Huge shout out to Terry in the pharmacy! We were down here and had a child sick with Flu-B. I called hoping Kroger had a "minute clinic", they did not. However, Terry looked up a near by urgent care facility, gave me the address and the time they closed. After securing a prescription I called back to see if they had it the med in stock. This Kroger isn't far from the hotel that I typically stay in, when I'm working in Arlington. I don't have any real complaints about the store, it's Kroger, just like any other. My biggest complaint is that all of the times I've been there, I feel like the store isn't that clean. I'm sure it probably has something to do with it's an older Kroger, but it always seems like it's kind of dirty and a little unorganized. I think if they added better lighting inside and out, that might help the situation. However, again it's a Kroger and I've pretty much always been able to get whatever I needed from there. read more

I had to go here pretty much everyday to stock up our house we rented in the mountains. It definitely is an adventure walking through the isles but they had everything we needed, especially an impressive organic selection. It definitely is not as clean as a publix and a lot of their racks were empty. I noticed a lot of people going as a family shopping but I guess it's because it's a touristy spot. Their staff is super nice and helpful. Also love the fact alcohol is sold in store (not available where I live in most stores). read more

Store purposely doesn't carry smaller sizes of certain things like sugar etc, also put high prices on spices etc to harpoon you being a tourist. Food City is also around here and it is cheaper in almost every way. Putting this out there to help some other visitors to the area. read more

Having shopped at Kroger back home I was familiar with them so I chose to do our vacation grocery shopping with them. I started having a panic attack before I got out of my car. Not a single patron was wearing a mask. (Not Kroger's fault) BUT, no one was sanitizing cart. A few of the employees were wearing a mask, but all of them were wearing it down past their nose and actually removed it when talking to people. There were no "one way" signs on any of the isles. Some of the employees were wearing face shields, but I witnessed one take it off to sneeze then cough INTO HIS HANDS, then go back to moving some stuff in the meat area. The checkout lady trash talked me to the lady in front of me because I was wearing a mask and openly talked about Covid being a hoax. Their food selection was almost completely picked through; their seafood unappealing and old looking. If you go grocery shopping, DONT GO HERE. There is another place just a little further down the same road that is actively taking COVID precaution and have a much better selection of foods. SHAME ON KROGERS!!!!!!!! read more

I came here to pick up a few items while on vacation and was pretty displeased with my trip here. The isles are extremely narrow and hardly fit two people with carts going in either direction which makes social distancing difficult, but also is a downright annoyance. The shelves weren't stocked well and there were pallets of items just left in the isles blocking access to certain parts of the shelves and also restricting the already narrow isles. Next time I'm down here, I'll go to the Publix down the the road, which has proven to be a better grocery shopping experience than this Kroger. read more

It's a hometown grocery store near a tourist area, the selection is good and we go to this location on every visit. The staff is friendly and the deli is large. Prices are not inflated due to location. The only complaint would be the alcohol selection yet they have a good selection of beer and wine. read more

This is the Kroger that seemingly services all of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, located right smack dab in the middle of the main strip in Pigeon Forge. You would think that with the amount of tourists, let alone locals, that shop here that it would be much bigger..like a Kroger Marketplace or something..but it's not, it's just a run of the mill mid sized Kroger..and it's always packed obviously. The place is nice, clean, and well stocked. We usually stop by a couple times throughout our trips here to pick up random necessitates, or ingredients for meals we plan to make. For the most part they have a lot of what we are looking for, or at least something comparable. No real complaints about the place..I just really think they should consider rebuilding it as a Marketplace..so it wouldn't always be so crowded. read more

What's not to love about Kroger? It was good to find a location in my latest vacation spot, Pigeon Forge. Now that the area has a Publix though, I hope that Kroger isn't over shadowed, because the Publix is super close to this location. Publix is on the main strip but this Kroger is on a side street, by Mel's Diner. Do yourself a favor and pass Publix by and head to this Kroger. I was there to pick up a prescription that my doctor called in while I was on vacation, so I can't speak too much on the grocery side of things. This location is super small compared to the ones in my city, so you won't find your typical marketplace Kroger store items. We were there on Thanksgiving Eve and there seemed to be hundreds of people getting last minute items, pushing past people in true holiday fashion. Download the Kroger app. You can store your Kroger Plus card on your app and have them scan the bar code instead, that's what I do. read more

This is the worst Kroger location I've been to. After trying to help the cashier see some items on the bottom of the cart, she became visibly and inexplicably angry and rude. She commanded that I leave the items there with a terrible attitude. After trying once again to be nice and apologise for my apparent wrong-doing, the cashier and the bagger both appeared to mumble angrily to one another. The cashier had no face mask, and was thus disobeying the store's own policy. Neither of these staff members seemed very happy to be at their job. I won't be back to this dump next time I'm in Pigeon Forge. read more

Positive experience with a lot of choices and polite staff. I did not spend a lot of time inside however i got what I was looking for and quality food. They did not have corona beer that's way I give them only 4 stars. If you are new to this neighborhood or out of state you can check for yourself if this location works for you. We end up going here when we are in town, and they have everything you need. And definitely wear your glasses, men, because this place is cleavage city. This well-stocked Kroger store was our best friend while on vacation in the area. Close to our cabin and had pretty much everything we needed. Good selection of produce and various proteins. The only problem was that it seemed like the only large store in the area -- without wanting to get on one of the main highways and fight traffic. So it was packed every time we went -- lines were long, several of them not open. If you don't feel like dealing with eating out - you can get a good grocery run in here and have yourself pretty stocked up for the week. read more

They even took time out to sing my friend a happy birthday while preparing his latte. Later that night, I ran in here with my bathing suit dripping wet from the jacuzzi where we were staying. Being a Vegetarian staying the weekend in Pigeon Forge I stopped here to stock up on some protein and fresh fruit to supplement the carb only complimentary breakfast at the hotel. I arrived at Starbucks for a quick run in. They two workers there were extremely rude. They acted, talking, and very much looked like lazy sloths. They reminded me of maggots. I felt like I was in a zootopia scene. When we got our drinks (15 minutes later) they were super off. I ordered 2 strawberry refreshers and they gave me lemonade and a croissant. As I was waiting, someone else came to order and they got on there's right away. I am devastated with the service I received today. I have been placing my order on line and picking it up due to the virus, but since an employee has already died with the virus there, Kroger posted how they were handling the virus in a responsible way and taking measures to provide for their customers' safety, and so I went there today to shop. About half the customers were not wearing a mask even though we have a county mandate in place. My cashier was not wearing a mask. She didn't even have one in sight. read more

When walking in the store me and my husband were stopped by a lady. She was sitting in a booth that looked like an information desk. She asked if we were traveling and I said yes. I assumed she would give us some brochures and some ideas of where to go. Not even close. She insulted my marriage, and harassed us with information about some hotel we cared nothing about. We tried to be polite but she was rude and pushy. I know she isn't an employee of Kroger, but she is in the building and makes me not want to go back. Every brand out there has a high end and a low end in regards to the stores that represent them. This is one of THE best Kroger's you'll ever run across, very clean and well organized with a great emphasis on customer service. If you're not familiar with Kroger in general then let me enlighten you, they are a mid to high end grocery store with the best meats you can find. They are not the cheapest around but you'll find quality over quantity here. You'll also get fresh vegetables and good prices, but most importantly you'll get way above average customer service that will keep you coming back. I always look forward to visiting when I am in town. They have a huge health food section. They have a lot of hard to find healthy products.

We went here to stock up on groceries when we stayed in a cabin nearby. At 9 at night, it was busy, and it was obvious the employees were sick of it. Any questions were ignored, and we asked an older lady if she could help, glared at us, and in a bitter and blunt tone said "I'm on break. Find someone else." Eventually a manager helped us.
