Walmart located in popular Sevierville that my family and I stopped at to grab some cabin necessities while on a weekend Getaway. The store itself is very spacious and looked to be well maintained and stocked. Plenty of workers in all areas to assist if need be. Overall a solid wal mart that served its purpose. At the entrance was a coupon guide and trip planner area with discounted ticket sales for all the nearby attractions. We was on our last night in town and only in town for our daughters cheer so we passed on that. But it a cool idea to have at a wal mart. read more

Clean store. A lot of variety. I was able to find everything I needed with no issue. My biggest problem is them having the Wyndham scammers at the door. They suckered us into one of their programs, but used my information without my knowledge or consent to sign up for a credit card after we expressed we did not want to sign up for their program or have any hits on our credit. They claimed they wouldn't. 5 minutes after we left I got the notifications from my credit monitoring of them getting an application in my name. What?! I didn't authorize that! So while it's not Walmart who did this, they are allowing them space to do this and operate within their business which means the support this type of behavior. read more

It doesn't get worse than this. Waited well over an hour for a pickup order after it had already been delayed over an hour and now said it was ready. They had ONE girl running the orders with all 20+ pickup parking spots filled, and then when I called to check on the order, was met with hostility! I will always frequent a Walmart in any city, state , town . This one is very busy and out of items . In the four days we were here I had to substitute everything I needed. Messy store. Unhelpful employees. Don't go close to closing. I came in here for 2 items at 9:30pm on a Monday evening. After I had been in the store a few minutes the employees made an announcement saying the doors were going to be locked at 10pm even though the place is supposed to be open until 11pm. So tho of course causes a PANIC and EVERYONE in the store gets in the 4 open lines at once. I went to the customer service desk because usually they will let you check out there. This Walmart is another story. We came super late like around 11 or midnight. There was sooooo many people there... I mean thousands of people. Such a cluster F. The next day we did an order for pickup for ponchos and a few other items. We went to pick it up... they didnt message up like they are suppose to if they don't have an item. We waited at least a half hour and they didnt come out yet. I went in and asked where isle I33 was where ponchos were. I asked 4 employees and no one knew even when I showed them the map because it went up to I33 because it was a side isle. It was at least an hour later the guy came out and told us the items were out of stock. read more

Walmart is almost always better prices than most other stores but quality is another issue. When I know what's good and what's not, it becomes more useful. Used the vision center for the first time and glasses are fine and totally worth it. Grocery shopping is more reasonable on most things. Comparing quality is the best way to shop. read more

We stop at this Walmart every time we come to the Smoky Mountains. At one time, this was the highest selling Walmart in total sales in Tennessee. It may still be but they still sell a lot of stuff today. Service is above normal at this location. I always get waited on within a reasonable time when I visit. They have a great big parking lot and this is where I shop at when I camp out in the area. I usually bar b w while camping in the Smokies. This is definitely a Walmart that is going to be stiff on parking due to the fact that you are in the Gatlinburg Sevierville pigeon Forge area. This Walmart is very touristy along with a whole lot of weird looking locals! Isn't a bad thing but definitely something to look out for. They are definitely stocked with wine beer and all the amenities to ready you for your cabin trip on the weekend or vacation. There are many options close by such as Publix and Kroger but this is your one stop shop for all around ease! The staff is mostly nonexistent as they must be busy with stocking items for tourist year round. The only associates i was able to locate were the cashiers at the front along with the greeters and subway workers. Everything else is pretty much the same as any other Walmart throughout the country, definitely stop here if you need to get an all in one deal. So busy, kinda what we expected because of location. Staff was nice and helpful. Also was able to pick up some cheap souvenirs and t-shirts.

This is your typical WM with but with a lot of customers. The lines that I've experience here are unbelievable at times. I know it is the only one in this tourist town, but you would think with the amount of business they could open up a few more cashiers. The store is clean and they always have plenty of baskets. The parking lot is not over run with them as you find at some locations. The staff here are friendly and helpful with any questions. That seems to be the standard for the area. read more

It's an oxymoron that this is one of the most beauiful, stocked, clean, fresh Walmarts I've ever been in yet the shoppers are mostly unmasked. Yep, that's right, evidently, a whole bunch of Walmart shoppers in TN must be imune to covid. I called corportate who talked with me about their policies. Their corporate policy is right on - all employees and shoppers masked in every store....HOWEVER, they leave it to the individual stores to make their own policy. So, EXACTLY WHY have a corporate policy? I was especially disheartened when the man behind me sneezed right on me! NIIIICEEE. Will NOT ever visit this Walmart again, illness in the community (yes, folks, it's a real thing, even in TN!). If you are wanting TN Volunteer clothing, they are stocked. I was very happy to see cashiers actually open. This in itself is outstanding. Usually your almost forced to go to work for Walmart (self check out.) I don't know about you but I get upset when I don't get my W-2 from Walmart! Lol. I'm not a frequent shopper at Walmart but when we found ourselves vacationing in the area recently, our only option (other than spending loads of money eating out) was shopping here for groceries. On the bright side, they are open 24/7. No matter what time of day we came here, it was pretty busy so be prepared to navigate through some shopping carts in some tight aisles. It seemed like they were always stocking shelves and it was evident that they run out of things rather quickly since this seems to be the only grocery store along the main drag in Gatlinburg/Sevierville/Pigeon Forge. Luckily, we found most of the items we needed. You may not find all of your brand name organic, gluten free, farm raised items but there will be something comparable. I did have to return a few things that I realized I didn't need and the process in customer service was fairly quick. The employees that I came into contact with were always pleasant . Some tidbits: Also, as soon as you enter the store, someone will greet you asking if you need tickets to any local tourist attractions. There is also a wall of informational brochures on pretty all things to do in the area. The deli counter is not open 24/7. Best to get there during the day. Towards the entrance , you can get personalized airbrushed tshirts made. When in Gatlinburg, do what the locals do! Use the self check out lanes! read more

Cost was about the same as a quick lube station-no great savings there. Problems: 4 tires, 4 different pressures. Up to a 5 lb difference Windshield fluid not filled.
