Owned by good Christian people. The entrance was very inviting with the bears getting ready for Christmas. I am not a western wear person, but they had a great selection of clothing, jewelry, etc. guaranteed to have something for everyone. I was intrigued to watch how hats and boots are sized and molded for a custom fit. My husband and father in law/ both left happy, each with a new box of boots under their arms. This is a really nice boot and apparel store. We've been here dozens of times and the service is always great. Disappointed this trip in the lack of social distancing and masks in the store. Staff was great but at least half the customers were maskless and the store was packed. We'll gladly go back when Covid's in better shape. read more

I was getting ready to go to a concert and decided to stop by and grab a black felt hat. I had never been to this store before. I was greeted when I walked in the door. The store is laid out very well. I found exactly what I was looking for and then had it shaped like Rip Wheeler's hat. Savanna was courteous and knowledgeable and always had a smile on her face. I've been searching for some new shoes/boots for some time and just couldn't seem to find anything that would work. Due to some issues with my left foot. So when I came to Pigeon Forge for a few days I thought if I'm going to find some shoes this would be the place to shop (I do not like to shop). So I mapped out a number of stores to visit and Stages West was first on the list. This was my first time going into the store and was pleasantly surprised with the selection and service. Wes was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their products and guided me through finding a pair of casual Airiat shoes and cowboy boots. Needless to say I didn't go anywhere else looking for shoes or boots. It is refreshing to go somewhere that has genuine customer service. My favorite country western wear store. They seem to have remodeled this Western Store since the lat time I have been in it. This is the perfect place to get your boots too. They seem to have so many boots to choose from. They have all the brand name boots like Justin for example. They have western clothes in here too. They have blue jeans and cow boy hats also. Yes, you can come in here and look like a cow boy. You need to check out their clearance shelves in here too. As you might get lucky and find a good deal. They have done great smelling cologne too that is located to the right as you come in on the wall. It's pretty reasonably priced as well. read more

I found a pair of boots online and was going to purchase them. I found a coupon online for 10% off online purchase at stageswest.com. I am off work on Sundays and Wednesdays and decided to drive down from West Virginia and try them on before I purchased them since they were $449.00. I never imagined that the store would NOT honor the 10% off in store since I was there with cash in hand to purchase. I asked if I could buy them online and pick them up in the store and the said that wasn't an option either. They told me the only way I could get the 10% would be to buy them online and have them shipped to my home in West Virginia. So.... Needless to say I left and went 1/2 a mile down the road and purchased them from Boot Junkies (who by the way had no problem taking 5 crisp 100 dollar bills). read more

This is a great store. They have a huge selection and their customer service is excellent. I came in with my wife and two kids. Our salesperson was so patient with our 3 year old who changed his mind over and over as he looked for boots. All she cared about was that we got exactly what we wanted. I worked with a different salesperson when getting fitted for a hat and she was equally as patient and helpful as well. If your looking for anything western, I'd try this store. This place is massive! It's very nicely set up. We were greeted at the door with a worker who opened the door for us. It looked like they had tons of staff if you need help. We went in there looking for a vest. Unfortunately we didn't find one we were looking for but other than that we don't have any complaints. Except maybe I wish the baby clothes were a little more affordable. They had onesies for like $30. My son was able to get a $10 toy. The women's bathroom was also nicely decorated. read more

Maybe it was because the store was closing soon, not sure but definitely would recommend asking for a sales person other than Cindy. I asked to hold a boot I wanted earlier in the day and she was nice enough to do so. Unfortunately it was our fault that we couldn't get back as soon as we would have liked so the boots were put back on the floor for sale. Completely understandable. Once that happened though she was pretty much done with me and wouldn't even check to see if there were any more in stock, and then excused herself to use the restroom and never came back. I did find a substitute boot that I liked, had it in my hand and went to find her since I assume they may get a commission. Once I found her she made zero eye contact and flay out ignored me as if I wasn't there. Needless to say I didn't make a purchase and found the boots I wanted online for about $10 less. My husband and i were visiting pigeon forge when we saw the huge boots from the highway and decided to go in and I'm so happy we did! The place is HUGE! Over 10,000 boots! Jann was our sales associate and she was awesome!!! Super helpful and pulled boots exactly what i was thinking! What a neat store. It's not just some facade with lousy products like a lot of other stores in Pigeon Forge. The store is large with a neat western motif throughout. They carry a great selection of western wear and cowboy stuff. You can get a hat, boots, rain slickers, spurs and a gun belt in the same place. You can also have your cowboy hat sized and shaped while you wait. John Wayne fans will appreciate the large selection of Duke memorabilia and decorations. A must see if you're into any of those things. Bonus: the staff has always been friendly. The only slight negative is that there isn't much parking but I've never not been able to park. read more
