The bleach blonde lady older lady that is is so rude I don't even understand why she even has a job being in customer service. I was in line waiting at the sign that they say Wait here until you're called but since there is nobody in line I went ahead and I walked up to that register and I was yelled at demeaning and I've never been treated like that in a store before in my life. I don't know what her name is but she was at register 4 and like I said I walked up and she yelled at me and said "I did not call you up, so you need to back up to the sign and wait for me to call you"!!! Like I said I've never been so embarrassed in my life and treated like a child when I'm 80 years old and some woman wants a treat customers like that??? I will call corporate and make it complaint because this is totally uncalled for and like I said never in my life have I treated been treated like that by any store how dare you treat me let alone anyone like that EVER!!!!! read more

GATLINBURG BEWARE! A whole family came in on 7/13/20 VISIBLY SICK into Walgreens during Covid-19 and NO ONE TOOK THEIR TEMP, SANITIZED, or cleaned after they went through the entire store, stood in line, and paid. They coughed, sneezed, and were clearly sick the whole family.. we left and cleaned/sanitized ourselves after seeing this just to be safe. This is sickening and no one took the time to clean or sanitize or even ASK THEM TO LEAVE. Staff was rude and did not care about anything (clearly) and put the rest of the customers at risk of getting sick. Especially during these times right now we need to be cleaning, sanitizing, and looking out for one another... DO NOT GO HERE! They do not care about any of the CDC rules and regulations and they just care about $$$ read more

This is the only store I went to on Black Friday and it was pleasant, and the sales were pretty good too. It was extremely busy but getting in and out was a breeze. Our cashier was the best. She was attentive and helpful. We were wandering around the store trying to figure out if we had everything we needed for the cabin. She treated us like we were her only customers and she did so without infringing on the other customers. Our cashier has the fundamentals down for providing the best service; she certainly has a knack for providing great customer service. It was a very good experience. read more

Even though I've read so many negative reviews at this Walgreens I will tell you that there is one employee, Lori, that has been there and I see her many times a week always has a smile, helping others (multitasking) while continuing to get customers in and out as quick as possible but with great customer service. It's not her fault when others don't read the sign on the door because it's so small When she has to refuse a public restroom in this particular store. There are no public restrooms due to the fact that they are up in the stock room as what she told me is the reason and can't have people going up and down the elevator. She makes sure that everybody knows where the closest restroom is no matter what. Walgreens corporation needs to update their websites as to the hours that this particular store in Gatlinburg is opened as well as parking directions for customers that are just driving there just to go to that store without having to pay 20 bucks. As well as Walgreens corporation needs to update the photos because the store no longer has fresh fruits and vegetables let alone groceries that other stores and larger locations carry. So nice to have a fully stocked Walgreens middle of downtown Gatlinburg! This store offers your typical variety of food, cosmetics, photo booth, pharmacy, and other things Walgreens. While Walgreens is always a bit more money for their items, I was please to see that this location didn't increase the prices even more. For example, you can grab a bottled water for a little over $1 for those hot days in Gatlinburg. Unfortunately, we needed to make a visit for cough medicine because my youngest is developing congestion and had trouble sleeping last night. It was nice to be able to find something, like being at home. Also the clerk checking us out was so sweet to him and kept saying that she hoped he felt better soon. read more

This Walgreens is on a power trip I don't understand how this Walgreens feel it can sell certain items at ridiculously high prices that border on criminal. I then pulled out a reciept I just happened to have from a store I was at on Maryland blvd & showed it to her explaining that I DID NOT have a coupon then either and the store had a sales paper to accomodate me. She said she couldnt help me. I told her get the mgr. The mgr came and explained that I needed to have a coupon. I showed her my reciept and told her I've NEVER heard of a Walgreens that didnt have a sales paper to accomodate customers and went on to say QUITE LOUDLY that all they were doing was "gouging tourist" by not honoring their weekly sales paper or making it available. Only Walgreens in this town. So you have to go this one. BUT sadly the staff works there are racist. Not friendly to minority. I was trying to purchase a six-packs beer with a friend but I am the only one to pay it. They said it's state law we have to show both IDs. Ok fine. My friend went to car to grab her ID. And we JOINED the line again. But funny thing is: there was a daddy buying beer with his son and daddy just let his son go in front of the cashier. And waited him by the front door. (Why I can not do the same thing with my friend?????) right. Cause he is a white daddy. Double standards with Asian ppl for sure. Especially when Asian wear masks during this time. I questioned the clerk about why the white daddy can do that and we need to provide all IDs. Then she refused to sell the beer for me. So be careful! If you wanna be treated like nothing. Staff very rudely refused restroom access in an emergency. Their excuse is that the city provides access to public restrooms...thanks great advise in an emergency situation. Had to run 2 blocks to find a store with a restroom. I had actually stopped into the Walgreens specifically to shop for sundries and paid $10 to park in the lot next to this place but won't be spending a penny at any Walgreens from here on out. read more

Well, that was easier then anticipated! I for one will be stopping here more often now that I know about their secret parking lot and gas station like coffee and snack supply. In a pinch, it wont be such a pain to for me to grab Advil and a coffee. The parking is not really a secret as much as less obvious. It is free for 30 minutes, to customers only, in a small garage behind store, couched between paid parking garages. There is an elevator into the store. Prices may be a little higher here, since rent is ridiculously high in the 'burg. Being able to get in and out even in peak season is worth it to me. But what do I know? I just live here. read more

My family and I were visiting and stopped at this Walgreens to get a few items, one of which was beer. We waited in line and when we got to the register my mother in law handed her ID to the clerk. The clerk then asked for MY ID as well (which I left in the car). My MIL asked the clerk why she needed my ID as well if she was the one buying the beer. The clerk told us that was HER policy. Not the store policy, HER policy. So I ran back out to my car to grab my ID and when I came back there were about 10-15 people who had entered the line. The clerk then told us we had to get back in line when my MIL had been standing there the entire time. We left the beer at the register and left. We are Hispanic and I can't help but wonder if our race had something to do with the way we were treated! read more

I had to have a prescription changed while I was on vacation. After receiving my order I noticed that the office had sent in my old prescription by mistake. The pharmacist was great. She refund what I had gotten. I called the medical office and got the mistake corrected and I had expected to have a long wait since the pharmacy had to get the order then fill it but I only waited about 7 minutes and I had my new order and was on my way. I would give a negative review if I could right now! On vacation and ran out of a medication. My regular pharmacy would not refill early... Called my Dr.s office Friday morning and had my med called in. I went later to pick it up and was told the pharmacy part is closed all weekend!!! He also added they are barely open for the week. Could not find that posted anywhere. Being in the middle of the strip would've thought it a perfect location to bail out tourists in need of medication.
