't our Publix in Florida, it is the next best thing. They have everything you could need, an amazing, and I do mean AMAZING produce section, a large deli and hot bar, a fine meats and seafood section and of course everything else. The folks at the registers are always happy to help if you forget your ingles card. If you don't have one, get one, keep it safe (Especially if you're only up there once a year or so) because that card keeps your prices down. read more

Large clean grocery store with wide variety of fresh and frozen food. Awesome variety of hot food and cold sandwiches. Delicious inexpensive breakfast menu which changes daily. read more

Ingles - History of grocery store - Drugstores Near Me - Cashiers, North Carolina

If you're from down south, you'll know what I mean when I say this place compares favorably to Publix. I'm a total Publix snob and I definitely love Ingles. This place has a HUGE fresh deli area with chicken wings, olives, and dozens of other items. The beer and wine selection is good (brand new as of 6 months ago - thank you county commision!) read more

Although the selection of grocery items is very good, beware of the accuracy of your receipt! I have NEVER been to this store without major errors on the pricing of items on my receipt. Today the overcharge on two items was over $6.00. When I called to report the overcharge, they had no interest in correcting the discrepancy in their computer. Bad customer service. Always check your receipt here! read more

I love Publix and this is as close as you can get. They have a full Starbucks inside with free WiFi and everything else a Publix has. If you can't find it in Ingles, you probably don't need it. BUY THE: house brand Laura Lynn Natural peanut butter. You have to stir it but it has intense flavor and no waxy taste like most brands have. read more

NO MASK NEEEDED Required but if it is I forced what is the sense Just changed my review This is the second week that we have been there and there are people not wearing a mask Today there were at least 5 people not wearing mask Spoke to manager and she said corporate told them not to do anything about it Very disappointing We won't be going back read more

Rude workers. I waited for someone to help in the fish department. Workers saw me waiting, but took time to finally wait on me. I asked when the salmon came in and the response was "It's been here.". Asked another worker where I could find chicken gravy. First he said "What" and I repeated my question. He never once looked at me, just said Aisle 6. Went to check out. No one at the open register. Went to another register with a customer with large order in front of me when I noticed the worker was back at the other opened register. Walked over there and the cashier went off to chat with two workers at the self check. I waited for her, but she was oblivious to a waiting customer at her register. I left. read more

Ingles in Cashiers is bright, clean, and well stocked with a variety of items so it's exactly what you want in a grocery market! They also have a good selection of beer and wine and the pork chops we got from their deli were great. I also recommend their house brand pimento cheese as it's actually made with sharp cheddar (which is what you want) and not Velveeta like some inferior brands use. Enjoy with Triscuits! read more

Good grocery in the Cashier's area. Always busy and bustling during the season. The produce has always been good on my visits and I've found a lot of organic / clean items for my allergy fella. They have a movie rental box in the store for travelers needing one. They also have a well staffed mini Starbucks in house with some baked goods. Cake pops for the win with my kids! Seriously there were 4 employees in that small space so your wait was non-existent when I popped in. I'm sure it can get busy at peak times. Very good customer service throughout the store. read more

This place had everything!! I was just a tourist, but everyone I came into contact with made it feel like home!! Excellent produce and meat sections. Very fresh!! read more

An unexpected, pleasant surprise to find such a quality supermarket hidden in Cashiers. We were concerned that we wouldn't be able to find organic half and half for our coffee. Not only do they have organic dairy products, the store has a wide selection of organic/natural foods. Produce is fresh and good quality. Only items that disappointed were the deli sides and bakery desserts. Not as good as Publix back home. read more

Let's me just say... their chocolate raisins will always have a special place in my heart

We were REALLY impressed by this local market! I was not expecting to find a ton of organic/ clean eating options here given the lack of them elsewhere in Highlands...I was so wrong!! I found things I haven't been able to find at Whole Foods or Sprouts here in progressive Raleigh NC. They had a really generous selection of organic produce, and I even found JustEgg which is a LEGIT egg substitute I've been searching high and low for. This market is the one way we'd be happy to stay in Highlands again...vegan options for us to cook at home, since the restaurants are a bit slow on the uptake in that department. read more

Ingles offers, virtually, everything a "big city" store might offer. I am, particularly, impressed, with their pharmacy. The staff is, more than accommodating. Those, of us, who spend the Summer, in the Highlands-Cashiers area are very fortunate. read more

The grocery store is large and has just about anything you want. But on New Year's Day (when practically every restaurant in this town was closed for dinner) we were forced to eat at Ingles for dinner. The kids were happy bc there were so many options. Other than the salad and olive bar (which were fresh and had many options) the prepared food was absolutely terrible. I mean- how do you screw up friend chicken tenders?!?!? read more

The store was well stocked and clean. They had a great selection of meat (they call your name when your deli order is ready to avoid lines). Had a great bulk food selection (packaged the scoop-able nuts.... for safety. Yeah, this store is as good or better than Publix, which is a great chain. Store is super clean and well stocked. All Ingles stores are laid out pretty much the same and all have items you do not find at most stores. read more

Echoing Matt, we are from Florida and this location compares very favorably to Publix. It had a wide variety and and the staff was extremely pleasant to interact with. Great bakery and deli sections as well as fresh produce and meats. They also have a Starbucks, which was a nice surprise due to their location. Highly recommend !!! read more

This Ingles in Cashiers is a great store, prices aren't always the best but the quality and variety of items are excellent. The summer months and holidays can be a bit hectic and the store gets overly crowded quickly. They also have a pharmacy inside so you can fill your meds while stocking up on your favorite grub. Most of the employees are extremely helpful, some aren't the friendliest and sometimes you just have to smile and try to brighten their day! One of the best items in the store is their homemade guacamole, if you love guacamole I seriously suggest you give theirs a whirl, it's a staple in my house! read more

I mean, fine as a grocery store probably, but don't bother going to their cafe for food. We got there in what we thought was plenty of time before their hot bar closed. Asked what time they normally closed and the woman working told us "7:30". It was 6:45. Not because of any reason in particular, nothing was broken, just cuz, I guess. Which is indicative of lazy management to me. Good times. read more

For all you people out there who think this is a great store. You better check your expiration dates. Ingles is notoriously known for dumping close to old stock at this store. Check your labels. And check labels from other ingle stores. You will notice that since this is ingles busiest store. All old comes here. I guess that's the Ingles Advantage they talk about. Quite a large turnover also. Wonder why read more

This is a fantastic store for a small community and has a selection better than many of the grocery stores in the Charleston SC market area.

Overall great grocery store- if you're heading up to this area for a getaway this is a great place to stock up on your groceries for your stay. They have everything- from boars head meats to pizzas to Starbucks, great wide selection... I will say our cashier was absolutely terrible! She sounded like she hated life or at least her job. We tried to chit chat but it was like pulling teeth and she seemed totally miserable. That leaves a bad taste in your mouth when it's your last impression of the store- haha- but overall, excellent place to stock up!- ps- beware, the ABC store across the street closes at 7pm! So crazy early! ... Yep! You're welcome! :) read more

Produce is great, selections are normally very fresh. The deli is good, hours vary sometimes with the subs and hot bar. Publix seems to be somewhat better when it comes to employee attitudes. read more

Awesome grocery store! Very clean and great selection of products. The people ruined this experience for me. The customer service manager checked me out and no hello, just do you have a rewards card, not another word the whole time. She looked miserable. I kindly thanked the bagger who wouldn't make eye contact, ignored me, and shoved my bags at me. Shame for such a nice store to have such awful employees. read more

Lately, everything is wrong with this store. The produce department is always a mess with produce all over the floor. The produce is not always fresh. Food that is way past due and rotten is left out. Expiration dates need to be checked. The worst thing I experienced was yesterday. I bought a bottle of Laura Lynn Chili sauce. I didn't want the store brand but that is all they had. I poured out the whole bottle in to the cocktail meatballs I was making and out came a large piece of green plastic. It looks like what the seal is on the bottle cap before it is shrink wrapped. Totally disgusting!!! read more
